이차원 이미징 배열소자를 갖는 밀리미터파 수동 이미징 시스템을 제작하였다. 이 이미징 시스템을 제작하기 위하여 하나의 기판에 페르미테이퍼 슬롯 안테나. 발룬, 저잡음 증폭기 검파기가 집적되어 있는 이미징 배열 소자를 개발하였다. 또한 $2\times2$의 이미징 배열소자가 배열된 시스템으로 사람의 밀리미터파 수동 이미지를 얻었다. 현재 실시간 35GHz 밀리미터파 수동 이미지 시스템 개발을 위한 이차원 배열 소자를 개발 중에 있다. 제작된 이차원 이미징 배열소자를 갖는 밀리미터파 수동 이미징 시스템을 바탕으로 밀리미터파 실시간 영상을 취득할 수 있는 밀리미터파 수동 이미징 시스템의 실현을 기대할 수 있게 되었다. We have developed a passive millimeter wave (PMMW) imaging system with two-dimensional imaging arrays. For the imaging system we achieved single-substrate imaging-array element which include all necessary component such as Fermi tapered slot antenna (TSA), a balun, LNA's and a detector circuit on it. Two-dimensional arrays for real-time imaging at the 35 GHz band are currently under development. We will be able to make an advanced PMMW image system based on our system with the $2\times2$ imaging array in the near future.

We have developed an imaging radiometer system at W-band. The system consists of lens, reflector, 30-ch receiver array, scanner, and signal processor. One receiver consists of a dielectric rod antenna, a balun, LNA(low noise amplifier) and a detector. The system configuration requirements are described. Finally, we represent radiometer images to obtain through clouds, smoke, dust, and other obstructions which render visible and IR systems ineffective.

무선 기반 제어 시스템에서 안정성을 보장하기 위한 일반적인 설계 방식은 제어기가 무선채널을 통하여 개별 센서 값을 수신한 다음 계산된 제어신호를 액추에이터로 전송한다. 본 논문에서는 플랜트의 모든 센서가 동시에 스케일링된 신호를 액추에이터로 전송한 후, 액추에이터가 수신 된 신호를 추가적으로 스케일링하여 피드백 제어신호를 계산할 수 있는 Over-the-air controller 기법을 제안한다. 이러한 제어신호 컴퓨팅 기법은 기본적으로 Over-the-air computation 기술을 적용하여 무선 제어 시스템의 제어신호를 무선채널을 통하여 계산한다. 일반적인 센서-제어기-액추에이터 통신 방식과 대조적으로, Over-the-air controller는 다중 액세스 무선채널의 중첩 속성을 활용하여 단일통신 자원에서 다수 센싱 신호의 통신 및 컴퓨팅을 완료한다. 따라서 제안된 기법은 전용 제어기가 필요하지 않은 단순한 네트워크 구조로 피드백 지연시간 및 무선 자원 사용률을 개선시킬 수 있다. To stabilize closed-loop wireless control systems, the state-of-the-art approach receives the individual sensor measurements at the controller and then sends the computed control signal to the actuators. We propose an over-the-air controller scheme where all sensors attached to the plant transmit scaled sensing signals simultaneously to the actuator, and the actuator then computes the feedback control signal by scaling the received signal. The over-the-air controller essentially adopts the over-the-air computation concept to compute the control signal for closed-loop wireless control systems. In contrast to the state-of-the-art sensor-to-controller and controller-to-actuator communication approach, the over-the-air controller exploits the superposition properties of multiple-access wireless channels to complete the communication and computation of a large number of sensing signals in a single communication resource unit. Therefore, the proposed scheme can obtain significant benefits in terms of low actuation delay and low resource utilization with a simple network architecture that does not require a dedicated controller.
Role of Branched-chain Amino Acid Metabolism in Tumor Development and Progression

Branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), isoleucine, leucine and valine, are essential amino acids with vital roles in protein synthesis and energy production. We reviewed the fundamentals of BCAA metabolism in advanced cancer patients. BCAAs and various catabolic products act as signalling molecules, which activate mechanisms ranging from protein synthesis to insulin secretion. Recently, BCAA metabolism has been suggested to contribute to cancer progression. Of particular interest is the modulation of the mTOR activity by BCAAs. There are likely multiple pathways involved in BCAA metabolism implicated in carcinogenesis. Understanding the mechanism(s) underlying altered BCAAs metabolism will significantly advance the current understanding of nutrient involvement in carcinogenesis and direct future studies to unravel the significance of BCCA metabolites in tumor development and progression.

The increase of impervious surface and development along the river due to urbanization not only causes an increase in the number of associated flood risk factors but also exacerbates flood damage, leading to difficulties in flood management. Flood control measures should be prioritized based on various geographical information in urban areas. In this study, a probabilistic flood hazard assessment was applied to flood-prone areas near an urban river. Flood hazard maps were alternatively considered and used to describe the expected inundation areas for a given set of predictors such as elevation, slope, runoff curve number, and distance to river. This study proposes a Bayesian logistic regression-based flood risk model that aims to provide a probabilistic risk metric such as population-at-risk (PAR). Finally, the logistic regression model demonstrates the probabilistic flood hazard maps for the entire area.

This study aims to identify the community characteristics of meiofauna inhabiting the Yellow Sea continental shelf. To this end an annual survey was conducted considering the seasons from 2018 to 2020 at 13 stations with a depth of 18~90 m of the Yellow Sea located at latitudes 35, 36 and 37 degrees north latitude. The survey was conducted in three seasons of spring, summer, and autumn at 5 stations in October 2018, 9 stations in April 2019, and 6 stations in August 2020 was used to collect 3 repetitions at each station. The habitat density of meiobenthos in the surveyed area was in the range of 45~1029 inds./10 cm<sup>2</sup>, which was similar to the previous studies conducted in the Yellow Sea. The density of meiobenthos according to the seasons was 800±69 inds./10 cm<sup>2</sup> in autumn, the highest, and the lowest at 260±48 inds./10 cm<sup>2</sup> in summer. A total of 19 taxa appeared in meiobenthos, and the average value showed the number of nine taxa. Among the appearing taxa, the most dominant taxon was nematodes, accounting for 80.8% of the total density, followed by benthic copepods (8.8%) and benthic foraminifers (4.7%). As for the size distribution of medium benthic animals, the density of organisms corresponding to the size of 63~125 ㎛ was the highest, and 1~0.5 mm was the lowest. As for the vertical distribution in the sediments of medium benthic animals, the habitat density gradually decreased as the depth increased in the sediment surface layer. As a result of analysis of the N/C ratio, MPI, and ITD index using medium-sized benthic animals to identify the benthic environment, there were differences by season, but no values indicating pollution overall.

Objectives : Lumbar multifidus muscle stabilize lumbar spine. Atrophy of multifidus muscle follows disfunction of low back pain patient's activity and increase the reoccurency of herniation of nucleus purposus surgery. Lumbar herniation of nucleus purposus if common cause of low back pain. We have evaluated the atrophy of multifidus of nucleus purposus. Methods : Five patients were diagnosed as Lumbar herniation of nucleus purposus through the CT imaging. CT imaging were visually analysed to know lumbar multifidus muscle atrophy. Results and Conclusions : Examination of multifidus muscle atrophy should be considered with assessing CT imaging of lumbar spine. It may help for further evaluation and planning the treatment of Lumbar herniation of nucleus purposus patient.
한국 성인 알레르기 비염 환자의 삶의 질 평가를 위한 설문지 개발 및 유용성 평가를 위한 연구

Background: Quantitative measurement of allergic rhinitis (AR)-specific quality of life (QOL) impairment is important for the evaluation of its burden and efficacy of treatment. However, the QOL questionnaire for Korean AR has not yet been developed. Objective: The aim of this study is to develop and validate the QOL questionnaire for Korean AR patients. Method: We surveyed 22 AR-related items in 284 persistent AR patients and, based on the survey, developed an AR-specific Korean QOL questionnaire. The questionnaire consisted of 15 items and adapted 5-point scale for each item. We validated the questionnaire by comparing the QOL scores from 95 patients before and after the treatments with mometasone or levocetrizine. Result: The mean QOL score was lowered by 0.73 (0.33, 1.80) (P<0.001) in 30 patients with a definite improvement and by 0.63 (?0.33, 1.73) (P<0.001) in 29 patients with a slight improvement. However, the score was not significantly lowered in 17 patients without improvement [0.20 (0.00, 0.33), P=0.24]. The questionnaire was also highly reproducible with the value of intraclass correlation coefficient and interclass standard deviation as 0.996 (P<0.001) and 0.736, respectively. Conclusion: We developed and validated a Korean allergic rhinitis QOL questionnaire, and this can be used for evaluating the efficacy of treatment modalities for AR. Cone-jet mode of electrospray was studied for diverse applications for the generation of uniform droplets. For water electrospray, there is a controversy on the contribution of corona discharge on a stable con-jet mode. For typical electrospray fluids, corona discharge occurs in higher voltage than the onset voltages of corresponding con-jet mode. However for water electrospray, due to high surface tension of water droplets, the voltage range of the con-jet mode reaches near or higher than the corona onset voltage. In this study, the cone-jet mode was observed in a water electrospray charged in negative HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current), and the droplet diameter was measured using a shadowgraph technique. Through the geometric standard deviation and distribution of the spray droplet size, the existence of a stable cone-jet mode under corona discharge environment was shown by the monodisperse distribution of water droplets.

There are two types of noise in a vehicle. One is the structure-borne noise which results from the mechanical vibrations generated in a vehicle being transmitted through the mounting systems causing body panels to vibrate, and the other is the airborne noise which results from the radiated sound power being transmitted through the body panels to the interior or to the vehicle exterior. FEM (Finite Element Method) and BEM (Boundary Element Method) are generally used for the structure borne noise analysis in low frequency range under 200㎐, while SEA is used for the air borne noise analysis in high frequency range over 1㎑. Hybrid FE-SEA method could be used for noise analysis in mid frequency range and it had been studied to get reliability in the analysis. But the hybrid method takes long time in building a CAE model due to conversion SEA element through FE model as well as getting modal density, stiffness multiplier, radiation multiplier and coupling loss factor. In this paper, acoustic sensitivity analysis and design study have been performed based on FE method at exhaust mount bracket area in mid-frequency range. The proper contact model is proposed for improving the fidelity of the acoustic sensitivity analysis using FE method, and CAE results is compared with test results to verify the proposed method.
