        Paraquat를 투여한 생쥐 간에서 홍삼 사포닌의 항상화 효소 활성과 전기영동에 관한 연구

        ICR계 주령 생쥐에 PQ를 투여한 후 TS, PD, PT를 경구 투여하여 생쥐 간에 미치는 항산화 효소(SOD, CAT)활성 증대 효과를 알아보기 위하여 효소 활성도와 전기영동상밴드의 변화를 조사하였다. SOD의 활성은 PQ+PD 투여군, CAT의 활성은 PQ+PD 투여군이 활성화되었으며, SOD isozyme은 전기영동상에서 3개의 밴드를 나타내었는데 이중 한 개의 밴드는 음극에 가까이 위치하고 다른 2개의 밴드는 양극 쪽에 위치하였고, KCN 처리한 결과 Cu, Zn-SOD는 음극 쪽에 위치한 반면 Mn-SOD는 양극쪽에 있었다. 이러한 결과를 종합하여 볼때 홍삼 사포닌의 항산화 효과는 항산화 효소인 SOD, CAT의 직접적인 작용으로 인하여 산화적 손상에 대한 보호 능력을 증대시큰 것으로 생각된다. This study examined effects of the active ingredients from ginseng on paraquat(PQ) toxitity. Mice were given PQ(25mg/kg, ip) and then they were given total saponins (TS; 5mg/kg, orally), protopanaxadiol (PD; 5mg/kg, orally) and protopanaxatriol(PT; 5mg/kg, orally) per day for periods of 1,3 & 7 days. We measured the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), electrophoretic isozyme band, catalase (CAT) were compared in the liver of mouse that dose with PQ and/or TS, PD and PT. The activities of SOD, CAT were generally higher in PQ+PD group than others groups. Especially the activity of SOD was the highest in PQ+PD group than others groups. SOD isozyme separated into three bands by electrophoresis. One band was located to near the anode side and two bands were cathode side. As the results of treated with KCN, we were confiremed that the Cu, Zn-SOD was located to near the anode side but the Mn-SOD were cathode side. Our results suggested that an antioxidant effect of ginseng saponins elevated a protection ability to an oxidative damage by direct action of SOD, CAT and reinforced the synthetic ability of endogenous antioxidant material in living organism. Particularly, PD was a effective antioxidant compared with others.

        목과약침(木瓜藥鍼)이 후지체공(後肢滯空)으로 유발(誘發)된 근위축(筋萎縮) 흰쥐의 근섬유(筋纖維) 변화(變化)에 미치는 영향(影響)

        Objective : This experimental study was designed to investigate the effect of Chaenomelis fructus herbal acupuncture on the soleus muscle and tibialis anterior muscle of hindlimb-suspended rats. The measurement have been performed on the composition of type I, type IIa and type IIb muscle fibers in the soleus muscle and tibialis anterior muscie - histochemical study. Materials and Methods : Sprague-Dawley rats weighing about 250g were subjected to hindlimb suspension and divided into six groups; 1. Normal group: normai group 2. Control group: group of hindlimb suspension for 7 days 3. NT group: non-treatment group for 2 or 4 weeks after 7days of hindlimb suspension. 4. EX gtoup: running exercise group for 2 or 4 weeks after 7days of hindlimb suspension. 5. HA group: administration of Chaenomelis fructus herbal acupuncture during 2 or 4 weeks after 7 days of hindlimb suspension. 6. EXHA group: administration of Chaenomelis fructus herbal acupuncture and running exercise during 2 or 4 weeks after 7 days of hindlimb suspension. Results Results : 1. The composition of type I muscle fibers in the soleus muscle significantly increased in 2 or 4 weeks HA and EXHA groups more than control group, and the composition of type IIa muscle fibers in the soleus muscle significantly decreased in 2 or 4 weeks HA and EXHA goups more than control group. 2. The composition of type I muscie fibers in the tibialis anterior muscle significantly increased in 2 or 4 weeks HA and EXHA groups more than control group, and the composition of type IIb muscle fibers in the soleus muscle significantly decreased in 2 or 4 weeks HA and EXHA groups more than control group. 3. The size of type I muscle fibers in the soleus muscle significantly increased in 2 or 4 weeks HA and EXHA groups more than control group, and the size of type IIa muscle fibers in the soleus muscle significantly increased in 2 weeks EXHA group and 4 weeks HA and EXHA groups more than control group. 4. The size of type I, IIa muscle fibers in the tibialis anterior muscle significantly increased in 2 or 4weeks HA, EXHA and EX groups more than control group, and the size of type IIb muscle fibers significantly increased in 2 weeks EXHA group and 4 weeks HA, EXHA and EX groups more than control group. 5. The capiliaries number per fiber of muscle fibers in the soleus and tibialis anterior muscle showed no differences in all experimental groups more than control group. Conclusion : According to the above results, it is shown that Chaenomelis fructus herbal acupuncture could be effective in the treatment of muscle atrophy.

        평판형 히이트파이프식 집열기의 전열효과

        형상비가 다른 평판형 히이트파이프 집열기 전열 효과를 실험적, 수치해석적으로 연구하였다. 실험은 4 종류의 종횡비가 다른 평판형 히이트파이프를 제작하여 작동유체의 혼합비, 작동유체의 량에 따라 전열 효과를 비교검토 하였다. 형상비가 1 인 경우 소량의 작동유체 등 극한의 조건에서 안전운전이 가능하며 형상비가 증가하면 증가할수록 증기건조 위치는 낮은 입열량에서도 나타났다. 실험값과 수치해석값의 비교는 비교적 잘 일치하였고 수치해석만으로 전열 효과를 예견할 수 있었다. 무차원 열저항비(h_(av)L/k_s)에 대한 전영역의 열저항은 열전도율이 증가하면 직선적으로 감소하고, 열전달 계수가 증가하면 지수적으로 감소하였다. 계산범위 내에서 열전율 (ks) 50W/mk, 열전달계수 (hev) 2000(W/㎡)이하 일때 변화는 매우 완만하게 감소 경향으로 나타났다. The purpose of the research is to study the effect of heat transfer on flat heat pipe with the quadrilteral shape by the experimental and numerical studies. Numerical analysis was performed by finite element method for the prediction of the effect of heat transfer on flat heat pipe. In case of C type collector, when shape rate is 1, evaportional thermal resistance appeared to be the lowest, and stable driving was possible operating condition with small quantity. Within experimental scale, the thermal resistance decreases as the sealed working fluid increase. In case of using the mixed water and methanol as working fluid, evaportional resistance were surveyed to be the lowest in the Mol. rate of 0.5. A comparison between the experimental and the numerical results show qualitatively agreement and it was able to predict the performance of flat heat pipe collector. The ratio of resistance, (hev L)/Ks in order to know the effect of heat transfer on flat heat pipe was show to decrease by increase of heat transfer coefficient in vapor region, and with higher conductivity of container, Ks.

        로타리 킬른의 장입 특성이 온도분포에 미치는 영향

        A theoretical model was developed for rotary kiln and computational study was conducted to find the effect of feeding characteristics. One dimensional model with the variations of heating distribution, length of heating zone, excess air ratio and revolution was considered. The comparison of parallel-flow rotary kiln with that of counter-flow was conducted. For parallel-flow type, it is found that the variation of temperature of solid is not great for the zone that is following flame-heating zone. This zone is good to take the special treatment because thermal deviation is small and contacting time is enough for another treatment. Increase of excess air ratio have the effect of decreasing solid temperature. But this effect of decreasing solid temperature goes small for the great excess air ratio. The heating is efficient for the flame which has the maximum heating at the central region of the full length.

        A computational study on the fire in compartment rooms which are connected in serial have been carried out. The central room and two neighbouring rooms exchange gases through openings and the fire takes place at the bottom of central room. The positions of openings were considered as the prime parameter affecting the characteristics of fire. The result shows that the reverse flow is found around the lower part of openings which locates between the burning room and neighbouring rooms. The developing of reverse flow is fast in the case of upper openings. As the opening goes down to the lower position, the developing of reverse flow is delayed.

        Combustion and NOx emission characteristics of LPG, DME and LPG/DME blended fuel were experimentally investigated on the counterflow non-premixed flame. In order to understand the combustion and NOx emission characteristics of LPG, DME and LPG/DME blended fuel in the counterflow diffusion flame, the photo of the shape and location of flame, the flame temperature, NOx concentration and OH radical were measured. And types of LPG and DME content ratio varied in the from butane100% to butane75%+propane25% and from 0 to 100mole%, respectively. These results indicated that the Combustion and NOx emission characteristics of DME were different with those of LPG. As the DME content ratio increased, the location of flame was shifted toward the air nozzle side and the flame thickness increased. Moreover as the DME content ratio increased, the maximum temperature of flame increased. However NOx concentration and profile of OH radical decreased with increase of DME content ratio.

        DME continues to be considered as an alternative fuel for replacement of conventional hydrocarbon fuels. Moreover, DME has been specially considered as substitutive fuel of LPG since the physical and chemical characteristics of DME are similar to those of LPG. In this study, combustion and NOx emission characteristics of LPG, DME and LPG/DME blended fuel were experimentally investigated on the counterflow non-premixed flame. The experimental results indicated that the combustion characteristics varied with the variation of DME mole fraction in LPG. As the DME mole fraction increased, the flame thickness increased, the flame length decreased and the maximum temperature of flame increased due to fast pyrolysis or reaction of DME during fuel residence time in counterflow system and reduction of radiative heat loss from relatively less amount of soot caused by high oxygen content of DME. However NOx concentration decreased with increasing of DME mole fraction for all LPG types.
