        치과용 자동바렐연마기의 연마시간에 따른 3종 레진의 표면거칠기 관찰

        Purpose: This study aimed to produce resin prosthetics using a dental automatic barrel finishing. Surface roughness and surface topography of resins were observed according to the grinding time of the dental automatic barrel finishing. Methods: This study was performed with thermopolymer, autopolymer, and photopolymer resins. The dimensions of the specimen were 10×10×2 mm. Each specimen was polymerized according to the manufacturer's instructions. The polymerized resin was honed for 30 minutes at 5-min intervals in a dental automatic barrel finishing. The specimen was observed using a three-dimensional (3D) optical microscope, and the surface roughness was measured. Results: After the polishing with the dental automatic barrel finishing, the heat-cured (HC) specimen showed the highest and lowest values of Ra after 10 and 15 minutes, respectively. The self-cured (SC) specimen showed the highest and lowest values of Ra after 10 and 25 minutes, respectively. Finally, the 3D specimen showed the highest and lowest values of Ra after 5 and 20 minutes, respectively. Conclusion: After measuring the surface roughness of the three types of resins according to the grinding time of the dental automatic barrel finishing, the lowest Ra values for the HC, SC, and 3D specimens were measured after 15, 25, and 20 minutes, respectively. Therefore, we concluded that a limit on the grinding time of the resin using a dental automatic barrel finishing is needed.

        YMDD motif mutants of the hepatitis B virus(HBV) emerge in chronic hepatitis B patients after prolonged lamivudine treatment. HBV DNA breakthrough may be accompained by the emergence of YMDD mutants. We compared the performance of the sequencing method with that of RFMP method in chronic hepatitis B patients who had suffered the HBV DNA breakthrough after lamivudine treatment. Both sequencing and RFMP methods were used to detect YMDD variants in 20 chronic hepatitis B patients. YMDD mutants were detected in 17 samples (85.0%) by both methods. Among them, no mutants were detected in two samples(10.0%), while they were detected in the other sample(5.0%) with the RFMP method. The concordance rate between both methods was 95.0%. There was inconsistency in one sample showing mutants detected by the RFMP method, but not by sequencing method. In the sequencing method, the mutants was detected in the major type virus, but not in the minor type virus. However, both sequencing and RFMP methods were highly concordant except in one sample, so it is suggested that both methods are useful to detect YMDD mutants of chronic hepatitis B patients.

        구속 스트레스 및 수면장애를 유도한 흰쥐에서 허브 복합추출물에 의한 개선 효과

        본 연구에서는 라벤더, 캐모마일, 레몬버베나, 타임, 바질의 복합 열수 추출물이 수면을 촉진하고 스트레스를 완화하는지 확인하기 위하여 농도에 따라 동물모델에 미치는 효과를 관찰하였다. 허브 복합추출물(HME)을 10, 30, 100 mg/kg의 농도로 3주간 구속 스트레스 모델과 수면장애 모델에 각각 경구투여 하였고, 실험 결과 구속 스트레스를 유도한 동물모델에서 HMEⅡ군(30 mg/kg)과 HMEⅢ군(100 mg/kg)은 혈장 내 코티졸과 IL-6 함량을 감소시켰으며, HMEⅢ군은 체중 대비 부신 무게도 유의적으로 회복시킨 것을 확인하였다. 수면장애 모델에서는 HMEⅢ군이 대조군에 비해 체중이 증가하였고, HME Ⅱ, Ⅲ군은 혈장 내 멜라토닌 수치를 높였으며 코티졸 수치를 감소시켰다. 이러한 결과를 통해 본 실험에서 사용한 허브 복합추출물이 농도에 따라 스트레스 완화와 수면장애 개선에 효과가 있음을 확인하였다. In the present study, we examined whether or not an herbal mixture extract (HME) has attenuation effects on immobilization stress and sleep disturbance in rats. Immobilization stress was induced by restricting movement using a constraint box for 2 h, and sleep disturbance was induced by exposure to 300 lx of constant light for 24 h and injection of caffeine (1 mg/kg, i.p.). Rats were orally treated with distilled water (vehicle) or HME for 3 weeks at different doses of 10, 30, and 100 mg/kg/d (HME Ⅰ, Ⅱ, and Ⅲ, respectively). In the immobilization model, HMEⅢ treatment significantly decreased adrenal gland weight, whereas HME Ⅱ and Ⅲ treatment reduced plasma levels of cortisol. HME Ⅱ and Ⅲ also reduced the level of IL-6. In the sleep disturbance model, HME Ⅱ and Ⅲ meaningfully reduced the plasma level of cortisol, and the increased plasma level of melatonin. HMEⅢ significantly increased body weight. HME reduced immobilization stress and ameliorated disturbance in rats. These findings suggest that HME may have beneficial potential for attenuation of sleep disturbance and stress.

        Apolipoprotein E is the major lipid-carrier protein in the brain, and several studies provided evidence that apolipoprotein E(ApoE) epsilon4 allele can be considered a genetic risk factor for Alzheimer``s disease(AD). Inheritance of the APOE gene has three alleles: ε2, ε3 and ε4. There are six possible genotypes: ε2/ε2, ε3/ε 3, ε4/ε4, ε2/ε3, ε2/ε4, ε3/ε4. AD is characterized by a progressive loss of function and death of nerve cells in several areas of the brain. The ε4 allele is associated with a risk for developing AD. People with the ε4/ε4 genotype have the highest risk, but people with the ε2/ε4 or ε3/ε4 genotypes are also likely to develop the disease. 64.3% of people carry the is ε3/ε3 genotype, 22.1% carry the second ε3/ε4 genotype but, ε2/ε2 genotype is not usually found of people carry the 3.6% is ε4/ε4 genotype in a total of a test group of 140 people. The ratio of ε4/ε4 genotype related directly with AD is less than the ε3/ε3 genotype, but the ε2/ε4 and ε3/ε4 genotype ratio of indirect AD risk is 25.7% in the group of people, regardless. Thus, we have referred to the benefit from the treatment of AD through apoE genotype diagnosis.

      • NaF(sodium fluoride)용기를 이용한 Glucose와 HbA1c의 성적에 관한 비교분석

        The blood glucose and hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) tests play important roles in many diabetes research projects, including the Diabetes Control and Complications Trial (DCCT). This study was conducted to research the effectiveness of conducting HbA1c tests with NaF containers that have been used for blood glucose testing in diabetes screening. We performed glucose tests (HA7170, Hexokinase method) and HbA1cs (Variant II, HPLC method) with 150 patient subjects. The correlation coefficients value(r) was 0.9943 (P<0.01, y=0.9967x+0.0275) for HbA1c tests using the EDTA and NaF containers. Compared with glucose concentrations, mean HbA1c concentrations were 70-110 mg/dL 5.21±0.52%, 110-200 mg/dL 5.36±0.88%, and 200-400 mg/dL 9.71±3.22% with the correlation coefficients value(r)=0.6381(P<0.01, y=0.0227x+ 2.9434). These results suggest that performing blood glucose and HbA1c tests with NaF containers at the same time is a possibility. In the abnormal range of blood glucose test levels(110 mg/dL > blood glucose>200 mg/dL), the rate of accordance with HbA1c readings is greater than 95%. In the range of normal blood glucose test levels(110 mg/dL < blood glucose < 200 mg/dL), occurrences where there are high blood glucose readings and normal HbA1c readings is greater than 50%. In general, HbA1c values have been referred to in monitoring MBG (Mean Blood Glucose), but for more precise data, it is important that both tests be conducted together. Furthermore, HbA1c testing is more useful than blood glucose testing because HbA1c determines MBG concentrations that are less affected by time variations than blood glucose test results.

        It is important to find a allergen in allergic disease, Allergy MAST( CLA, USA) is known as useful allergen-screening test We investigated the positive rate of Total IgE and frequency of specific allergen from July, 1997 to June, 1m3 for 3m patient sera using Inhalant and Food-MAST test The positive rate of Total IgE was 50%(198/393). In September and October, The positive rate of Total IgE was 81.8% and 91.9% respectively. In April, the positive rate was 70%. The positive rate of Total IgE was relatively high in autumn and spring. The positive rate of mite-farinae and mite-pteronyssinus allergen in mite group was 16.020.,-6 and 15.14% respectively. Mite allergen showed relatively highest positive rate. House dust allergen showed 6.34% positive rate. In animal allergens, Dog allergen(5.11%) showed higher positive rate than cat allergen. In food allergens, Cow``s milkJ5.63%) and crab(4.23%) showed relatively high positive rate. Mugwort(3.87%) and rye(2.46%) showed relatively high positive rate in weed allergens. Among 1ffi Total-IgE positive sera, the rate of absence of specific allergen was 54%(l07/1ffi). The cause of no-specific allergen detection was supposed that detected-IgE was not allergy-specific IgE or other allergen existed but not in the combination of specific allergen of Inha1ant and Food MAST Kit.

        Purpose Vitamin D to Anti- Rickets both steroid compounds showing activity, By acting on bone tissue secretary and the key to maintain serum Ca homeostasis. The blood level of vitamin D is the largest in D3 that the concentration of the metabolite is reflected in the holding state of vitamin D in vivo. Sunlight to change the 7-dehydrocholesterol in the skin and through the skin to D3, In the liver in combination with the D2 and D3 D4 changes. The Radioimmunoassay(RIA) method is measuring the D 3, the sensitivity can be measured also difficult trace substance to measure the normal test because it is very sensitive, but recently, a check is possible, for the Total D3 in Chemimicroparticle immunoassay(CMIA) or Chemiluminescent immunoassay(CLIA) measuring using microparticle RIA and CMIA(Architect i2000SR) / use the CLIA(DXI-800) method to compare and evaluate the correlation between the tests in the same test items. Materials and Methods Commissioned from January 2014 to March 2015 patients were enrolled in a total of 273 people. 29 out of 273 people conducted by RIA were compared with CMIA, 244 patients were compared with CLIA. Using reagents and equipment were used RIA(Diasource), CMIA(Architect i2000SR, Abbott Diagnostics) / CLIA( Unicel DXi-800, Beckman coulter). Results Correlation of the RIA and CLIA was a R2 = 0.1844 (y = 0.7303x + 3.9005), and the correlation of RIA CMIA is R2 = 0.2762 (y = 0.8862x + 4.56) respectively. (According to statistics, during the same period RIA is Deficiency 4.31%, Insufficiency 90.53%, Sufficiency 5.16%, was Excess 0%, CLIA / CMIA is Deficiency 17.02%, Insufficiency 75.91%, Sufficiency 7.03%, indicating the distribution of 0.03 % Excess) Conclusion Serum vitamin D and parathyroid hormone that show an inverse relationship, the level above which are not parathyroid hormone and vitamin D reduced the increase. The density is different for each study, at most 20 is reported to be the maximum between 30 ng / ml. In Korea it requires a proposed standard of vitamin D deficiency, reference to the WHO lack the case more than 10ng/ml, 20ng/ml and defined by the lack of, if not more than, the IOM, but looking at 12ng/ml or less to the normal to lack, at least 20ng/ml, the reference do not match the deficit under 20ng/ml, 21-29ng/ml relative lack between, was also defined as a sufficient condition for more than 30ng/ml. Although not statistically is between RIA and CLIA two ways to vitamin D levels change according to season match, when seasonally seen in summer as commonly known (April to September), winter (October to March) relative to the increase measured than it was found. Finally, the study on the correlation between the two methods have been expected to result in a consistent and apply the same view high reference value on the graph is difficult. However, there may be differences between the test equipment and methods, and could be especially the case of RIA method using an organic solvent is difficult to compare different methods and correlated view similar trend in vitamin D deficiency and quarterly aspect ratio.
