교회의 선교적 디아코니아 효율성 제고를 위한 사회과학적 분석 : 교회의 사회봉사모집관리(recruitment management) 에 따른 조절효과를 중심으로

Increasing number of churches are adopting church social volunteer programs. A major issue in organizing social volunteering concerns the management that are most effective for recruiting member participation. Grounded in previous research and discussion, this study develops and estimates a model identifying the relationships of religiosity, church social volunteer recruitment management, and level of church members' social volunteering. Using survey data from 1,490 church-going Christians and employing multiple regression method, this study demonstrates the importance of organizational intervention such as church social volunteer recruitment management to promote Christians' social volunteering. This study discusses directions for future research on same research topics.

기독교인의 영성적 나눔교육경험과 사회복지활동 참여에 대한 함의

본 연구의 목적은 기독교인의 종교기관에서 가진 영성적 나눔교육경험과 종교성이 사회복지활동과 갖는 영향관계와 그 관계에서 사회적책임성의 매개효과를 규명하고자 하는 것이다. 본 연구는 본 연구를 위해 2009년 서울·경기지역 개신교 교회에 소속되어 있는 교인들을 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 최종적으로 1,378명의 자료를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 종교기관에서 받은 영성적 나눔교육경험은 성인기 사회봉사 참여에 정적(+)으로 유의한 영향을 미치지만 사회적책임성을 매개하여 영향을 미치지는 않는 것으로 나타났다. 종교성 역시 사회봉사 참여에 직접적인 영향이 있었으나 사회적책임성을 매개하여 영향을 미치지는 않았다. 그러나 기부의 경우, 영성적 나눔교육이 기부에 직접적인 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하였으나 사회적책임성을 매개하여 정적(+)인 영향을 미쳤으며 종교성은 기부에 직접적으로 정적(+)인 영향을 미칠 뿐 아니라 사회적책임성을 매개로 하는 간접적 영향도 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 특히 기독교인의 사회복지활동 참여를 사회봉사와 기부 참여로 보고 사회복지활동 참여에 영향을 미치는 과정을 구조방정식 모형을 활용하여 실증연구하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 종교를 갖는 시민의 사회복지활동 참여 활성화를 위한 종교기관의 실천 방안 및 추후 연구과제에 대하여 논의하였다. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of spiritual philanthropic education in church and religiosity on philanthropic activities such as giving and volunteering, with a particular focus on mediating effects of social responsibility. Research data were collected from 1,378 Protestants affiliated to churches in Seoul-Kyunggi province. This study adopted a structural equation modeling. The result indicated that spiritual philanthropic education and religiosity had direct effect on volunteering, but there were no indirect effects mediated by social responsibility. On the other hand, spiritual philanthropic education and religiosity both had indirect effects on giving mediated by social responsibility. Though spiritual philanthropic education and religiosity had significant effects on both giving and volunteering, their mediating influences were different. Based on these results, the implication of this study and future research tasks were discussed.

복리후생제도 시행수준과 관계적계약과의 관계에서 상사지원 및 조직지원의 이중매개 효과

본 연구는 사회복지사가 조직에 대해 갖는 관계적계약과 관련하여 이에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인들의 인과관계를 검증하고자 하였다. 사회복지사의 관계적계약 인식에 영향을 미치는 요인으로서 조직의 복리후생제도 시행수준이 사회복지사가 인식하는 상사지원과 조직지원에 영향을 미침은 물론, 이것이 상사지원과 조직지원을 매개하여 관계적계약과의 관계에까지 영향을 미칠 것으로 보고 연구모형을 설정하였다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 광주광역시에서 근무하는 사회복지사를 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하여 371명의 자료를 수거하였으며 상사지원 변수의 영향관계를 고려하여 직급이 최고경영자인 관장에 해당하는 응답자와 주요 변수에 불성실응답을 한 경우를 제외한 최종 271명의 자료를 분석하였다. 구조방정식모형을 통해 분석한 결과, 사회복지사의 상사지원과 조직지원에 대한 인식이 높을수록 관계적계약 인식 정도도 높아졌다. 응답자가 소속된 조직의 복리후생제도 시행수준은 상사지원과 조직지원의 이중매개 경로를 거쳐 관계적계약에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 동시에 관계적계약에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 이러한 연구결과에 기반을 두어 사회복지사의 관계적계약 인식 제고와 관련 함의 및 후속연구의 필요성을 제시하였다. This study aims to analyze the influence relationship between the level of fringe benefits and relational contract among social workers in the non-profit organization. Under this relationship, we explored the dual mediating effect of perceived superiors support and perceived organizational support. A total of 371 self-administered questionnaires were distributed to social workers in Gwangju, South Korea, and 271 questionnaires (73.0%) were used for study analysis after excluding incomplete and unreliable responses. This study performed structural equation modeling, the results are as follows. Perceived superiors support and perceived organizational support both have a positive (+) influence on relational contract. Furthermore, perceived superior’s support and perceived organizational support were found to mediate effect between fringe benefits and relational contract. Therefore, these results contribute to provide academic meaning that the range of future studies by identifying the dual mediated effect of the fringe benefits and social worker s relational contract.

종교인구의 자선적기부 행태에 관한 연구

본 연구는 종교인구의 자선적 기부행동에 있어 기부처 선택행동을 고찰하기 위하여 이들의 선행요인을 파악해 보고자 한다. 이를 위해 2009년에 수도권 지역에 거주하는 개신교인 1,523명을 대상으로 조사된 자료를 활용하여, 기부처 선택행동을 네 범주(출석교회, 비영리기관, 출석교회 및 비영리기관, 비기부)로 구분하여 기부자의 기부처 선택에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 분석해 보았다. 선행요인으로 결속적·교량적 사회자 본, 종교성과 인구사회학적 요인을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 분석을 위하여 다항로짓회귀분석(multinominal logistic Regression)을 사용하였다. 우도비 검증 결과, 사회자본 요인 중에서는 교회내부의 연결망크기와 비영리기관에 대한 신뢰, 사회봉사 참여가 통계적으로 유의하였다. 종교성 요인 중에는 십일조 납부가 유의하였으며, 인구사회학적 요인은 연령, 학력, 소득에서만 유의한 영향이 나타났다. 본 연구는 이전까지 발표된 기부에 관한 연구 중에서 특정 종교를 가진 시민을 대상으로 자선적 기부처 선택행동에 관심을 두고 사회자본의 유형과 종교성의 선행요인을 중심으로 실증적으로 검증한데 의미가 있으며 종교와 관련한 민간자원에 대한 이해와 개발전략 수립을 위한 실천적 함의를 찾을 수 있다. This study attempts to explore the secular giving behavior among Protestants, which is an interesting topic regarding the relation of religion and civic engagement. The data was collected from church-going Protestants 1,523 who lived in capital area. This study classifies secular giving types into four categories (only church almsgiving, only giving to charitable organizations, comprehensive giving-giving to both, and non-giving) and analyzes factors influencing their choice. It examines the effects of bonding and bridging types of social capital(network, trust, secular volunteering), relgiosity(importance of religion, church attendance, religious volunteering, tithe), and demographic factors. For the analysis, this study employs a multi-nomial logistic regression model. The result of likelihood ratio test shows that among social capital factors, network within church members, trust toward charitable organizations, secular volunteering have statistically significant effects on selecting giving places. And church attendance, tithe, and some demographic factors are significant as well. Especially using Protestants religious traditions as measures of bonding and bridging social capital in and out of church, this study empirically test how these different forms of social capital affect choice behavior of selecting giving places. Our results suggest that Protestants have higher dedication on helping needy but the bonding type social capital promote only giving to their own church, conversely, the bridging type social capital and comprehensive type social capital foster bridging type of giving. This article shows how the social capital that groups cultivate in communities need not always benefit communities as a whole.

이상주의와 개인-조직적합성이 사회복지사의 고객지향성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 조직의 윤리경영인식의 조절효과

본 연구는 사회복지기관에서 종사하는 사회복지사의 고객지향성을 종속변수로 설정하고 이에 영향을 미치는 인구사회학적 특성을 포함한 개인특성 변수 및 조직관련 변수를 통제변수로 보고 영향관계를 검증하였다. 특히 사회복지조직의 고객지향성은 윤리성의 영향을 받는다는 점에 착안하여 사회복지사 개인의 이상주의 가치와 조직의 윤리경영인식의 영향을 확인하고자 하 였으며 조직에 대한 윤리경영인식이 사회복지사의 이상주의적 가치 및 개인-조직적합성과 갖는 조절효과에 대하여 집중적인 분석을 하였다. 본 연구는 광주지역 사회복지시설에서 종사하는 사회복지사 567명의 자료를 분석하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회복지사의 이상주의와 개인-조직적합성, 그리고 사회복지사가 지각하는 조직의 윤리경영인식이 고객지향성에 미치는 주효과는 정적인 방향에서 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 사회복지사의 이상주의와 윤리경영인식 간의 상호작용 효과는 유의하지 않은 반면, 개인-조직적합성과 윤리경영인식 간의 상호작용 효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 사회복지사의 고객지향성을 제고하기 위해서는 사회복지사의 이상주의적 가치와 조직의 윤리경영을 위한 노력이 필요하고, 무엇보다도 조직의 윤리경영은 개인-조직적합성이 있는 경우에 더욱 제고될 수 있음을 시사한다. 마지막으로 조직관리, 사회복지사 채용과 교육 및 후속 연구를 위한 방향에 대하여 논의한다. Grounded in previous research and discussion, this study develops and estimates a model identifying the relationships of social workers’idealism, person-organization fit, perceived ethical management and customer orientation. Especially, this study analyzes moderating effect of perceived ethical management of the organizations which social workers work for. Using survey data from 567 social workers in Gwangju area and employing multiple regression method, this study has results that support four hypotheses. This study demonstrates that there is a positive relationship between idealism and customer orientation; perceived ethical management and customer orientation; person-organization fit and customer orientation. Also there is a moderating effect of ethical management in the relationship person-organization fit and customer orientation. Primarily, this findings emphasize the importance of social workers’ values such as idealism, and promoting organizational ethical management in social service agencies employing social workers. In addition, these findings equally emphasize importance of social workers with person-organization ft. Finally, this study discusses directions for educational, managerial taskes and future research on the same research topics.

한국 개신교인의 자원봉사영역 선택행동 영향요인 탐색

본 연구는 개신교인의 자원봉사활동 참여와 자원봉사영역 선택행동을 규명하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 특히 본 연구에서는 종교를 가진 시민들의 봉사영역 선택 행동에 초점을 두면서 봉사영역을 세 가지로 나누고 ‘종교봉사만 참여’, ‘사회봉사만 참여’, ‘종교봉사와 사회봉사 모두 참여’에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대하여 분석하였다. 분석을 위해서 다항로짓회귀분석모형 (multinomial logit model)을 사용하였으며 서울·경기지역의 개신교 교회 38곳에 소속된 1,294명의 개신교인으로부터 자료를 수집하였다. 자원봉사 참여 및 자원봉사 영역 선택에 영향을 미치는 요인을 밝히기 위하여 세 가지 이론 즉 사회적자원이론(social resource theory), 행위설정이론(behavior setting theory), 그리고 집단자원봉사이론(group volunteer theory)을 적용하여 연구모델을 설정하였다. 비봉사 집단을 준거집단으로 분석한 결과, 종교봉사만 참여하는 집단의 경우 개인의 믿음, 교회 출석, 교회내 관계망이 정적인(+) 영향을 나타냈고 소속교회의 크기는 부적(-) 영향을 미쳤다. 사회봉사만 참여하는 집단의 경우는 개인의 믿음, 교회내·외의 관계망, 그리고 교회 정기간행물의 사회봉사 정보가 정적으로(+) 유의한 영향이 있었다. 종교봉사와 사회봉사 모두 참여하는 집단 역시 개인의 믿음, 교회출석, 교회내 관계망이 정적인(+) 영향을 나타냈으며 소속교회의 나눔에 대한 설교와 감리교 소속이 두 가지 봉사 모두에 참여하는 데 유의한 영향을 나타냈다. 종교봉사나 사회봉사 한 가지 봉사만 참여하는 집단은 인구사회학적 요인으로부터 유의한 영향이 없었던 반면 종교봉사와 사회봉사 모두에 참여하는 집단은 연령, 직업, 어린자녀 요인에도 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 연구대상이 수도권 지역 개신교 교인에 국한되어 종교와 시민참여활동을 설명하는 데 한계가 있으나 그간 한국사회에서 드물게 시도된 종교인구의 자원봉사 참여와 자원봉사영역선택행동의 기제를 밝히고자 하는 새로운 시도로서 함의를 갖는다. 또한 한국사회에서 자원봉사활동에 중요한 역할을 담당하는 종교기관의 역할과 자원봉사 동기화를 위한 실천적 함의를 제시하고 있다. This study attempts to explore the volunteering behavior among Christians which is an interesting topic regarding the relation between religion and civic engagement. Particularly, this paper explores determinants of different areas of volunteering: religious only volunteering, secular only volunteering, both religious and secular volunteering, and non-volunteering. For the analysis, this study employs a multinomial logit model. The data are collected from 1,294 respondents from 38 churches in Seoul and Kyeong-gi province. To understand what factors affect volunteering participation and the pattern of volunteering behavior to choose the volunteering area, this study employs three theories: social resource theory(haman, economic, social and cultural capital variables), behavior setting theory(church size), group volunteer theory(denomination, sermon, and bulletin). The result of likelihood test shows that with the non-volunteer group as a reference, the importance of faith, church attendance and in-church network size has a positive effect on religious volunteering but church size has a negative effect. The secular volunteering is affected by the importance of faith, in-church and out-of-church network size and frequency of volunteering information on the church periodicals. Both religious and secular volunteering is positively affected by age, in-church network size, importance of faith, church attendance, Methodist denomination, and frequency of sermon but negatively affected by employment, children, and church size. This study guides a new empirical investigation of the factors affecting on participation in volunteering and the areas they involved in. It broadens and promotes understanding regarding such volunteers’ characteristics and behaviors whose religious organizations should continuously care for and cultivate. It also has practical implications in guiding the volunteer mobilization of religious organizations.

기독교인의 복지인식에 관한 연구

본 연구는 기독교인의 복지인식에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. 수도권 및 충정지역에 위치한 개신교 교회에 출석하는 기독교인을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였으며, 총 738명이 응답하였다. 복지인식에 미치는 영향을 기독교인의 종교성과 사회적 관심으로 나누어 분석하였으며, 분석방법은 빈도 및 기술분석, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석이 사용되었다. 분석결과 종교성 중 성경읽기와 기도가, 사회적 관심의 경우 사회적 이슈 인지와 복지이슈 인지가 복지인식에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 종교인구의 복지인식을 대상으로 하는 연구가 부족한 상황에서 우리나라 인구의 상당한 비율을 차지하는 기독교인의 복지인식에 미치는 선행요인을 다양한 종교성 요인과 함께 실증연구 했다는 점에서 의의가 있다. This study analyzed the effect of Christian religiosity and social interest on Christians' perception of welfare. The sample included 738 Christians who attend Protestant churches in the metropolitan and Chungchong areas. The study utilized frequency and descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis as analysis methods. The findings revealed that reading the Bible and prayer among Christian religiosity and awareness of social issues and welfare issues among social interest had a significant effect on welfare perception. The study is significant as it identified the antecedent factors affecting the welfare perception of church members who act as service providers of the church, which is the primary delivery system for practicing private social welfare.

고객불량행동 및 비인격적감독행동과 직무소진 간의 관계에서 감정노동의 매개효과 검증
