The lumbar disc is one of the first parts of the human body to age. Female discs start to age at twenty and completely age between fifty and sixty. The number of lumbar herniated intervertebral disc patients is increasing rapidly; however, studies on protective inner wear are insufficient. This study develops protective inner wear equipment for bodies. The following were the study methods and procedures. First, the protective design, pattern and making of the inner wear were based on the analysis of collected data. Second, one subject was selected, then human body parts were measured to create the inner protective pattern. The inner pattern was made by the basic size of the subject. The inner protective equipment was made for lumbar disc disease patients after a wearing test and after correcting the pattern. Third, inner protective equipment was thoroughly tested to verify the compatibility of lumbar pads. The following were the study results and observations. First, lumbar pads who had inner protection were easily worn and the design was very ladyish in contrast to other lumbar pads on the market. Second, the pattern was completed by referring to, Lee Hyoung Sook`s, torso and her lumbar pad shape. The fabric was mesh (for good ventilation) and poly span-dex (for elasticity). Third, lumbar inner protective equipment was verified through a subject assessment and a major assessment. This study showed high scores on appearance and functional satisfaction versus existing disc lumbar pads in the market. This study predicts that new waist protective inner wear can help the female patient`s health and social life because it has great functionality and can maintain outer line patterns.

여성 농업인 발 유형에 관한 연구

This study was performed to offer the basic data for the design of farm shoes. 265 Korean female farmers aging between the 40s to the 80s volunteered for this study and we measured 40 items on each foot with the 3D foot scanner. First, the differences between farmers` feet and non-farmers` feet were analyzed. Farmers` feet were thicker in the instep areas, but had lower arch height than non-farmers` feet. In addition, farmer`s feet were tilted to the inside. Next, eight factors were extracted among the 40 measuring items, and the classification criteria of the foot shape was analyzed. The important factors were: size of foot length and volume of ankle, malleolus height and size, volume of the front part of ankle, medial & lateral ball width, and vertical size of foot. Third, three clusters according to the foot shapes were categorized by cluster analysis of eight factor scores. Foot type 1 was medium in foot length, big in thickness, large in lateral ball width, small in toe 1 angle, and tilted to the inside. Foot type 2 was long and slim, and big in toe 5 angle. Foot type 3 was short in foot length, medium in volume of the front part of ankle, large in medial ball width, and big in toe 1 angle. Despite its shortness, foot type 3 was thick and showed severe deformation in toe 1. Lastly, the frequency distributions of the foot types in each age group were analyzed. Female farmers of the forties showed high frequency in type 1 and other age groups showed high frequency in type 2. The older female farmers showed higher frequency of type 3.

This study proposed a revision of standard sizing system for infant clothing to provide exact information for consumers and manufacturers. The size designation was set up by compensating the defect of existing system. Basic body measurement and reference body measurement were analysed according to size designation. The ages of the infants ranged from 0 to 36 month in accordance with safety standard of KC Self-Regularity Safety Confirmation. The results are as follows: Size designation for infant clothing was based on height that was basic body measurement. Chest girth, waist girth, head girth, arm length, foot length and weight were also analysed according to age of the month. It was proposed that height could be written alone and height with age of month did together for size designation. Size intervals of basic and reference body measurements were fixed as follows: size intervals are 5 cm in height, 2 cm in chest girth, 2 cm in waist girth, 1 cm in head girth, 2 cm in arm length, 0.5 cm in foot length and 2 kg in weight. The distributions of height and chest girth showed normal distributions. As height was taller, chest girth was also bigger. But the distribution of waist irth didn``t show remarkable change with age of month. The distributions of arm length and weight showed remarkable difference with growth in 0~9 months, but the amount of growth variation got less in 12~18 months.

시판 유아동복 치수체계에 관한 연구

This study was done to provide the basic data for improving the sizing system for infants and children`s clothing. The 97 brands were surveyed through market research and on-line searching. Size and body measurements were analyzed according to the content of nominal size, type of market, national and foreign brands, and meaning of reference size. The results are as follows: 1. The meaning of nominal sizes was categorized as five cases: the size based on body meas-urements, the size based on age, the meaningless size, letter cord and combination of 2 out of 4 cases above. The nominal size based on height was most observed, and the meaningless nominal size was second. The meaningless nominal size can cause confusion when consumer buys clothing. 2. The department stores mainly used the nominal size based on body measurements, but the Internet shopping malls largely used the meaningless nominal size. 3. Both national brands and foreign brands mainly used the nominal size based on height. But national brands largely used the different nominal sizes. 4. 41 brands indicated body measurements as reference size and 26 brands indicated product measurements as reference size. Therefore consumers tended to confuse the body measurements with the product measurement.

Lumbar discs are one of the first parts of the musculoskeletal system to age in the human body. Lumbar disc for females start to age at twenty years of age and completely age between fifty and sixty. The number of lumbar herniated intervertebral disc patients are increasing rapidly; however, studies on protective inner wear are insufficient. This study was conducted to develop protective inner wear equipment that retains an aesthetic appreciation of the body. The methods and procedures of this study are as follows. First, foreign and domestic lumbar pads were researched and analyzed by visiting medical shops and internet shopping malls that sell lumbar pads. Second, the survey was conducted on forty patients with disc disease in hospitals located in Seoul and surrounding suburbs. The following are the study results and observations. First, the lumbar pads selling on the market had a variety of designs, textiles, and fabrics. The result of the research was to develop additional inner protective equipment for lumbar herniated intervertebral disc patients. Second, the survey results of the forty patients with disc disease were that housewives were the most vulnerable. All patients had experience purchasing lumbar pads. The prevention of pain and stress were the most selected responses for the motivation to buy lumbar pads. Most individuals said that they used lumbar pads for less than 1 year. Dissatisfaction came from fabric, activity and design. ‘Being uncomfortable to wear’ was the most common complaint. ‘Protection and how easy the clothes were to wear’ were the most selected for the necessity of developments. The Inner wear shape was the most selected in shape. Except for six respondents, all favored the lumbar protective inner wear design.

사용량 기반의 모바일 메뉴 최적화 : 요일제 메뉴 기발을 통한 모바일 서비스 이용 활성화

People are experiencing severe navigation problems in mobile site. Relatively limited research, however, has been conducted on mobile site navigation compared to web site navigation. This research aims to identify efficient mobile site navigation aids for timely preferred contents. It proposed timely menu system based on statistic data, and evaluates its efficiency through commercial beta test. We conducted a beta test in the fourth quarter of the year 2007, The total number of user is 12,000. The average number of PV (page view) by the experimental group was increased to 10% more than control group. Our results indicate that timely menu system helps people navigate mobile menu system more effectively. 모바일 메뉴의 최적화를 위해 본 논문에서는 기존 모바일 메뉴를 요일별 사용행태를 분석하였고 이를 통해 모바일 서비스를 사용하는 사용자들이 요일별로 특정 서비스를 선호하는 현상을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 기반으로 요일별로 고객이 주로 사용하는 서비스 메뉴를 분류 및 선정하는 과정을 거쳐 고객의 이용 목적에 부합되도록 주초, 주중, 주말 별 차별화된 메뉴를 계공하기로 하였다. 차별화된 메뉴 개발을 위해 기존 모바일 메뉴에 Bold, Color, Icon 등의 효과의 차별화를 주는 다양한 시안을 개발하였고 고객 설문조사를 통해 이들 중 가장 효과적인 시안을 선택을 하였다. 최종 선택된 시안은 Color 및 Icon 효과를 메뉴에 제공하는 것이었다. 실계 사용 메뉴 시스템에 이를 적용하기 전에 실계 고객군과 동일한 Sampling 통해 선정된 12,000 여명의 고객을 대상으로 사전에 해당 시안을 제공하는 사전 파일럿 테스트를 한 달간 시행하였다. 효과에 대한 검증은 12,000 여명의 실험군과 함께 동일한 방법으로 선정된 12,000 명의 대조군과 비교하는 방식으로 이루어졌으며, 측정방식은 PV(page view), 구매율, 매출 등을 비교하여 실험군 및 대조군 간의 증감을 비교하였으며 테스트 결과 실험군이 대조군 대비 사용량 기준으로 약 10% 정도의 개선효과를 보여, 계안된 메뉴가 효과적임을 증명하였다.

The species composition of the fish community was studied in four streams where fish kills have previously occurred in recent years; Worun Stream, Seo Stream, Jangnam Stream, and the Anyang Stream. The number of fish species varied from 22 to 86% compared to the number of fish species pre-fish kill. The recovery of fish populations in the streams seems to be determined by water quality and the presence of artificial structures in the streams. The Jangnam Stream, where alkaline pH caused a fish kill, showed a high recovery of fish species due to improvements in water quality. Anyang Stream had a low number of species, possibly because dissolved oxygen concentrations were intermittently low. Artificial structures in streams had a negative impact the recovery of fish species, particularly for benthic fish species. It appears that fish populations can recover rapidly when water quality improves or the movement of fish community is unimpeded. However, water quality and artificial structures in many streams in Korea still present adverse conditions for fish survival, deterring the recovery of fish populations. To conserve fish populations in streams, habitat all owing unimpeded movement for fish and controls on pollutant inputs are needed.
