DeskShare: LAN상에서 그룹작업을 위한 멀티미디어 탁상회의 시스템

본 논문에서는 분산된 다수의 사용자들이 실시간 회의를 진행할 수 있는 탁상회의 시스템인 DeskShare의 설계 및 구현에 대해서 기술한다. 본 연구의 주요목적은 현재 사용가능한 오디오, 비디오 기술을 이용하여 공동작업을 할 수 있는 환경을 제공하는 것과 현재 가장 많이 사용하고 있는 LAN상에서 통신망의 부하에 따라 대처하는 기능을 가진 탁상회의 시스템을 개발하는 것이다. 본 시스템은 객체지향 설계 기술을 이용하여 모듈화된 여러 프로세스들로 구현하였기 때문에 향후의 시스템 환경 변화에 쉽게 대처할 수 있다. 또한 본 시스템은 멀티미디어 탁상회의를 위해서 개발되었지만 원격지 교육, 원거리 쇼핑, 그룹 디자인, 원격지 제어 등 그룹간의 활동이 필요한 다양한 응용분야에 적용이 가능하다. In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of a desktop conference system. called DeskShare. which provides a distributed and real-time conferencing facility for cooperative work. The main objective of our research is to bring users of remote systems together to collaborate in group works using readily available commodity audio and video technology and currently used networks on the basis of asynchronous communications, such as Ethernet and FDDI, with adaptability in network congestion, Since DeskShare is implemented as a group of cooperating processes in a highly modular fashion based on an object-oriented design technique, we can easily adapt further system configuration modifications, for example changing video and/or audio codec. Even if DeskShare was originally designed for multimedia desktop conferencing, it is possible to apply it to diverse areas, such as remote education, tele-shopping, group design, and remote operation, which are necessary for various group activities.

The objective of this study was to determine antioxidant effect of ether and ethylacetate fractions of 70% ethanol extract of some food (acid treated or not) on perilla oil. Each fraction of food extract was added to perilla oil and stored for 0, 3, 6, 9, 11 days at 60℃. Then, the peroxide value (POV) of perilla oil samples were analyzed. Perilla oil contained γ-tocopherol 0.6800㎍/㎎, α-tocopherol 0.3189㎍/㎎, δ-tocopherol 0.0463㎍/㎎, but it was easily oxidized due to high linolenic acid content. To increase yield of ether and ethylacetate fractions from each food extract, the 70% ethanol extract was treated with 0.2% H₂SO₄and fractionized by ether and ethylacetate. Among ether and ethylacetate fractions of 70% ethanol extracts of some food, the yield of ethylacetate fraction of acid treated Pueraria thunbergiana extract was 5 times more than that of ethylacetate fraction untreated with acid. Perilla oil which added 100 ppm ethylacetate fraction of acid treated Pueraria thunbergianan extract showed low POV (44.8meq/㎏) compared to POV (80.0meq/㎏) of control.
