        미용 서비스 실패 유형이 고객만족에 미치는 영향

        The aim of this study was to conduct a theoretical examination of the relationship between three factors - namely, the service failure type, the customer satisfaction, and the service recovery justice –, and to suggest some practical considerations for managers of beauty shops to improve the management of their shops. The results of this study demonstrate that a practical recovery system is required not only to respond to customers’ needs, but also to convert risks into opportunities by increasing customer satisfaction in highly risky situations of service failure. The findings also show that profit generation through an increase in customer satisfaction requires intermittent marketing efforts around service quality increase, as well as fair and active claim management in cases of service failures. Therefore, beauty service companies need to put service recovery strategies in place to be able to deal with service failures effectively. It is also worth noting that in events of service failures, maximum positivity in customers’ emotions can be achieved by front-line staff when they are able to observe customers’ emotional changes promptly and to respond to them actively and with appropriate authority.

        미용학과 교수역량(Teaching Competency)이 직무만족과 이직의도와의 상관관계 연구

        The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of teaching competency in the beauty care department on job satisfaction and turnover intention. Gangwon, Among the professors of beauty care working in Chungcheong, Gyeongsang, Jeolla, and Seoul, 108 ones were selected including the ones in the tenure track and non-tenure track (school-work focus, exclusive charge in lecturing), part-time instructors, adjunct professors, and visiting professors to collect data, and SPSS 22 was employed to carry out frequency analysis, reliability analysis, multiple regression analysis, and one-way ANOVA. Based on the results above, we can conclude that research and expertise development as well as optimum working time, workload, and student care should be considered sufficiently in order to enhance the level of quality. This will lead to reducing the level of stress, elevating job satisfaction, and decreasing turnover intention in the instructors subsequently.

        미용학과를 입학한 대학생들의 입시준비 실태에 관한 연구

        This study investigated what applicants for department of Cosmetology have prepared before entering universities and how it influenced satisfaction after entering universities. Verified findings from these study hypotheses are summarized as follows. First, the hypothesis that application motive may affect university examination demonstrated that preference motive as a subfactor of application motive did not affect the examination. However, it had positive impacts on preference. Second, they hypothesis that application motive will affect department satisfaction found that preference motive as a subfactor of application motive showed negative impacts, yet it was rejected due to the absence of significance. However, it affected positively on preference influence. Third, the hypothesis that university examination will affect department satisfaction confirmed that school as a subfactor of university examination was rejected and private institute showed a positive influence. Therefore, this study intends to propose the following recommendation to activate cosmetics-related education in middle and high schools. Institutional support is indispensable to carry out a joint operation of special cosmetics programs between middle, high schools and universities along with active educational strategy in a single middle and high school.

        퍼머넌트 웨이브 시술 시 누리장나무(Clerodendron trichotomum) 추출물 트리트먼트 처리에 따른 모발보호효과

        This study was conducted to examine the effects of manufactured treatment with the Clerodendron trichotomum extract and general treatment with the Clerodendron trichotomum extract on virgin hair damage mitigation during pre-processing of permanent waves. The control group, C’s tensile strength was 95.16 ± 4.06 gf/mm<sup>2</sup>, and NP1’s tensile strength was 128.56 ± 11.62 gf/mm<sup>2</sup>, which was the highest value. B1 and NI had the lowest values and their tensile strength was 124.31 ± 8.75 gf/mm<sup>2</sup> and 115.23 ± 6.28 gf/mm<sup>2</sup> respectively. The difference between BP1 and N1 was 13.33 gf/mm<sup>2</sup>. The control group, C’s hair thickness was .0263 ± .0011 mm, and BP1’s hair thickness was .0293 ± .0014 mm that was the biggest value. NP1’s hair thickness was .0244 ± .0013 mm that was the lowest value, and the difference between BP1 and NP1 was 0.049 mm. The control group, C had very damaged cuticles. Compared to C, in BP1, the space between cuticles was wide due to eliminated cuticles and cuticles were severely damaged due to wear of many cuticles. Also, BP1’s fine structure was measured at 474.30 ± 3.849 nm. NP1’s fine structure was measured at 455.45 ± 5.859 nm, and the control group, C was measured at 389.72 ± 5.783 nm, which was the lowest value. The difference between BP1 and C was 84.58 nm. When components of sulfur were analyzed using EDS, BP1’s sulfur content was 12.05, which was the highest value, and C’s sulfur content was 9.44 that was the lowest value. Therefore, the difference in sulfur content was 2.61.

        미용학과 대학생의 일반적 특성에 따른 자기효능감과 전공만족도 연구

        The present research aimed to investigate the effect of cosmetology department students’ self-efficacy on their satisfaction with their major study. We surveyed 416 cosmetology students from 4-year colleges located in Gangneung, Iksan, and Cheongju regions.. T-test and one-way ANOVA were employed in this study analysis. First, it was found that self-efficacy caused significant difference in cognitive efficacy, emotional efficacy and social efficacy. The graduates of high schools showed significant difference in emotional efficacy and social efficacy. The students’ reasons for selecting the major were examined. Results showed that cognitive efficacy and social efficacy had significant differences. The difference between the important subjects in education was also examined. Results revealed that emotional efficacy, social efficacy and cognitive efficacy showed significant differences. Second, the difference between school years was investigated. Major satisfaction and class satisfaction were found to have significant differences. Difference between the major studies was examined. Class satisfaction and study satisfaction showed significant difference. Any difference with respect to graduated high schools was investigated, and it was found that study satisfaction and class satisfaction had significant difference. The reasons of selecting the major were looked into and, as a result, class satisfaction was found to have significant difference. Difference in regard to important subject in education was investigated and significant difference was found in all the class satisfaction, study satisfaction and cognitive satisfaction.

        누리장나무(Clerodendron trichotomum) 추출물 첨가 트리트먼트가 헤어 퍼머넌트 웨이브 시 모발보호효과에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of manufactured treatment with the Clerodendron trichotomum extract, which has a strong antioxidant effect and general treatment on hair damage mitigation in permanent waves. As a result, BP2`s tensile strength was 130.62 ± 8.72 gf/mm<sup>2</sup>, which was the highest value. BP2`s hair thickness was .0308 ± .0006 μm that was the biggest value. BP2`s hair moisturizing power was measured at 69.49 ± 0.17 % and BP2`s hair roughness was measured at 160.50 ± 43.503 nm. When 2D image and 3D image were observed, the third cuticle was eliminated, but overall, the surface of hair was even and clean. Lastly, the sulfur content of hair was measured using EDS. As a result, BP2`s sulfur content was 13.31%, which was the highest value. These results show that applying treatment in post- processing is more effective in protecting hair.

        The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of permanent wave treatment on hair damage mitigation according to the application time of manufactured treatment, using the Clerodendron trichotomum extract. As a result, the tensile strength of Control Group C was 95.16 ± 4.06 gf/㎜<sup>2</sup> and the tensile strength of BP2 was 128.56 ± 8.72 gf/㎜<sup>2</sup>, which was the highest value. Also, the tensile strengths of B1 and B2 were 124.31 ± 8.75 gf/㎜<sup>2</sup>, 124.31 ± 12.69 gf/㎜<sup>2</sup> that were the lowest values. The difference between BP2 and B1 and between BP2 and B2 was 4.25 gf/㎜<sup>2</sup>. The hair thickness of Control Group C was .0263 ± .0011 ㎜ and the hair thickness of BP2 was .0308 ± .0006 ㎜, which was the highest value. The hair thickness of B2 was .0277 ± .0008 ㎜ that was the lowest value and the difference between BP2 and B2 was .0031 mm. Compared to Control Group C, open cuticles and dropped cuticles were hardly found in BP2 and hair was smooth and glossy. In relation to fine structure of hair, also, the hair height of BP2 was 549.89 ± 8.161 ㎚ and the hair height of B1 was 430.64 ± 6.101 ㎚, which was the lowest value. The difference in height between BP2 and B1 was 119.25 nm. When components of sulfur were analyzed using EDS, the sulfur content of BP2 was 12.05, which was the highest value and the sulfur content of B1 was 9.92 that was the lowest value. The difference in sulfur content between BP2 and B1 was 2.13.

        화장품 소재 개발에 관한 누리장나무 (Clerodendrum trichotomum) 에탄올추출물의 생리활성

        The purpose of this study was to determine the potential of Clerodendrum trichotomum as a natural material for cosmetics by investigating the cytotoxicity and bioactivity of the ethanol extracts. The yield rate and phenol contents of ethanol extracts of Clerodendrum trichotomum were 3.85% and 53.266 mg/g, respectively. The electron donating ability was measured as 80.2% at 1000 μg/mL, suggesting that antioxidative activity increases as the density is increases. The inhibition rate at high density was similar with that of ascorbic acid, a control material. For the density of P. acnes, E. coli, S. epidermidis, and S. aureus, the longest ones were S. aureus (12 mm) in 1 mg/mL, S. epidermidis (15 mm) in 5 mg/mL, P. acnes and S. epidermidis (both 15 mm) in 10 mg/mL, and S. epidermidis (15 mm) in 20 mg/mL, respectively. The measurement of scavenging activity for the ABTS radical showed 97.264%, a value similar with those for Ascorbic acid and MTT assay measured by the survival rate of macrophage Raw 267.4 showed that the ethanol extracts of Clerodendrum trichotomum has no toxicity. The expression of iNOS decreased with the density over 100 μg/mL and the inhibiting effect for COX-2 was observed with the density over 300 μg/mL. These results showed that the ethanol extracts of Clerodendrum trichotomum has high potential as a raw material of natural cosmetics and this study is expected to provide fundamental date for the application.

        열 펌 시술 시 렌틸콩 추출물의 적용량과 적용시점에 따른 모발보호효과

        This study attempted to investigate the hair-protection effects of Lens culinaris extract by the time and amount of its application during a heat perm through its great antioxidant activities. For this, testees were divided into two groups: P group (5%, 10% and 15% Lens culinaris extract added to the reducing agent) and J group (5%, 10% and 15% Lens culinaris extract added to the oxidant). Then, the following was analyzed with the hair: tensile strength, thickness, cuticle, components and ingredients. The results found the following: In terms of tensile strength, the P1 group was the highest with 153.19 ± 23.00, followed by the J1 group (124.80 ± 21.71). In hair thickness, the P2 group was 0.038 ± 0.009 mm while the J1 group showed results (0.040 ± 0.003mm) closest to healthy hair. In cuticle conditions, P1 showed 432.660 nm ± 12.283 while J1 was 427.880 ± 12.051 nm. In J1, some slight cuticle degradation and exfoliation were observed. Compared to the control group, however, J1 showed a relatively consistent cuticle and stable pattern. According to analysis of components, J1 was the highest with 9.17 Wt% while P1 was 9.13 Wt% in sulfur contents, which means that Lens culinaris extract makes up for sulfur. The said results prove that an addition of Lens culinaris extract during digital perms would reduce hair damage. In particular, the addition of 5% Lens culinaris extract to the oxidant appears to be more effective in hair protection.
