        DRAMBORA를 응용한 전자기록 장기보존 업무 위험관리체계 연구

        국가기록원을 포함한 우리나라 정부 공공영역의 기록관리 기관들이 공통으로 갖고 있는 전자기록의 장기보존이라는 업무목표를 달성하기 위해 점검체계로서 위험관리기법을 제시한다. 위험관리기법의 역사와 핵심 개념을 살펴보고, 위험평가에 기반한 자가 점검체계로 개발된 DRAMBORA의 구조와 내용을 살펴본 후, 이를 응용하여 우리나라 정부 공공영역의 기록관리기관이 전자기록 장기보존 업무를 대상으로 위험관리 체계를 만들어 가는 절차와 방법을 제안한다. 기록관리 기관의 업무배경을 정의하는 절차와 방법, 업무를 정의하고 위험요소를 도출하는 절차와 방법, 위험을 평가하는 절차와 방법과 고려사항 등을 DRAMBORA를 응용하여 제시하고 있다. 위험관리기법은 모든 업무영역에서 응용이 가능한 업무품질 향상기법이라 할 수 있으며 DRAMBORA는 전자기록관리 업무를 수행하는 기관이 참조할 만한 업무 점검 프레임워크를 제시하고 있다. 전자기록을 관리하는 기관들이 스스로의 업무 영역과 활동을 정의하고, 업무 영역별 전자기록의 품질 목표를 정의할 수 있다면 이를 기반으로 DRAMBORA의 프레임워크를 응용하여 보다 용이하게 위험관리 기법을 적용할 수 있다. This paper proposed risk management approach as a self-audit framework to achieve the goals which might be common among the records management organizations in Korea governmental and public area. After introducing the history and the concept and process of risk management approach and examining DRAMBORA's framework, the processes and the methods of risk management for the electronic records which are customized from DRAMBORA are explained in details: How to define the business context of organizations, how to determine the business functions and activities and related risks, how to assess the level or severity of each risks and some considerations related to risk assessment. As a result, this paper shows that application of DRAMBORA's framework to the electronic records management organizatioins is not only possible but also useful and effective. The critical point for the success of application for DRAMBORA's framwork or the risk management approach itself each organizations which wants to accept that framework should define its own business functions and activities and the goals in respect areas.

        지방대 영문학 전공자를 위한 미국학 교수모형 연구

          How to redesign the curriculum of university English departments has been the subject of crucial debate in Korean academe. This paper aims to suggest what can be done to redraw the curriculum of English departments especially for education-centered universities and colleges in local areas. Interdisciplinary and de-centralizing measures are suggested as key tools to navigate this pedagogical arena, in which the concept of canon is questioned, and the redrawing and expansion of pedagogical focus is expected.<BR>  This paper explores the possibilities of the incorporation of area studies into the curriculum of the English department. It further explains how "teaching America through American literature" can be a relevant subject in specific Korean contexts of English departments, and how remapping the courses of American literature can answer the issues involved in the Korean students" stereotyped vision of America. The tailored program for English majors can only be constructed on the basis of open-mindedness toward interdisciplinary approaches and pedagogical experiments to trigger the students" academic curiosities and activities.<BR>  The pedagogical design should be constructed with a positive understanding of not only "what to teach" but also "how to teach," This design should include experiments in new media, and a variety of teaching projects which encourages student-reader responses. Research in instructional media, and the methodology that enriches pedagogical practices, by providing rich electronic environments that bring multimedia features into the classroom, including digital archives, electronic resources, electronic forum, and aural and visual texts, needs to be encouraged. Innovations in educational technology, and flexibility in adapting a variety of teaching strategies, open-mindedness toward the practical pedagogical use of technology in the specifically adjusted to the Korean classroom environment, will be the subjects of an ongoing discussion for the future of American Studies and English Departments, in the Korean educational context.

        문학교육과 생명공동체의 공감적 담론

        문학은 심층적인 공감의 영역에 관여한다는 점에서 사회변화를 위한 교육적 역량을 지닌다. 사회적으로 공감하는 존재, 이야기하는 존재로서 독자들이 형성하는 문학적 감수성은 생명공동체 의식을 확장하고 생명계 공존의 의미와 가치를 구현하는데 기여한다. 특히 최근 생명계는 인류 미래의 지속가능성의 쟁점에서, 환경문제에 대한 경고, 평등한 생명권, 생명계 시민의식과 같은 사회치유적 커뮤니케이션을 요구하고 있다. 본 논문은 문학을 통한 미래지향적 생명담론을 모색하는 실천적 독서의 소재로서 영문학 가운데서도 한국 청소년들의 공감도가 높은 한국계 미국문학 작가 이창래(Chang-rae Lee)의 생명서사 『만조의 바다 위에서』(On Such a Full Sea, 2014)를 분석한다. 문학작품의 공감력을 통해 생명정치의 쟁점을 통찰하고, 생명공동체 의식과 연계된 미래지향적 생명담론을 탐색하는 생명계 시민교육 교과과정을 구성해나감으로써 문학교육의 사회적 독해력을 확장하고자 한다. This paper deals with pedagogical exploration of empathetic life narratives and possibilities of literature-education program to promote social healing communication for the sustainability of the human future. The ongoing globalized society involves a growing need for educational strategies to foster life awareness as ‘Homo Socioempathicus’ and ‘Homo Narrans.’ In designing core curriculum of the empathetic discourse of literature and community of life, this paper focuses on Korean American writer, Chang-rae Lee’s On Such a Full Sea as a text of biopolitics for raising issues of the imminent dystopian world and the urgent need for a democratic awareness of right to life. The empathetic readings of literary works for community of life ultimately leads to extending young people s minds for the communal respect of life and to envisioning empathetic perspectives as citizens of the egalitarian life circle, in the ongoing globalized society.

        제인 정 트렌카의 입양의 몸: 언어, 피의 소리, 그리고 음악

        This paper aims to explore Jane Jeong Trenka`s The Language of Blood: A Memoir and Fugitive Visions: An Adoptee`s Return to Korea as life-based adoptee narratives dealing with complex identity politics of displaced, diasporic, and deprived bodies undertransnational geography. Trenka`s autobiographical narrative exposes the ideas of ethno-nationalism and victimization of subaltern bodies. Transnational adoptee bodies go through the ordeal of the rejected, misrepresented, and silenced -as Trenka expresses-“in myheart`s irrational math one Korea plus one America equals nothing-equals motherless, languageless, countryless.”In dealing with a trans-sphere of adoptee identities moving from Korea to U.S. and coming back to Korea, Trenka delves into new voices surmounting a distorted matrix of transcultural and translingual supposition and ensuing confusion. Trenka experiments with different layers of sounds; language, sound of blood and music, with a scale ranging from the referential and contaminated to the abstract and emancipated. This paper reads a wide spectrum of sounds in Trenka`s narratives as an ongoing exploration for decoding ideologically distorted discourse against adoptees. Trenka`s search for sound of blood and music continues a meaningful journey toward bridging adoptees` ``exteriorhomelessness`and``interior homelessness`and reconstructing a holistic transnational adoptee body discourse from the eyes of the insiders. This search draws a reliable portrait of the adoptee writer as well, relating a broad picture of the generations of Korean American adoptees struggling with the deeply embedded matrix of distorted bodies and dissonant languages.

        해외입양 한인들과 국가의 치유적 대화

        Due to uncertainty and deprivation of one`s identity and existence, an adoptee experiences “ambiguous loss.” An overseas Korean adoptee is multifariously inscribed with unresolved components such as “the birth and adoptive nations,” and “biological and adoptive parents.” Feelings of guilt and shame derive from the overseas adoption; hence, the notion itself stands as a national trauma. Mutual communication and therapeutic discourses between the birth nations and adoptees can be observed by reading their life stories such as I Didn`t Know Who I was, a collection of personal essays and poems composed by the Korean adoptees after their “Motherland Tour,” and other transnational adoptees` narratives. In their candid confessions on adoption, the transracial and transcultural narratives converge on the ongoing controversial factors such as birth nation, adoptive country, birth parents, adoptive parents and adoption itself. In this paper, the recovery phases of one`s identity via his/her visit to the motherland shown in the adoptees` life stories and testimonial narratives are observed; moreover, examination of dialogues or discourses between an individual and the nations and also between birth and adoptive nations take place, which lead up to empathetic healing for all. The healing or consoling process of the narrative therapy for adoptees and the nations involves democratic tolerance or acceptance of multiple identities, which transcends dualistic rigidity, assimilation, and ethnic reductionism. Through the exploration of the intricate labyrinth of birth and adoptive nations and adoptees, the paper further explores the understanding of the socio-cultural constructions of adoption, the anxiety of belonging, and the deeply rooted trauma known as “loss without closure.”

        혼혈 입양 내러티브로서의 『만 가지 슬픔』

        This paper deals with the discourses of complex identity politics involved in the transracial and transnational female body. By groping linguistic predicaments, this paper argues that Elizabeth Kim`s adoption discourse challenges the closed structure of identity formation, and offers a profound discourse of a female body with a keen awareness of the complex interrelationship of race, nation and gender. Korea has recently been vigorous in recognizing overseas Korean adoptee writers, with their transplanted and untranslated life stories. Transnational and transracial adoptees` struggle to understand their origins ultimately deepens readers` understanding of Korean diasporic existence, and Korea in general. Ten Thousand Sorrows, The Extraordinary Journey of α Korean War Orphan, is read as a life-based literary narrative, exploring "a poetics of Experience." This life-testimony grapples with the meaning of Korea as an orphaned nation, and the adoption as the quiet migration and "queer diaspora." Transracial and transnational bodies work as "maps of the relation between power and identity." Korea has persisted in the deeply embedded ideas of "ethnic nationalism" and the patriarchal Confucian ideologies. Korean adoptees of mixed blood have been considered as the embodiment of a national shame in the turmoil of the tragedy of Korean national history. This narrative of Elizabeth, a Korean transracial and transnational female adoptee deeply explores her diasporic existence and the marks of trauma on her body caused by the victimization of women. It also deals with the questions of misogynist discourse of male supremacy from both Korean national structure and imperialistic white male dislocations, and the ensuing untranslability of her diasporic life. By focusing on how she overcomes this predicament, this paper proposes the positive legacy from adoptees` incessant struggle for the future Korean society intermittent with the questions of transraciality and transnationality.

        미국문학을 통한 문화교육의 모색

        The question of how to redesign American literature courses in the Korean context has recently been in crucial debate. This paper explores methods of teaching American literature as a part of area studies, with the emphasis on interdisciplinary perspectives and methodologies, American Literary texts have functioned as a crucial part 01 American Studies in Korean academia, to enhance a practical level of understanding of an area and reach a critical awareness of cultural complexities, This paper addresses issues of how to combine area studies and in-depth analysis of American culture, and how to equip students with critical apparatus to understand the US from a multiplicity of perspectives. This paper discusses key issues involved in the current restructuring of curriculum of American literature courses. The courses designed to teach American culture through American literature include such related issues as deconstruction of canon and cultural elitism. Awareness of the politics of the canon leads to the de-centralizing of media, negates the literacy-centeredness of written texts, and encompasses new media and popular culture, These course designs have an interdisciplinary nature, and encourage a holistic perspective of an area from almost any viewpoint of culture, through a methodology that combines different sources of knowledge into an interdisciplinary understanding. Pedagogical theses should be taken into consideration in a specifically Korean context which concerns the readers/receivers in "Reception Theory," in order to engender in-depth understanding of the students, This paper specifically shows how to approach Mark Twain's texts as a pedagogical case study for teaching aspects of American culture and enhancing cultural competence. This paper concludes that the study of American culture is a mainstay of the curriculum in current debate over the role that American literature courses should play in the Korean academe.

      • 일상 아카이브즈 구축방안

        본 연구는 일상성이라는 추상적인 개념을 구체적으로 확인하고, 이를 분명한 연구 대상으로 설정하기 위해서 반드시 필요한 일상 아카이브즈를 기획하고 운영하기 위해서 고려해야 할 문제를 살피고 있다. 일상 아카이브즈는 아카이브의 일반적인 특성과 함께 일상자료를 전문적으로 수집·관리하여 생활세계 연구의 토대로 기능한다는 특수한 목적을 동시에 담보하여야 할 것이다. 이와 관련 일상 아카이브즈를 원활하게 운영하기 위해서는 제기할 수 있는 필수 요소는 '아카이브즈로서의 모든 기능을 수행할 수 있는 체계와 인력 확보', '일상자료를 적극적으로 생산해내는 기능 확보', '디지털 형태로 자료를 제작하고 아날로그 형태의 자료를 디지털화하는 기능 확보', '자료의 장기(long-term) 보존 체계 구축', '가치평가 기준, 분류 기준, 메타데이터 요소 기준에 기반한 자료 수집 및 관리', '일상자료를 기술(description)함으로써 일상자료의 맥락과 내용을 데이터베이스화 하는 체계 마련', '일상자료를 안전하게 보존하고 즉각 활용될 수 있는 환경 유지'로 요약할 수 있다. 기존의 아카이브즈가 문서 중심의 기록물을 수집 보관하는 일에 중심을 두었다면, 일상 아카이브즈는 보다 다양한 형태의 기록물들을 영구히 보존하는 것은 물론이고, 관련 연구자 및 그 기록물들의 실질적 생산자이거나, 잠재적 생산자인 시민 등 다양한 성향의 사용자들의 접근성을 향상시킴으로써 새로운 국면의 아카이브즈로 기능해야 할 것이다. 이를 통해서 일상 아카이브즈는 단순한 기록물 보관창고에 머물지 않아야 할 것이다. 특히 수장 자료를 온라인상에서 검색하고, 이를 판매하여, 다시 이를 연구기관의 자생력 확보에 활용하는 선순환 구조를 구축하기 위해서는 시스템 외적인 고민도 세심하게 해 보아야 할 것이다. 이것이야 말로 일상 아카이브즈의 성패를 가름하는 핵심요소라는 점을 분명하게 인식할 때, 성공적인 일상 아카이브즈 구축의 기반이 마련될 것이다. 그 대표적인 사례가 일상 아카이브즈와 시민사회의 소통 공간 확보이다. 일상 아카이브즈가 하나의 소통 공간으로 확장되기 위해서는 일상을 발생시키는 시민들 각자가 하나의 사적 아카이브즈를 만들어 낼 수 있는 길을 모색하는 데에도 힘을 기울여야 할 것이다. 결국 아카이브즈는 과거나 현재를 위한 것이 아니라 미래를 위한 것이기 때문이다. This paper reviews the abstract concept of 'ordinariness concretely and investigates problems that have to be considered in designing and administering an archives of ordinary life. 'This type of archives has the same characteristics as those of other usual archives and, furthermore, it should not only collect records and materials but also processes them to promote and support researches in various areas of ordinary lives. The requisites to perform these functions are as follows: 1) the organization and the personnel, 2) a system for long-term preservation, 3) criteria for classification and evaluation, 4) using meta-data in organizing and controling records and materials. etc. Other existing archives are primarily collecting and controlling records. However, the archives of ordinary life has another aim to create a new type of archives, which will be more accessible to ordinary people. In order to make a virtuous circle between efficient archive services and the archives' ability to stand in its own, it is also necessary that external factors be considered carefully. In particular, it is important to expand interactive communication between ordinary citizens and the archives to build that circle. The paper adds that the archives has to help the individual citizens to make their own archives. In conclusion, through these efforts it will be possible to establish a new type of archives.
