Objective: The purpose of this study is to compare the effects of Dong-si acupuncture therapy and General acupuncture therapy for the patients with acute ankle sprain. Methods : This study has been carried out for 60 cases of ankle sprain patients who have visited Dong-Seo Oriental medical Hospital from May 1, 2002 to September 30, 2002. We have treated 30 cases of them by Dong-si acupuncture therapy and the other 30 cases by General acupuncture therapy. And we have compared those two group. Results : 1. There was no significant difference at the treatment period and the number of treatment times in comparing two groups. 2. The number of treatment times for good effect is that : Dong-si took $1.57{\pm}0.85$ times and General acupuncture therapy took $2.15{\pm}0.96$ times. And we have found that the effect of Dong-si acupuncture therapy is faster than the other.

Objective : The aim of this research was to investigate the depressive effect of depletion of B15(心兪), B23(腎兪), L5(尺澤), B40(委中) in hypertentive stroke patients. Methods : Depletion on B15(心兪), B23(腎兪), L5(尺澤), B40(委中) in hypertentive stroke patient who were admitted in Dong-Seo Oriental Medical Hospital every other day form 4 weeks, without western antihypertensive drug. Results : After treatment in 2nd week, depletion on B15(心兪), B23(腎兪), L5(尺澤), B40(委中) without western antihypertensive drug increased the systolic and diastolic blood pressure. After treatment in 4th week, depletion on B15(心兪), B23(腎兪), L5(尺澤), B40(委中) without western antihypertensive drug decreased the systolic and diastolic blood pressure. After treatment in 4th week, values of RBC and hemoglobine were not significantly changed. Conclusions : Continous depletion on B15(心兪), B23(腎兪), L5(尺澤), B40(委中) in hypertentive stroke patient without western antihypertensive drug implies decreasement of blood pressure, without change of values of RBC and hemoglobine.

According to the standards for district heating substation established by Korea District Heating Corporation, water heating supply systems at over 150 Mcal/h capacity must employ the 2-stage heat exchanger that improves the system efficiency by reusing the heat included in the return water of district heating system already used for space heating. In this paper, the operating characteristics of the system in accordance with the load distribution of two heat exchangers for pre-heating and re-heating cold city water are investigated. The results including mass flow rate, return temperature etc. help to manage district heating system economically.

In the present study, the simulation for the annual operation of the fuel cell driven ground source heat pump system is conducted to provide the material to appraise the possibility of application of this system. The large building equipped with a heat pump system is selected as the subject of the simulation. Large buildings have the economical advantage using heat pump systems due to large load of heating and cooling. The COP for this system is affected by the load of heating and cooling and the heat source temperature. The load of heating and cooling varies with the location and direction of the building. And the operation for a long period brings about the ground temperature variation. The results show the COP variation in various conditions and operating costs of the fuel cell driven ground source heat pump system.
과제 및 자아 지향적 체육수업 분위기의 효과: 학생 행동분석

본 연구는 과제지향적 분위기(TIC)와 자아지향적(EIC) 분위기 향상을 위한 수업지도 프로그램이 학생들의 체육 수업행동에 미치는 효과를 비교 분석하는데 목적을 두었다. Ames(1992)가 제안한 TARGET 구조(과제, 권위, 인정, 평가, 집단, 시간)를 토대로 개발된 TIC와 EIC 프로그램은 체육수업(농구수업)에 참여하고 있는 중학생 2개 반 학생들(TIC: 37명)과 EIC 프로그램(36명)에게 15회에 걸쳐 적용되었다. 마지막 15회 수업의 학생행동들(적절한 활동, 부적절한 활동, 협력학습, 인식, 과제관련, 비과제관련, 동료학습, 대기시간)은 컴퓨터 행동분석 프로그램(BEST)을 사용하여 비교 분석되었다. 학생 수업행동 분석결과에 따르면, TIC 집단이 적절한 운동행동, 인지적 행동, 과제관련 행동, 동료학습에서 EIC 집단 보다 높은 행동빈도와 지속시간을 나타내었다. 이에 반해, EIC 집단은 TIC 집단 보다 부적절한 운동행동, 과제비관련, 대기시간에서 높은 지속시간을 나타내고 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 과제지향적 분위기가 자아지향적 분위기보다 더욱 적응적인 성취행동과 연관돼 있다는 성취목표 이론의 예상을 지지하고 있다. The purpose of this study was to verify the applicability of the task(TIC) and ego-involving(EIC) teaching program on students` behaviors in a physical education setting. Based on the TARGET structures(task, authority, recognition, grouping, evaluation, and time), TIC and EIC programs being used in the PE Classes were developed. The students in intact classes were assigned into TIC(n=37) and EIC(n=36) programs in PE classes (basketball lessons) over five weeks(three times a week). Their eight class behaviors(appropriate activity, inappropriate activity, cooperative learning, recognition, task-relevant behavior, task-irrelevant behavior, peer learning, waiting time) were video-taped at the last PE class, and were analyzed by the computerized behavioral assessment technique(BEST). The results of behavioral analyses exhibited that peer learning was the most frequently observed behavior among students in TIC program classe, while task irrelevant behavior was the most frequently observed behavior among students in EIC program classe. These results were discussed with practical approach of the achievement goal theory.
지역난방 시스템의 설계 최적화를 위한 콤팩트 유닛의 해석 프로그램 개발

In the present study the analysis program of the compact unit, the district heating substation, has been developed. Because of the various advantages, such as a cooperation with other energy systems, district heating system is utilized throughout the world where is particularly in large demand of heat and hot water. To make the advantages of the system greater, the optimum design and operation are required. The simulation using this analysis program gives the information about operation including mass flow rate, temperature, heat transfer coefficients etc. which must meet the standards established by district heating supplier. This information helps engineers to design and operate the district heating system that is more economic and environmental-friendly.

In the present study, performances of fuel cell driven compound source hybrid heat pump system applied to a large community building are simulated. Among several renewable energy sources, ground, river, sea, and waste water sources are chosen as available alternative energies. The performance and energy cost are varied with the hybrid heat pump sources. The system design and operation process appropriate for the surrounding circumstance guarantee the high benefit of the heat pump system applied to a large community building. Th system is driven by fuel cell system instead of the late-night electricity due to the advantages of the low energy cost and waste heat with high temperature.

This paper proposes maximum torque control of IPMSM drive using multi model reference adaptive fuzzy controller(MFC) and artificial neural network(ANN). This control method is applicable over the entire speed range which considered the limits of the inverter's current and voltage rated value. For each control mode, a condition that determines the optimal d-axis current id for maximum torque operation is derived. This paper considers the design and implementation of novel technique of high performance speed control for IPMSM using multi-MFC and ANN controller. The hybrid combination of neural network and fuzzy control will produce a powerful representation flexibility and numerical processing capability. Also, this paper proposes maximum control of IPMSM drive using approximation method. This method is decreased the burden of digital signal process(DSP) in calculation of optimal current. This paper proposes the analysis results to verify the effectiveness of the MFC and ANN controller. Also it verifies the validity of maximum torque control of IPMSM drive with approximation method.

It is unavoidable that the fuel spray impinges on the wall of piston cavity in a compact high-pressure D.I. diesel engine. Therefore the characteristics of impinging spray are the very significant information on the consideration and the simulation of its combustion processes including the formation mechanism of exhaust emission and the design of the combustion chamber. In this paper, the numerical simulation was performed to study the characteristics of impinging spray. The spray-wall impingement model used is Watkins and Park's model. Calculation parameters are the inclination angles and the ambient pressures. As the inclination angle increases, the impinging spray develops mainly to the direction of the downstream and scarcely flows to that of the upstream. The shape on the wall of the impinging spray is the circle in the case of the normal impingement, while it is the ellipse in that of the oblique impingement. As the ambient pressure increases, the growth of impinging spray on the wall in the radial direction decreases owing to the increase in the resistance of the ambient.
