        전문대학 보건계열 대학생의 가치관과 자기효능감에 따른 전공만족도

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate major satisfaction according to the values and self efficacy of students majoring in health science. Methods: Among the 170 respondents, 25.3% were male and 74.7% were females. The departments were 28.9% of physical therapy, 20.6% of laboratory science, 23.5% of occupational therapy, 14.1% of nursing, and dental hygiene 12.9%. Results: In the present study major satisfaction was significantly higher when the higher self efficacy and significantly lower when the higher value. Conclusions: These results indicate that it is necessary to provide contents and appropriate guidance that can enhance the values and self efficacy in order to improve major satisfaction of students majoring in health science.

        중간볼기근 수축 자세 및 저항에 따른 근전도 분석

        Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the maximum voluntary isometric(MVIC) of gluteus medius muscle determine if there are differences in these MVIC with respect to different position. Method: 30 healthy subjects with no known musculoskeletal disorders were recruited as the participants. The MVIC hip abduction at nine different position. Differences in MVIC in according with various condition were assessed by use of repeated one-way ANOVA. Differences surface and muscle contraction type were assessed by use of paired t-test. Results: Glureus medius muscle MVIC were significantly greater for hip abduction at angles of 0° and 25°than 45°, were significantly greater for ankle than knee area, and were significantly greater for eccentric contraction than concentric contraction. Conclusion: Hip abduction at angle of 0°and 25°, ankle, and eccentric contraction position may be effective in activating the gluteus medius muscle.

        근에너지기법이 유착성 견관절낭염에 미치는 효과

        Objective: This study is to investigate the effect of muscle energy techniques in adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder. Method: Selected five people diagnosed with subjects with adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder. utilizing muscle energy technology after applying heat treatment(20min) for the first It was performed for the treatment of power(20min). 3 times a week for four weeks for a total of 12 times, the treatment time was for 40 minutes. Use of motion during visual analogue scale(VAS), to evaluate the pain was measured joint range of motion(ROM). In order to measure the functional activity was assessed using the shoulder pain and disability index(SPADI). Results: The pain showed a significant decrease from 4.8 to 3.2, and after exercise were significantly increased in all motion in ROM. SPADI showed a significant decrease from 30 to 16.4 Conclusion: Reduced muscle energy techniques of pain during treatment of patients with adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder, an increase of joint range of motion expected to be utilized as a basis material which can be used as a method of treatment of the frequency for improved arm function doing.

        불완전 척수손상 환자의 키보드 높이에 따른 손목폄근의 근전도 및 불편감 비교

        This research investigated the difference in both discomfort and muscle activity in the musculoskeletal system for wrist depending on the height of the keyboard for patients suffering from cervical spinal cord damage and healthy adults. The research recruited 62 patients with Cerebral Infraction and assessed their cognitive and balance function. Fifteen people comprised of six cervical spinal cord injury patients (C6) and nine healthy people participated in the research. In the comparison of the electromyogram compared to the height of the keyboard, the research compared the electromyograms of the wrist extensor muscle per three conditions (elbow at 5cm below the head, elbow at head height, and elbow at 5cm overhead). For the statistical method, the research adopted one-way layout variance analysis by descriptive analysis, within-group and Freedman comparison, and non-parametric test. As a result, the muscle activity depending on the height of the keyboard did not show any significant difference (p>.05) in all three conditions for both damaged and healthy groups. The discomfort depending on the height showed significant differences depending on three heights for both damaged and healthy groups; the damaged group reported the least discomfort when the elbow was 5cm below the head, and the healthy group reported the least discomfort when the keyboard was 5cm over the head. The research confirmed that there is are differences in both wrist muscle activity and discomfort for patients with damaged cervical spinal cord and healthy adults.

        온도변화에 따른 인지 수행력의 변화

        Objective: This study is aimed to observe the changes of Cognitive performance according to the temperature. Methods: Twenty four subjects who don’t have hypersensitivity reaction to environment weather hot or cold and problem of mental and physical state. At first, subjects participated in response execution test in room temperature. After that, subjects were exposed to the hot (55 ℃) or cold (-7.4 ℃) room for ten minutes and took the test again after checking their body temperature. Details of the test were response execution and response selection. The test was analyzed by using SPSS 21.0 statistical program. Results: Compared to the room temperature the Cognitive performance was averagely 0.207 seconds faster in a high temperature condition so there was a serious dissimilarity. The Cognitive performance was averagely 0.123 seconds slower in a low temperature that indicated a significant variation. Compared to the room temperature the response execution increased 2.250 pieces in a high temperature and thus there was a serious difference. It decreased averagely 0.188 pieces in a low temperature which demonstrated an important change. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between environmental temperature and response performance, adjusting the temperature according to the patient’s condition will increase the therapeutic effect.

        교각운동 시 지지면의 차이가 복횡근 두께에 미치는 영향

        Objective: It was intended to study the effect of support surface difference in bridging exercise on thickness of transverse abdominis. Method: Dividing 35 healthy adults in H University located in Gangwon-do to 2 groups in September, 2009, the thickness difference of musculus transverse abdominis between bridging exercise on a support surface using a sling and a fixed support surface was studied. In order to measure the thickness of musculus transverse abdominis, ultrasonic imaging was used. For comparison between the groups, independent samples t-test was performed. Results: It was found that thickness changes of the musculus transverse abdominis between groups were 0.35 ± 0.21 ㎝ in the sling surface bridging exercise group and 0.16 ± 0.14 ㎝ in the fixed surface group, so it was suggested that the muscle thickness of bridging exercise group on the sling surface was increased more significantly (p<.05). Conclusion: It is considered that the bridging exercise on the sling support surface shows further increased thickness of the fixed surface bridging exercise group and is more effective to musculoskeletal prevention or therapeutic intervention.

        호흡훈련을 적용한 연하치료가 뇌졸중 환자의 연하기능과 호흡기능에 미치는 영향

        Objective: The purpose of the present study was to examine the effects of respiratory training (RT) and Sham training (ST) on the swallowing functions and respiratory functions of stroke patients with dysphagia. Method: From July through September 2012, 24 patients with dysphagia due to stroke in R Rehabilitation Hospital located in Gyeonggi-do were divided into two groups of 12 patients each and administered with traditional swallowing therapy for 30 minutes and either RT or ST for 15 minutes five times per week for six weeks. Results: In the comparisons between the two groups, although the experimental group showed improvement compared to the control group, the differences were not significant. As for the correlations between swallowing functions and respiratory functions, significant correlations were shown between RIOC and FVC, between RIOC and FEV1, and between RIPS and FEV1⁄FVC. Conclusion: It could be seen that administering both traditional swallowing therapy and respiratory therapy are more effective to patients with dysphagia due to stroke.

        체간 안정화 운동이 만성 뇌졸중 환자의 균형에 미치는 영향

        Objective: This study was conducted in order to examine the effects of trunk stabilization exercise on chronic stroke patients' balance ability. Method: Thirty-three chronic stroke patients were divided into an experimental group who performed trunk stabilization exercise for 8 weeks and a control group who received ordinary exercise treatment for the same period. In order to measure the subjects' balance ability, COPA(Center of pressure area) and K-BBS(Korean version of the Berg balance), TIS(Trunk impairment scale), FRT(Functional reach test), and TUG(Timed up & go test), clinical evaluation indexes, were measured. Results: COPA, K-BBS, TIS, FRT, and TUG statistically significantly improved in the experimental group (p<.05) and K-BBS and TUG statistically significantly improved in the control group (p<.05). In comparison between the two groups, K-BBS, TIS, FRT, and TUG were statistically significantly different in the 0 to 4 weeks, 4 to 8 weeks, 4 to 8 weeks, and 4 to 8 weeks, respectively (p<.05). Conclusion: According to this study result, trunk stabilization exercise was more effective in improving chronic stroke patients' balance ability than ordinary exercise treatment. Accordingly, trunk stabilization exercise is expected to be used as an exercise method to enhance stroke patients' balance ability without the risk of falls.

        운동손상아동의 하지 근력훈련이 대동작 기능과 보행의 시공간적 변수에 미치는 영향

        Objective: The purpose of the present study was to examine the effects of lower extremity muscle force training and general physical therapy training on the spatiotemporal variables of the gross motor functions and gaits of children with motor impairment. Method: Twenty-four children with motor impairment were divided into an experimental group of 12 children and a control group of 12 children. To examine the children's gross motor functions and ambulatory abilities, the gross motor function measure (GMFM), the pediatric evaluation of disability inventory (PEDI), and the gait analysis (GaitRite) were administered before and after the experiment. Result: After the intervention, greater improvement was seen in the GMFM scores in lower extremity muscle force training group than in the general physical therapy training group(p<.05). Conclusion: For children with motor impairment, lower extremity muscle force training is more effective in improving spatiotemporal variables of gross motor function than general physical therapy training.
