        낙도보조항로 이용자의 서비스 만족도에 관한 실증연구

        이 연구에서는 낙도보조항로의 운영현황과 선박이용자의 서비스 만족도를 실증분석 하였다. 특히 낙도보조항로 선박 이용자를 중심으로 1,000부의 설문지를 배포하여 서비스 만족도 정도를 심층 분석하였다는데 그 의미를 부여할 수 있겠다. 전체 만족도를 분석한 결과 5점 만점에 약 2.8점 정도로 보통수준보다 약간 상회한 것으로 조사됐다. 낙도보조항로를 이용하는 이용자들의 서비스 만족도 정도가 그리 높지 않음을 알 수 있다. 낙도보조항로 중장기 발전방향 수립시 이들 내용이 충분히 검토되어 정책에 반영될 수 있도록 정부 뒷받침이 요구된다. Current operating system and passenger satisfaction level of remote island route are examined in this study. A large quantity of survey was conducted among remote island route passengers and the result was examined in depth The survey result slightly exceeded average effectiveness rating; 2.8 based on a five-point scale was obtained. The survey shows that the service satisfaction level is not very high When long term remote island route development plan is established, a support from the government is expected for survey result to reflect on the development plan.

        내항선안전관리체제 운영의 내실화 방만에 관한 연구

        우리 정부와 해운기업은 해상에서의 인명 및 환경보호를 위해 노력하고 있지만 아직까지 내항선에서의 안전관리가 미흡하여 내항선에 맞는 체계적이고 현실적인 안전관리체제 운영의 내실화 방안이 절실하다. 본 논문은 관련기관 및 해운기업에 설문조사를 하였으며, 실증분석을 통하여 현 내항선안전관리의 문제점을 파악하고 개선하여 우리나라 내항해운에 적합한 안전관리체제의 내실화 방안을 제시하고자 한다. We badly need the plans to promote practical and systematic utilization of safety management system as the safety management in coasters is not yet sufficient although the government and shipping companies are making efforts to protect human life and environment in ocean. This thesis executed questionnaire survey on related organizations and shipping companies followed by proof analysis and suggest plans to make it useful safety management system suitable to coastal marine transport of the country through grasping and improving the points of problems in current safety management on coastwise vessels.

      • 광양컨테이너터미널의 경쟁력 향상을 위한 항만 마케팅 전략에 관한 연구

        The marketing for the ports which were considered as a matter of no importance in the past is now becoming a prominent figure for the ports management and operation as there is keen competition in the container ports domestically and internationally. This competition will be increasing as the countries of the world is trying to construct container port in their own territory because it would produce new employment and value added as well as making additional effects to develop the service industry and the manufacturing industry related to the ports. To activate and to try to attract domestic and foreign enterprises Kwang-Yang ports, there needs the overall and continuous marketing strategy to work on positive lines to distinguish their image about the project and to differentiate them from the domestic or the international competitors. Although Kwang-Yang ports has geopolitical advantage in comparison with any other ports, there must be efforts than other competitive ports' around the world to make Kwang-Yang ports as the center of the ports in the far east on the facilities, operating condition and quality of services. By SWOT, the systematic approach for marketing policy of Kwang-Yang port was made. The summery of marketing strategy in this thesis are as fallows; First, Kwang-Yang ports must be given to functional as the capital manufacturing region of new industrial area. Second, self-sufficient local economic bloc should be built up. Third, the function of Kwang-Yang port must be strengthen to be center of the circum-pan-Pacific trade. If the economic cooperation of North and South Korea would grow, and if restoration of broken railroad from Seoul to Sineuijoo and from Seoul to Wonsan which means the terminus of transcontinental railway from Asia to Europe would be made, the importance of Kwang-Yang ports would increase. Forth, urban areas related to concept of megalopolis should be developed, and overall consolidation and extensive expansion of net transportation should be completed. Kwang-Yang ports has to attain competitive superiority as a port of transhipment for the activation of it Especially, to specialize Kwang-Yang ports to be port of transhipment, the port sales should improve as a part of strategy to make Kwang-Yang port the capital harbor in 21st century.

      • 物的流通의 範圍에 관한 硏究

        Physical Distribution has a variety of its definition which cause a dispute due to its scope. The definition of the National Council of Physical Distribution which is one of the largest and most prestigious groups of distribution professionals with a membership in excess of 3,000 in America, includes the similar terms and is adequate to get the supply of the right product at the right place at the right time in the right condition for the right cost to those customers consuming the product. The definition of the National Council of Physical Distribution is the answer to solve the dispute accordingly. The scope of Physical Distribution in Japan accept the above definition, however the scope of Japanese Physical Distribution shows to make difference in some points from necessity of the government's Physical Distribution administration and Physical Distribution statistical research. Korea should refer to Japanese case for the purpose of the government's Physical Distribution adminstration and accept the scope of the definition of the National Council of Physical Distribution to rationalize the firms.

From this time forth, the approach to the physical distribution oriented the marketing is necessary to advance the physical distribution highly. As of now, the key subject of the physical distribution is how the compay accept it accordingly. It is very important to work towards a closer liaison between a person in charge of the marking and the physical distribution. However, they are interested in the products delivered as per order. Many companies has an increasingly hostile competitive environment and a major competive factor through organizing to achieve the desired result. If a person in charge o f the marketing can be aware of the importance of the physical distribution and use it, a new vista of business success is awatiting.

        Nowadays the fast increase of the Physical Distribution Costs raised its head in this country. The Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry presents the results of analyzing the actual conditions in connection with the physical distribution costs of 513 manufactures which bore the physical distribution expenses as much as 14.4 percent on their gross sales. This considerable physical distribution costs are double Americans' and 1.5 times Japanese' respectively. The above costs should be cut down for the strategics of prices and international competetive power of domestic industries in Korea. The solutions to increase competiveness of the physical distribution under the rapidly changhing social circumstances are as follows: 1. The efficiency of physical distribution in the distribute channles should be in proved. 2. The strategic physical distribution service for sales elevation is expected to be very important in the light of the tremendous increment of physical distribution costs under the circumstances changed by the consumer's requests. 3. It is necessary for Korean firms to rationalize were housing to make better international competive power. A prior condition on its rationalization should be kept the maintenance of customer's service level concerning the trade terms such as time and unit of delivery.

        Packaging fulfils three basic functions, either singly or in combination. These are containment, protection, and identification. They are all important about physical distribution, but followings should be checked out for specific reasons. 1) To protect goods against breakage, contamination, or distortion. 2) To reduce the cube, and thereby cut freight costs. 3) to facilitate handling and storage. 4) To group goods into a convenient unit for distribution. 5) To prevent pilfering. Packaging is a problem of economics, and the first question must always be wether or not to package and to what extent to protect, to contain or to communicate. Standardization of packaging accelerates the efficiency of transportation, cargo work, and enables the combined transportation. Packaging is one of the most systemic of all physical distribution activities. Packaging is also closely tied to choice of transportation mode, and varying packaging costs are one part of the equation as shipper looks for a low total-cost solution. Choice of packaging is related to many recycling issues.
