The production, processing and distribution of information is fast becoming a major economic activity for many nations of the world. The basic idea of this study is that knowledge and information are becoming the strategic resources and transforming agents in the information society. The purpose of this study is to fulfil two major objectives with regard to the analysis of the information sector in the information society. (1) This study investigates an empirical study of the information sector both the information work force, and information goods and services of the selected nations. (2) It advances theoretical explanations of the major factors of the growth of the information sector, and develops a new classification model of the information society. 인류사회는 산업사회로부터 정보사회로 진입을 위한 기로에 서 있다. 정보의 생산, 처리, 유통 및 분배는 빠른 속도로 모든 국가의 중요한 경제활동으로 인식되고 있으며, 지식과 정보가 정보사회 도래의 결정적 매체로 작용하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 정보화 현상에 따른 정보부문 성장의 실제적 측정, 분석 및 그 주요 요인에 대한 이론적 설명과 더불어 새로운 정보사회 분류 모델 개발을 시도하고 있다.
선도 산림경영단지 사업투자에 대한 경제성 분석 - 전라남도 순천시 사례를 중심으로 -

본 연구는 순천시 선도 산림경영단지를 대상으로 사업투자에 대한 경제성 분석을 통해 향후 산림경영계획 수립에 대한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 이를 위해 경제성 분석 지표인 NPV와 IRR 분석을 실시하였다. 경제성 분석 결과, 사업 10년차에서의 NPV는 241.9백만원, IRR는 8.5%로 선도 산림경영단지에 대한 사업투자는 경제성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 사업이 장기화 될수록 NPV가 지속적으로 증가하기 때문에 선도 산림경영단지에 대한 투자는 단기적이기보다는 장기적인 관점에서 지속적으로 실시되어야 함을 알 수 있었다. 순천시 선도 산림경영단지는 사업투자에 대한 경제성 이외에도 사업기간 10년 동안 연간 3,000명(180일 기준)을 고용할 수 있기 때문에 일자리 창출 등 지역경제 활성화에도 크게 기여할 것으로 판단된다. This study intended to provide basic data in relation to the establishment of a forest management plan in the future through the economic feasibility analysis on business investment regarding the leading forest management zone in Suncheon. For this, NPV and IRR analyses were performed to obtain indices for economic feasibility analysis. According to results, NPV in the tenth year into the business was estimated at 241.9 million won and IRR, 8.5%, which indicated that the business investment in the leading forest management zone in Suncheon is economically feasible. In addition, NPV is estimated to increase continuously as the business persists and it indicated that the investment in the leading forest management zone shall be made continuously with a long-term perspective rather than for a short term. Apart from the economic feasibility of business investment, the leading forest management zone in Suncheon is expected to make an immense contribution to the revitalization of local economy by creating jobs as it is expected to hire 3,000 people a year (180 days) during the project period which spans ten years.
폐열온도에 따른 축열식 이중원통다관형 열교환기의 축열 및 방열 특성

In recent era, the energy and environmental issues increases the interests, and many researches were undergone to recover unused energy in the form waste heat. This unused energy that occurs mostly from manufacturing processes and power generation industries. The present system is a regenerative evaporator for high temperature waste heat recovery that includes a heat storage tank in a double cylindrical tubular shape heat exchanger having phase change material (PCM), and triple heat transfer is possible. Basic experiments were carried out to confirm the heat storage and release characteristics of the regenerative heat exchanger. As a result of the experiment, we confirmed the change of the temperature and flow rate of the waste heat to the heat storage/release function of the regenerative heat exchanger and the influence on the thermal interference. This experimental result tries to utilize it as the design data of the regenerative evaporator of the high temperature heat pump (HTHP) which generates steam good enough for recovering waste heat.

The cold chain system in South-East Asia is requiring to maintain freshness of refrigerated or frozen food. In this study, Thermal storage system using Phase change material (PCM) was developed and evaluated its performance about temperature and cold keeping time. For various application of cold chain system, we developed portable cold box, cold roll container and freezing station. Keeping time on laboratory tests of portable cold box in case of refrigeration and freezing were 6 hours and 4 hours, respectively. Cold container was developed to 2.5 ton scale. Evaluation in Indonesia, it was showed to keep the setting temperature of $-10^{\circ}C$ over 40 hours at $30^{\circ}C$ of ambient air. Freezing station using PCM was kept over 24 hours under $-20^{\circ}C$.
태양전지와 LED 조명을 이용한 가정용식물공장 시스템 실증시험

Plant factory industry as a new agriculture is in the spotlight. In this paper, we experimented plant factory applied photovoltaic system and LED lighting. For growing the plant, red, blue and white LED were placed into 1:4:3. Electric power generated by the photovoltaic system was supplied on DC power supply instead of AC. The designed and experimented power generation amount per day of photovoltaic system were 2,860 Wh and 2,272 Wh respectively. Plant has not been grown at the dead space of LED lighting so it is required to array LED lighting.
