        패턴인식 알고리즘을 적용한 임플란트 주변골 흡수 분석

        Purpose: The aim of this study is to analyze the series of panoramic radiograph of implant patients using the system to measure peri-implant crestal bone loss according to the elapsed time from fixture installation time to more than three years. Methods: Choose 10 patients having 45 implant fixtures installed, which have series of panoramic radiograph in the period to be analyzed by the system. Then, calculated the crestal bone depth and statistics and selected the implant in concerned by clicking the implant of image shown on the monitor by the implemented pattern recognition system. Then, the system recognized the x, y coordination of the implant and peri-implant alveolar crest, and calculated the distance between the approximated line of implant fixture and alveolar crest. By applying pattern recognition to periodic panoramic radiographs, we attained the results and made a comparison with the results of preceded articles concerning peri-implant marginal bone loss. Analyzing peri-implant crestal bone loss in a regression analysis periodic filmed panoramic radiograph, logarithmic approximation had highest $R^2$ value, and the equation is as shown below. $y=0.245Logx{\pm}0.42$, $R^2=0.53$, unit: month (x), mm (y) Results: Panoramic radiograph is a more wide-scoped view compared with the periapical radiograph in the same resolution. Therefore, there was not enough information in the radiograph in local area. Anterior portion of many radiographs was out of the focal trough and blurred precluding the accurate recognition by the system, and many implants were overlapped with the adjacent structures, in which the alveolar crest was impossible to find. Conclusion: Considering the earlier objective and error, we expect better results from an analysis of periapical radiograph than panoramic radiograph. Implementing additional function, we expect high extensibility of pattern recognition system as a diagnostic tool to evaluate implant-bone integration, calculate length from fixture to inferior alveolar nerve, and from fixture to base of the maxillary sinus.

        천문동 추출물의 호흡기 세균에 대한 항균활성 및 항산화

        본 연구에서는 민간에서 호흡기 질환에 효능이 있다고 알려진 천문동 뿌리를 재료로 하고 추출물을 각각 달리하여 호흡기 세균에 대한 항균작용 및 항산화를 살펴보았다. 여러가지 추출용매 중 에틸 아세테이트 추출물에서만 호흡기 세균에 대한 항균활성이 나타났으며 최소저해농도(MIC)는 S. aureus와 E. coli는 100 mg/ml, S. epidermidis는 75 mg/ml, P. aeruginosa는 25 mg/ml로 각각 측정되어 P. aeruginosa 에 대한 항균활성이 가장 높았다. 항균 활성을 나타낸 에틸 아세테이트 추출물의 항산화 활성을 알아보기 위해 Lascorbic acid를 대조구로 하여 DPPH radical 소거활성을 측정한 결과는 IC50은 각각 0.17, 3.83 mg/ml로 나타났다. 또한 총 폴리페놀 및 플라보노이드 함량은 측정한 결과 각각 14 ± 0.7, 0.50 ± 0.13 mg/g을 나타내었다. 본 연구는 천문동연구의 초석으로서 향후에 생리활성 효과를 증진시킬 수 있는 연구가 더 진행된다면 건강기능식품소재로서 가능성이 있다고 생각된다. This study was aimed at determining the antioxidant and antimicrobial effects of solvent extracts from Asparagus cochinchinensis. The Asparagus cochinchinensis was extracted with water, methanol, ethanol, n-hexane, dichloromethane, ethyl acetate, and ether. The antimicrobial activity of these extracts was determined by modified well diffusion methods against 4 species of respiratory disease bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus epidermidis, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa). In addition, the amount of total polyphenol and flavonoid content, and antioxidant activity was evaluated. Ethyl acetate extract of A. cochinchinensis exhibited higher antimicrobial activity against tested microorganisms than water, methanol, ethanol, n-hexane, dichloromethane, and ether extracts. For antioxidant activity, the ethyl acetate extract of A. cochinchinensis exhibited a notable effect on the scavenging of superoxide against DPPH (IC50 = 3.81 mg/ml). Finally, the total polyphenol and flavonoid contents were 14 ± 0.7 mg/g, and 0.50 ± 0.13 mg/g, respectively. These results can be regarded as basic research into A. cochinchinensis for the prevention of respiratory diseases. The results indicate that A. cochinchinensis may be utilized as a nutraceutical for respiratory diseases when the physiologically active substances of A. cochinchinensis are increased by further study.

        월리엄 포크너의≪팔월의 빛≫과 미국 남부 신화의 재현

        This paper examines William Faulkner`s narrative and representation of the Southern myth in Light in August. Joe`s narrative reveals the difficulties deeply rooted in a Southern town, Jefferson, based on white superiority, Christianity, and patriarchy, etc. Faulkner intentionally hides this complicated and biased Southern myth as well as reveals it dramatically by using Joe Christmas`s suffering, the exploration of his identity, and the murder of Joanna he commits and his ultimate torture and death. Joe is an indeterminable figure resisting a clear classification into either the white or the black, and thereby shows the Southern social system based on this racial classification. As a black beast rapist and killer, he gets lynched and castrated by Percy Grimm, a young white supremacist. Southerner`s violent refusal of him reaches a climax with Percy Grimm`s emasculating act, that is, the removal of abject factors in the South for its justice and reconstruction of racial and gender boundaries. Joe`s tragedy lies in the fact that he follows the very logic of the white male society that expels and sacrifices him as the abject. Furthermore, the novel`s awful mixture of National Guards and Southern lynch mob under the sign of whiteness acts as a powerful critique of modern America, signifying, as it does, the monstrosity of, not the racially ambiguous Joe Christmas, nor the novel`s construction of all sorts of others in the text, but the monstrosity of the state itself as an unstoppable agent of death. Consequently, readers should familiarize themselves with this represented myth by carefully reading the entire narrative in this novel.

        관능이 개선된 발효두유 제조를 위한 젖산균 분리,동정 및 특성

        본 연구에서는 선행 발효두유에서의 산미·이취를 개선시키기 위해 한국 전통발효식품인 김치로부터 젖산균을 분리 및 동정하였다. 분리된 89주의 균주 중 두유 발효 시 산미·이취를 생성하지 않는 균 3주(Strain No. R53, R83, R84)를 임의로 분리하였다. 생물학적, 형태학적 및 16S rRNA 유전자 염기서열 등과 같은 생화학적 분석 결과 최종적으로 3주의 균은 W. koreensis 동정되었다. 최종적으로 이 3주의 균중 가장 산미·이취를 적게 생성하는 것으로 판단되는 Strain No. R83을 최종 실험 균주로 사용하였으며 이 균주를 W. koreensis KO3로 명명하였다. W. koreensis KO3을 이용하여 최적 발효두유를 제조하였으며 이화학적 특성을 알아보았다. 30℃에서 12시간 발효시켰을 때 생균수가 8.71 × 10(8) CFU/ml로 가장 생육이 뛰어났으며, 이때의 pH와 산도는 각각 6.02, 0.33%를 나타내었다. 일반성분은 수분 94.06%, 조회분 0.18%, 조단백 2.71%, 조지방 1.16%, 조섬유 0.01%로 측정되었다. 아미노산 분석 결과 27종의 아미노산과 유도체들이 확인되었다. 단맛을 가지는 아미노산으로 알려진 serine, glycine, threonine, alanine, aspartic acid 함량이 증가하였고 발효 전에는 검출되지 않았던 ornithine이 생성되었다. 관능평가에 있어서는 선행 발효두유에 비해 모든 항목에서 개선된 평가를 얻었다. 따라서 관능검사, pH 및 산도 그리고 아미노산 분석을 결과를 토대로 볼 때 W. korensis K03로 제조한 발효두유는 음료로서 가능성이 있다고 생각되며 향후 연구를 통해 기능성 성분이 탐색 된다면 새로운 형태의 건강식품개발의 기초 자료로서 활용 가능할 것으로 보인다. In order to improve the sour taste and foul odor of fermented soymilk, bacteria were isolated from kimchi and identified. Of the 89 bacterial strains isolated from kimchi, 3 isolates produced fermented soymilk with a sour taste and foul odor. The selected bacterial strains R53, R83, and R84 were identified by morphological, biochemical, and 16S rRNA analyses as Weissella koreensis. The strain R83, which produced fermented soymilk having the mildest sour taste and foul odor, was selected for further investigation and named W. koreensis KO3. The optimum culture condition for the fermentation of soymilk by W. koreensis KO3 was at 30℃ for 12 h. When soymilk was fermented under the optimum culture conditions, the viable cell count reached up to 8.71 × 10(8) CFU/ml and pH and acidity reached as low as 6.02 and as high as 0.33%, respectively. Twenty-seven amino acids and their derivatives were detected in fermented soymilk. The amounts of serine, glycine, threonine, alanine, and aspartic acid, which contribute to a sweeter taste, increased during fermentation. Orinithine, which was not detected before fermentation, increased during fermentation. Sensory evaluation showed that W. koreensis KO3-fermented soymilk has improved bean, roasted nut, and sour flavors as well as an enhanced mouthfeel, appearance, preferability, and overall acceptability compared with those of standard fermented soymilk. With further study and development, soymilk fermented by W. koreensis KO3 could serve as a health-promoting food with favorable sensory qualities.

        스마트폰과 고니오메타를 이용한 어깨관절의 안쪽돌림과 바깥돌림의 신뢰도와 타당도

        Purpose This research was performed to inquire the reliability and validity of internal rotation and external rotation of shoulder joint using smart phone and goniometer to healthy subjects. Methods Universal goniometer and two android application, hysical tools YMED ROM and goniometer developed by Nagomi.aqu was used to collect the data from 30 healthy subjects in age of 20s, 15 male and 15 female, from S University in Busan, Republic of Korea. As a procedure, all subjects were properly stretched before the experiment. The active internal and external rotation of right arm of each subject were measured and 3 raters measured each subject 5 times with 3 different tools, overall 15 times for each subject. And each rater were blindfolded to conceal the results from other raters. SPSS 20.0 software were used to process all statistics, and intraclass correlation coeffienct (2.k) model were used to calculate the reliability and pearson correlation coefficient validity were used to calculate the validity. Results As the result, intrarater reliability of 3 raters showed high reliability (ICC>0.9). Interrater reliability showed high reliability in all measurement (ICC>0.9), validity of measuring tools showed very high correlation in both active internal and external rotation of shoulder joint. Conclusion This research showed the value measured with goniometer application using gyroscope of smartphone is reliable. Peculiarly, the value of both reliability and validity of external rotation was higher than that of internal rotation

        가상현실 체육수업의 활용을 위한 에너지소비량 분석

        본 연구는 가상현실(virtual reality: VR)을 접목한 학교체육수업을 기존의 학교체육수업(physical education class: Gym)과 비교하여 신체활동에 요구된 에너지소비량(energy expenditure: EE)을 분석하고, VR을 활용한 학교체육수업이 신체활동량을 높일 수 있는 수단으로써 활용가능성을 제시하고자 한다. VR과 Gym의 EE를 비교하기 위해, 초등학생 70명(남·여, 나이 11.8±0.8 세, 신장 146.4±7.2 cm, 체중 40.0±9.9 kg, BMI 18.6±3.6 kg/m2)을 대상으로 VR과 Gym의 활동을 촬영하였다. 활동적인 동작을 선별하고, 대사당량을 부여하여 EE를 산출하였다. 각 체육수업과 성별의 차이를 확인하기 위해 일원분산분석을 사용하였으며, VR과 Gym의 EE의 차이는 t검정을 이용하였다. EE의 차이는 VR의 3.5±0.9 kcal/min과 비교하여 Gym의 4.1±1.1 kcal/min에서 평균적으로 유의하게 높았다(p<.05). 성별의 경우 VR과 Gym모두 여아동과 비교하여, 남아동에서 EE가 높게 나타났으나(p<.01), Gym의 여아동과 VR의 남아동에서 Gym의 여아동의 EE가 높게 나타났다(p<.01). VR은 Gym 보다 평균적인 EE가 낮게 평가 되었으나, 걷기, 공부, 수면과 같은 일반적인 신체활동과 비교하여 높은 EE를 소비하는 것으로 신체활동을 높일 수 있는 체육수업으로 활용가능성을 보였다. This study compared the energy expenditure (EE) of physical education (PE) classes during application of virtual reality (VR) module to conventional PE classes occurred in Gymnasium (Gym). This study evaluated whether PE class with VR can be a potential substitute for the conventional PE class to promote physical activity. To compare EE between VR and Gym, 70 elementary school boys and girls (11.8±0.8 yrs old, height 146.4±7.2 cm, weight 40.0±9.9 kg, BMI 18.6±3.6 kg/m2) were video taped during their VR and Gym classes. From the tapes, their activity levels were categorized and metabolic equivalents were given for estimating EE. To compare sex differences during each class, one-way ANOVA with repeated measures were employed and, differences between VR and Gym were compared using independent t-test. The average EE in VR (3.5±0.9 kcal/min) was higher than that in Gym (4.1±1.1 kcal/min) (p<.05). The EE of boys were higher than that of girls in both VR and Gym (p<.01), but the EE of girls in Gym appeared to be higher than that of boys in VR (p<.01). Although EE in VR was less than EE in Gym, EE of VR showed a potential substitute of PE class promoting physical activity level since its EE was higher than daily prevalent physical activities such as walking, studying and sleeping.
