        선풍기 기류에 대한 이미지와 쾌적감 평가

        The aim of this research is to find out what kind of wind people prefers when they use electric fan in summer. For achieving this goal, we explored the image of comfortable wind by clarifying subjects’ image structure to breeze from electric fans. The chamber experiment was conducted with 26 people and the questionnaire about airflow image was constructed by integrating the previous researches. The results of this study are as follows. First, right after turning on the fan, subjects felt the highest air comfort. Second, as a result of factor analysis to determine image structure of wind from electric fan, four factors were derived; ‘Preference & tactility’, ‘Speed & clarity’, ‘Movement’, and ‘Humidity’. Among them, ‘Movement’ factor’s reliability score was low for the airflow image evaluation. Therefore, the questionnaire for air image needs to be modified. Finally, people felt comfortable anytime when the airflow gave them openness and fresh feeling. On the other hand, soft and light feeling airflow could not make people comfortable in early stage, but it gradually gave them comfortable feeling as time passed. Therefore it will allow users to be provided better comfort continuously, developing a fan algorithm which is changing over time.

        The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of indoor temperature on occupants’ attention skill for a thermal space design. To achieve the purpose, differences of occupants" attention affected by the indoor temperature were verified and occupants’ attention skills changed with time were analyzed. The temperature of chamber was controlled according to two levels. A slightly cool level was 20.5℃ and a neutral temperature level was 24.0℃. Subjects were 32 healthy males aged 21 to 29. They didn’t have any medical history of neuropsychiatric disorders. All subjects had academic performance for 70 minutes when their electroencephalograms (EEGs) were measured in each two different thermal environment. Brain waves were measured on seven spots (Fp1, Fp2, T3, T4, Cz, Fz, Pz) of the frontal lobe, the temporal lobe and the parietal lobe. Brain waves were sorted out according to the frequency using power spectrum analysis, and then that were used for the attention ((SMR+M.Beta)/Theta) analysis and the relative power analysis. As the result, a slightly cool thermal environment would be better than a neutral thermal environment for the occupants who perform the attention task. Thus, that result could be considered for children"s study rooms in a house, classrooms in a school, and working spaces in an office.

        도시지역 비만아의 비만도 개선과 관련된 요인

        연구배경: 최근 우리나라에서도 소아비만의 위험성을 인식하여 소아비만관리 프로그램을 시작하여 진행하고 있지만, 비만아의 비만도 개선과 관련된 요인에 대한 연구는 거의 없는 실정이다. 본 연구는 우리나라 도시지역의 비만아를 대상으로 비만도 개선과 관련된 요인을 알아보고자 하였다. 방법: 과천에서 진행되고 있는 소아 코호트의 1차년도와 2차년도 조사에 모두 참여했던 소아 421명 중 1차년도에 과체중이나 비만으로 진단받은 80명 (과체중: 58명, 비만 22명)을 연구 대상으로 하였다. 연구 대상자들을 남아 과체중군, 남아 비만군, 여아군으로 세 군으로 층화한 후, 각 군을 계산한 비만개선도에 따라 삼분위수로 나누고, 각 군의 최상위 삼분위군을 비만개선군으로 정의하였다. 비만아들에서 비만개선도에 영향을 주는 인자를 알아보기 위하여 카이제곱검정과 로지스틱 회귀 분석 등을 시행하였다. 결과: 가족인자 중 부모의 교육수준이 비만아의 비만도 개선과 관련이 있었다. 아버지의 학력이 대학 졸업 미만이라고 보고한 소아는 한 명도 비만개선군에 포함되지 않았고, 어머니의 학력이 대학 졸업 이상인 소아는 그렇지 못한 소아에 비해 비만개선군에 포함될 가능성이 높았다 (adjusted OR: 4.18) 생활습관 요인 중에서는 채소 섭취 빈도와, 걷는 시간이 비만아의 비만도 개선과 관련이 있었다. 채소를 매일 섭취한 소아 (adjusted OR: 2.88)와 매일 1시간 이상 걷는 소아 (adjusted OR: 3.37)가 그렇지 못한 소아에 비해 비만개선군에 포함될 가능성이 높았다. 결론: 비만아에서 비만도 개선은 부모의 학력, 채소 섭취빈도 걷는 시간과 관련이 있었다. 채소섭취를 증가시키는 것과 걷는 시간을 증가시키는 것은 비만아를 대상으로 하는 소아비만관리 프로그램의 중요한 전략이 될 수 있으며, 부모의 학력이 낮은 가정의 소아는 비만관리 프로그램 시행 시 관심과 이해가 필요한 취약계층이므로 프로그램 진행 시 이에 대한 고려가 필요하다. Background: The increasing prevalence of childhood obesity is one of important public health problems in Korea. Childhood obesity management programs have recently developed and progressed. However, it is not clear which factors are related to improvement of childhood obesity. This study was conducted to investigate the factors related to improving obesity in Korean obese children. Methods: First grade students from elementary schools in Gwacheon City were enrolled in the study in 2005. The study subjects (total 80 students; 52 boys and 28 girls) participated in the investigation of both 2005 and 2006 and were diagnosed as either overweight or obese in 2005, The degree of obesity improvement among the study subjects was estimated for a year. After stratifying study subjects into groups of overweight-boys, obesity-boys and girls, the improvement group was defined as the highest tertile of degree of obesity improvement of each group. Factors related to obesity improvement were analysed. Results: Children of college graduate parents manifested a greater improvement of obesity than children whose parents did not graduate from college. Daily intake of fresh vegetables and daily walking for over an hour were related to improvement of obesity. Adjusted odds ratio of consuming fresh vegetable daily was 2.88 (P-value <0.10) and adjusted odds ratio of walking over 1 hour daily was 3.37 (P-value <0.05). Conclusion: Parental education level, consumption frequency of fresh vegetable and walking hours were related to improvement of obesity in Korean obese children. These results should be considered in practicing childhood obesity management programs in Korea.

      • 여름철 생활환경온도가 온냉감평가에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 한국과 일본의 대학생을 대상으로 한 비교 실험연구 In case of Korean and Japanese College Students

        This documents people's comfort during a 24-hour period of typical daily life immediately followed by a standard climate chamber experiment. The objective of this study is to determine the influence of outdoor weather, expectation, adaptive behaviors and perceptions of comfort on indoor comfort. The surveys and measurements took place in August 2002 in Seoul, Korea and Yokohama, Japan, with 52 subjects carrying small, portable data loggers to record temperatures for a 24-hour period prior to entering a controlled climate chamber. This paper will discuss the preliminary results found for the first half of the experiment and a full paper will follow with subsequent analyses performed from the climate chamber results. Subjects spend more than 90% of their day indoors. During a 24-hour period, subjects were exposed to temperatures ranges of 15.6℃ to 37.4℃ in Seoul and from 16.5℃ to 33.8℃ in Yokohama. Sudden temperature changes (more than 5℃ difference for 10minutes) were recorded more than 3.5 times during the 24-hour period. In both countries subjects were more sensitive to temperature drops than temperature increases.
