Bone morphogenetic proteins(BMPs) are regarded as members of the transforming growth $factor-{\beta}$ superfamily with characteristic features in their amino acid sequences. A number of studies have demonstrated the biologic activities of BMPs, which include the induction of cartilage and bone formation. Recently there was a attempt to overcome a limitation of mass production, and economical efficieny of rh-BMPs. The method producing PTD by using bacteria have advantages of acquiry a mass of proteins. Hences, a new treatment which deliver protein employed by protein transduction domain(PTD) has been tried. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the bone regenerative effect of TATBMP-2 and TAT-HA2-BMP-2 employed by PTD from HlV-1 TAT protein for protein translocation in the rat calvarial model. An 8mm calvarial, critical size osteotomy defect was created in each of 32 male Spraque-Dawley rats(weight $250{\sim}300g$). The animals were divided into 4 groups of 32 animals each (4 animals/group/healing interval). The defect was treated with TATBMP-2/ACS(Absorbable collagen sponge) (TATBMP-2 0.1mg/ml), TAT-HA2-BMP-2/ACS(TAT-HA2-BMP-2 0.1mg/ml), ACS alone or left untreated for surgical control(negative control). The rats were sacrificed at 2 or 8 weeks postsurgery, and the results were evaluated histologically. The results were as follows: New bone formation were not significantly greater in the TATBMP-2/ACS group relative to negative, and positive control groups. New bone was evident at the defect sites in TAT-HA2-BMP-2/ACS group relative to negative, positive control and TATBMP-2 groups. There were a little bone regeneration in TATBMP-2 groups. While, enhanced local bone formation were observed in TAT-HA2-BMP-2 group. But, The results was not the same in all rat defects. Therefore, further investigations are required to develop a method. which disperse homogenously, and adhere to target cells.

The pressure drop characteristics of air particle flow in a powder transport piping system were analyzed in this study. The pressure drop characteristics of air particle flow in the piping system have not well understood due to the complexibility of particle motion mechanism. Particles or powders suspended in the air flow cause the increase of the pressure drop and affect directly transport efficiency. In this study, the pressure drop in a powder transport piping system was analyzed with interactions of air flow and particle motion in straight and curved pipes. The total pressure drop increased with pipe length, mixture ratio, and friction factor of particles because of increased friction loss of air and particles in the piping system. For the coal powders of 74 ㎛size and powder-to-air mass mixture ratio of 0.667, the total pressure drop under the consideration of powders and air flow was calculated as much as 30% higher than that air flow only.

Dental implants are required to have biomechanical functions and biostability in order to perform authoring, pronunciation, and aesthetic functions in the oral cavity. In terms of biostability, pure titanium for medical have good biostability and no rejection in the alveolar bone. with appropriate strength in terms of strength as well as biocompatibility. In recent years, various surgical methods and devices have been developed to improve the convenience and safety of the procedure. However, as the number of procedures increases, the screw loosening of the abutment screw connecting the artificial root and the abutment There are many reports of artificial root and abutment fracture. Fig. 1 is an example of a case where the upper part of the abutment screw is arbitrarily modified to remove the abutment by the abutment fracture due to the loosening of the abutment screw. The fundamental cause of abduction of the abutment screw is caused by the slight movement due to the lowering of the retention force of the abutment screw. It is necessary to minimize loosening of the abutment screw to avoid problems such as fracture during the period of using the implant. The wear characteristics in supre-A dental material have been investigated. The wear tests were performed by using pin-on-disk wear tester at room temperature. Vickers hardness and fracture toughness measurement of dental materials were preformed. Microscopic observations on worn surfaces of specimens were conducted by SEM. The friction coefficient of supper-A material was investigated according to weight and slinging velocity. The hardness of supper-A material was a half of the enamel of natural teeth.

This research progressed space evaluation test with 3D simulation for exterior space of detached housing area among the Seoul spaces of child sex offense in 2010. Based on changing analysis on natural surveillance by spatial changes of each physical element, the purpose is to suggest effective construction planning measure for preventing child sex offense. The results of research are as follows. First, natural surveillance of space's height differences and width differences were compared and analyzed. As the result, footpath shows that stairs of slope didn't make lots of effects on visual block, not block of spatial moving, because of the difference of stair height. Also, in case of parking space, visual connection with footpath is expanded when designing pilotis rather than heightening floor height, so activities of exterior people could be seen more easily. Therefore, natural surveillance was higher. Second, natural surveillance of architectural elements by changes of footpath' width was compared and analyzed. As the result, openness of footpath should be secured rather than openness of architectural element. And, planning autonomy of architectural form could be more expanded when securing openness of footpath.

This research analyzed the ventilation effect of the multi-span greenhouse based on the types of greenhouse structure, weather conditions, and locations inside the greenhouse. To compare and analyze the ventilation effects with different types of greenhouse, the uniform environmental conditions should be selected in advance. But these factors are not controlled and require tense many precision facilities and labor forces. Thus, the CFD simulation was used for the air stream to be analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. In addition, for the ventilation effect analysis, the TGD (Tracer Gas Decay) was used to overcome the shortcomings of the current ventilation measurement method. The calculation error of ventilation rate using TGD was low (10.5%). Thus, the TGD is very effective in calculating the ventilation efficiency. The wind direction of 90 degrees showed the best ventilation effect. The ventilation rate also decreased along the air circulation path, and the rate was the lowest around the outlet. The computed fluid method (CFD) turned out to be a power tool for simulating flow behavior in greenhouse.

LPSP는 자가면역성 췌장염의 병리소견으로 악·양 성병변의 감별이 어려워 시행하는 Whipple씨 술식에서 양성병변 중 가장 흔하다. 본 증례는 폐쇄성 황달을 주소로 내원한 67세 남자에서 악·양성병변의 감별이 어려워 whipple씨 술식을 시행하고 LPSP를 진단한 예를 경험하여 보고하는 바이다. Lymphoplasmacytic sclerosing pancreatitis, also referred to as autoimmune pancreatitis, is a benign disease characterized by irregular narrowing of the pancreatic duct, swelling of the pancreatic parenchyma, lymphoplasmacytic infiltration and fibrosis. A few cases with locally affected lesions show features similar to cancer. Lymphoplasmacytic sclerosing pancreatitis is the most common benign disease in patients undergoing Whipple resection for a presumed pancreatic malignancy. We report a case of lymphoplasmacytic sclerosing pancreatitis diagnosed after surgery in a patient presenting with obstructive jaundice, with a review of the literature. Objectives:The purpose of this study was to assess clinical effectiveness and metabolic benefits by switching from risperidone to ziprasidone in chronic stable schizophrenic patients. Methods:A total of 19 patients taking risperidone were switched to a 12-week, open label, flexible dose(80- 160㎎/day) of ziprasidone. Current psychiatric status was evaluated by Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale(PANSS), Clinical Global Impression(CGI), and Global Assessment of Functioning(GAF). Drug induced abnormal movements were assessed using various scales. Laboratory tests including lipid profiles, HbA1c, fasting plasma glucose and electrocardiography were carried out. Results:Of the 19 enrolled patients, 14 patients(73.7%) completed the study. Mean daily dose were 6.1±2.0㎎ for risperidone at the baseline and 123.1±8.1㎎ for ziprasidone at the end point of the study. Significant improvements were found on PANSS negative subscale scores(p<.05), with trends towards improved positive and psychopathology subscale scores. Among metabolic parameters, mean total cholesterol, triglyceride, and free fatty acid showed significant improvements(all ps<.05). In line with these findings, mean body weight and hip size significantly decreased from baseline(each p<.05). Regarding tolerability, frequency and severity of abnormal movements were not significantly different between two drugs. The ECG results showed no significant change from baseline in the QTc interval. Conclusion:Our findings supported the use of ziprasidone as a good option for the treatment of stable yet partially resolved outpatients with schizophrenia who has been taking risperidone continually, with benefits in efficacy particularly negative symptoms, reduction of body weight as well as hip size, and improvements in metabolic risk factors.
