The structural and leakage integrity of steam generator tubes should be sustained all postulated loads with appropriate margin even if a crack is present. During the past three decades, for effective integrity evaluation, several limit load solutions have been used world-widely. However, to predict accurately load carrying capacities of specific components under different conditions, the solutions have to be modified by using lots of experimental data. The purpose of this paper is to propose a new burst pressure estimation scheme based on fracture mechanics analyses for steam generator tube with an axial or circumferential through-wall crack. A series of three dimensional elastic-plastic finite element analyses were carried out and, then, closed-form estimation equations with respect to both J-integral and crack opening displacement were derived through reference stress method. The developed engineering equations were utilized for structural integrity evaluation and the resulting data were compared to the corresponding ones fiom experiments as well as limit load solutions. Thereafter, since the effectiveness was proven by promising results, it is believed that the proposed estimation scheme can be used as an efficient tool for integrity evaluation of cracked steam generator tubes.
위험도 평가 기반의 전철/전력분야 안전확보 방안에 관한 연구

Recently the railway safety is very important issue in Korea because there are lots of changes like the separation of operation and facility of national rail network, the inauguration of high speed train and Daegu subway fire accident. Railway safety management system is based on risk assessment of rolling stocks, electrical system, signaling, operation & maintenance and human element. With this process, railway risk will be reduced as low as reasonably acceptable level. Through risk assessment on accident data, this study predicted the current risk level of railway electrical system and presented the proper safety ensuring measures.
MAP(Manufacturing Automation Protocol) 에서의 Presentation 계층의 구현

본 연구에서는 MAP을 구성하는 7계층 중 presentation계층의 구현을 목표로 하였다. 기본 모델로는 ISO의 표준을 참조하고 연결, 데이타 전송, context제어 등의 모든 기능을 포함하여 하나의 프로세스로 동작하도록 설계하였다. syntax에 있어서는 abstract syntax들의 표현에 ASN 1을, transfer syntax로는 NBS-TS-1의 단일 syntax를 사용하였으며 여러 응용 계층들이 하나의 presentation계층을 사용할 수 있도록 multi-user를 지원할 수 있게 하였다. 또한 계층간의 통신에는 ipc를 사용하도록 하였고 Unix 시스템을 기반으로 하여 사용되어 질 수 있도록 프로그램을 개발하였다.

The deterministic evaluation methods could not predict exactly the real material behaviors due to the uncertainties. Recently, worldwide researches for economic operation and safe maintenance of nuclear power plant are being carried out based on risk and failure probability. However, unfortunately, few efficient tools to predict the failure probability of wall-thinned piping have been developed from the researches at this time. So, to settle the wall-thinned piping problem, it is necessary to develop the enhanced deterministic evaluation method and to put the probabilistic evaluation method on a firm footing based on the deterministic one. This paper describes enhanced deterministic evaluation method based on a series of finite element analyses, and development of the probabilistic evaluation program based on FORM and Monte Carlo simulation, and calculate failure probability of wall-thinned piping.
전방십자인대 재건술의 대퇴골 터널 굴착시 경경골 접근법과 전내측통로 접근법의 비교

목적: 전방십자인대 재건술시 대퇴골 터널의 등척점이 10시에서 10시 반 또는 1시 반에서 2시로 개념이 변함에 따라 전내측 통로를 이용한 대퇴골 터널 굴착방법의 유용성이 대두되고 있다. 이에 본 교실에서는 경경골 접근법과전내측 통로 접근법의 술기 및 술 후 방사선학적 계측을 비교하고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 2003년 1월부터 2004년 5월까지 본 교실에서 시행한 전방십자인대 재건술 100례 중 경경골 접근법을 이용한 50례(Croup 1) 및 전내측 통로 접근법을 이용한 50fii(Croup 11)를 대상으로 하였으며 수술방법 및 술후 결과를 방사선 촬영으로 비교하였다. 결과: 술기상으로 경경골 접근법을 이용한 경우에 비해 전내측 통로 접근법을 이용한 접근법은 10시에서 10시 반 또는 1시 반에서 2시의 등척점에 굴착하기가 용이하였고 100도의 굴곡으로 굴착하기 때문에 대퇴과간 절흔의 시야확보가 상대적으로 좋았으며 굴착시 후방피질골의 침습 위험도를 감소시킬 수 있었고 골터널과 이식인대 길이의 불일치를 감소시킬 수 있었다. 방사선학적으로 후자의 경우 전자에 비해 이식 인대골-간섭나사 각도의 감소(P<0.05)를 나타내었으나 대퇴터널과 경골터널이 이루는 각은 증가되어 있었다. 결론: 전방십자인대 재건술시 대퇴터널은 그 등척점이 우측의 경우 10시에서 10시 반, 좌측의 경우 1시 반에서 2시로 변화함에 따라 경경골 접근법보다 전내측 통로를 이용한 대퇴터널의 굴착방법이 유용할것으로 사료되며 대퇴터널 이식인대의 마모에 대해서는 술후 장기적인 추시관찰 및 추가적인 연구가 필요할것으로 사료된다. Purpose: Recent development and advances in arthroscopic surgical techniques for Anterior Cruciate Ligament(ACL) reconstruction have led to the ideal location for the etric point from 10 o'clock (in right knee) and 13:30 (in left knee) to 10:30 (in right knee) and 14 o'clock (in left knee) in the frontal plane. This study was performed to compare operative methods and the radiologic results of femoral tunnels made through the tibial tunnel(trans-tibial approach) and the anteromedial portal. Material and Methods: From January 2003 to May 2004, one-hundred reconstructions of anterior cruciate ligament were performed. Group I (femoral tunnel through tibial tunnel) was composed of 50 cases and group ll (femoral tunnel through anteromedial portal) was consisted of 50 cases. The study was performed to compare the radiographic results of femoral tunnels made through the tibial tunnel and the anteromedial portal and operative methods. Results: In operative methods at Group II, femoral tunnel was made more easily at isometric point than Group I, a good visual field was achived because 100$^{\circ}$ flxion of knee, they can be reduced risk of posterior cortical breakage and tunnel-graft mismatching and decreased divergence of femoral interference screw in radiology (P<0.05). The angle between femoral tunnel and longitudinal axis of ACL wae increased at Group ll. Conclusion: Aanteromedial portal technique was more useful in ACL reconstruction for femoral tunnel toward 10 o'clock to10:30(in right) or 1:30 to 2 o'clock(in left).

Purpose: The increased incidence of asthma due to rising allergic diseases requires the prevention of worsening asthma. It is necessary to develop a patient-tailored asthma prediction model. Methods: We developed causative factors for the asthma forecast system: infant and young children (0-2 years), preschool children (3-6 years), school children and adolescents (7-18 years), adults (19-64 years), old aged adult (>64 years). We used the Emergency Department code data which charged the short-acting bronchodilator (Salbutamol sulfate) from Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service for the development of asthma prediction models. Three kinds of statistical models (multiple regression models, logistic regression models, and decision tree models) were applied to 40 study groups (4 seasons, 2 sex, and 5 age groups) separately. Results: The 3 kinds of models were compared based on model assessment measures. Estimated logistic regression models or decision tree models were recommended as binary forecast models. To improve the predictability, a threshold was used to generate binary forecasts. Conclusion: We suggest the binary forecast models as a patient-tailored asthma prediction system for this category. It may be needed the extended study duration and long-term data analysis for asthmatic patients for the further improvement of asthma prediction models. (Allergy Asthma Respir Dis 2016:4:328-339)
