        A Study on Thermal Characteristic Analysis and Shape Optimization of a Ventilated Disc

        In this study, an analysis technique that can estimate the temperature rise and thermal deformation of the ventilated disc considering vehicle information, braking condition and properties of the disc and pad is developed. The analytical process of the braking power generation during braking is mathematically derived. The thermal energy that is applied to the surface of a disc as heat flux is calculated when a vehicle is decelerating from 130 km/h to 0 km/h with deceleration of 0.4 g. Then,the temperature rise and thermal deformation of a disc are calculated through the thermo-mechanical analysis by using SAMCEF code. The shape of the cross section of the disc is optimized according to the response surface analysis method in order to minimize the temperature rise and thermal deformation. As a result of optimization, it is concluded that the temperature rise and thermal deformation of the disc become minimum at the same condition. The hot judder analysis is carried out using the original and optimized disc to validate the optimization result.

        심폐소생팀 수행도 및 리더십 평가도구 개발

        Background: The assessment tools for leadership and performance of resuscitation teams are have not been developed. We evaluated the checklists for resuscitation team performance and teamwork. Methods: We developed two checklists for team dynamics (D1, D2) and two checklists for team performances (P1, P2). The videotaped mock resuscitation before and after a 2-hr Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) training were also evaluated by two emergency physicians and two nurses using the four checklists. The validity and agreement between assessors were determined. Internal consistency was determined using Cronbach-α. Results: There were no significant differences in scores by expert consensus and the checklist score. The average scores between different assessors were different except for the D1 and D2 between doctors. The Cronbach-α for internal consistency were within acceptable ranges in the checklists D2 and P2. Conclusions: This study suggests that the D2 and P2 checklists are provisionally acceptable due to relatively high validity, agreement, and internal consistency. However, further research is needed to develop validated checklists for resuscitation teams.

        Background: The average duty hours of resident physicians will be restricted to below 80 hours/week in Korea. This study was intended to determine current status of duty hours of emergency resident physicians in Korea. Methods: The training committee of the Korean society of emergency medicine surveyed every year a questionnaire about resident training status to training hospital directors. The 2013 survey questionnaire contained the total number of duty hours during 4 weeks of July (first to 28th day) according to the grades of resident physician. The proportions of both irregular working hours and independent working hours without supervision of board certified physician were also evaluated. Results: Response from 80 hospitals out of 97 training hospitals were analyzed. The average duty hour of emergency resident physician was 63.7±10.7 hours/week. The proportion of hospitals that average duty hour exceeding 80 hours/week was 16.1%. Irregular working hours consisted of 63.9%. Residents in 15(18.7%) hospitals worked 3.7~73.5% of their duty without supervision of board certified physician. The higher grade resident had lesser working hours (1st-year resident 71.3±13.1 h, 2nd 65.5±11.8 h, 3rd 62.2±12.8 h, and 4th 55.8±14.2 h, p<0.001). There were no statistical difference in the rate of both irregular work and unsupervised work according to the grade. Conclusion: This study revealed that 9(11.3%) hospitals had the average duty hour above 80 hours/week. Training hospitals should prepare to minimize the impact of duty hour restriction near future in Korea as well as to improve training quality.

        인휠 시스템용 유성 기어 감속기의 응력 해석 및 개선 설계

        The planetary gear reducer becomes more and more widely used in machine industries. The planetary gear reducer has a significant role to transmit power to wheel & tire module in the Inwheel system. Thus, the planetary gear reducer should have strong stiffness and durability. In this paper, the contact and bending stresses at the tooth of the planetary gear reducer are analyzed using MASTA, a commercial gear design and analysis software. Stress distribution at the tooth face of the sun, planetary and annulus gears are obtained using the finite element method. The design modification is performed using the response surface method. The usefulness of the design modification and optimization method presented in this paper is verified by comparing the maximum stresses of the original and optimized planetary gear tooth

        생활체육 참여자의 부부친밀감이 스트레스 및 행복감에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 생활체육 참여자의 부부친밀감이 스트레스 및 행복감에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 규명하는데 규명하 고자 전남 동부지역의 스포츠 센터 및 동호회 등에서 참여하고 있는 기혼자 222명의 대상자의 자료로 최종 분석하여 다음 과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 부부친밀감이 스트레스에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 우울은 정서적 친밀감, 사회적 역할수 행 및 자기신뢰는 정서적 친밀감, 인지적 친밀감, 일반건강 및 생명력은 정서적 친밀감, 인지적 친밀감이 부적(-)영향을 미쳤고, 수면장애 및 불안은 정서적 친밀감이 부적(-)영향을 미쳤으나, 성적 친밀감은 정적(+)영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 부 부친밀감이 행복감에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 내적행복은 정서적 친밀감, 성적 친밀감이 정적(+) 영향을 미쳤고, 외적행복감은 정적 친밀감이 정적(+)영향을 미쳤다. 이렇듯 생활체육 참여자의 부부친밀감이 스트레스 및 행복감에 영 향을 미친다는 결론은 도출할 수 있었다. 하지만 이 연구는 전남 동부지역으로 대상을 제한하였기 때문에 다른 지역별로 연구를 분석하여 규명할 필요성이 있으며, 스포츠를 통해 부부친밀감을 향상시켜 행복한 가정생활 및 사회생활이 될 수 있다. 나아가 생활체육이 발전할 수 있는 기반이 될 수 있도록 지속적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다. In order to find out how couples' closeness affects stress and euphoria, this research was finally analyzed with data from 222 married people participating in sports centers and clubs in eastern South Jeolla Province and concluded as follows. First, after analyzing the effects of conjugal intimacy on stress, depression had emotional intimacy, cognitive intimacy, general health and life force, emotional intimacy, cognitive intimacy had an amulet effect, sleep disorder and anxiety had an amiss effect, but sexual intimacy had a negative impact. Second, after analyzing the effect of conjugal intimacy on happiness, inner happiness had a static effect, sexual intimacy had a static effect, while external happiness had a static effect. As such, the conclusion that couples' closeness affects stress and happiness could be reached. However, since this research limited the targets to eastern South Jeolla Province, it is necessary to analyze and identify them by analyzing them in different regions, and through sports, it can be a happy family life and social life by improving the conjugal intimacy. Furthermore, continuous research is believed to be necessary to help the physical education develop.

        비공기압 타이어의 진동 개선방안에 대한 연구

        In this study, to improve the vibration characteristics of non-pneumatic tires, the mechanical characteristics of a honeycomb and straight spokes were compared and analyzed. It was proven that the amplitude of vibration can be reduced by inserting an insulator between the straight spoke and the wheel. By constructing finite element models for the honeycomb and straight spokes and performing a structural and the vibration analysis, the vertical stiffness and vibration characteristics of the straight spoke were confirmed to be better than those of the honeycomb spoke. A comparison of models before and after the insertion of the insulator into the straight spoke proved that the insulator does not affect the magnitude of the natural frequency; however, it reduces the amplitude of the vibration. 본 연구에서는 비공기압 타이어의 진동 특성을 개선하기 위하여 허니컴 스포크와 일자형 스포크의 기계적 특성을 비교 분석하였고, 일자형 스포크와 휠 사이에 절연체를 삽입함으로써 진동의 크기를 줄일 수 있음을 입증하였다. 허니컴 스포크와 일자형 스포크에 대한 유한요소 모델을 생성하여 구조 해석과 진동 해석을 수행함으로서 수직 강성 과 진동 특성이 일자형 스포크가 좋음을 확인하였다. 일자형 스포크에 절연체를 삽입하기 전/후 모델 비교를 통해 절연체 삽입이 고유 진동수의 크기에는 영향이 없으나, 진동의 크기(진폭)는 줄인다는 것을 증명하였다.
