When the water level of the reactor pool descends to an extremely low level due to a loss of reactor pool water accident in HANARO, a multi-purpose research reactor of a 30 MWth, the emergency water stored in the tank should be fed to the core by a gravity force. Last year, the reactor pool water was temporarily transferred to the emergency cooling water storage tank. And the water level came down to EL 77.5 m, 0.4 m above the extremely low level to install the in-pile section of a Fuel Test Loop in the reactor core. When the water was re-transferred into the reactor pool, an emergency water injection test was performed. This paper describes the test results and a consideration of the results. It was confirmed through the test that the injection flow rate was maintained above the design injection flow rate by setting the flow control valve at 3.5 turns to a partially open position.

The flow-field of a liquid-metal system is very important for the safety analysis and the design of the steam generator of liquid-metal fast breeder reactor. Dynamic neutron radiography (DNR) is suitable for a visualization and measurement of a liquid metal flow and a two-phase flow in a metallic duct. However, the three dimensional DNR techniques is not enough to obtain the velocity information in the wide channel up to now. In this research, a high speed DNR technique was applied to visualize the heavy liquid-metal flow field in the narrow channel with the HANARO-beam facility. The images were taken with a high frame-rate neutron radiography at 250 fps and analyzed with a Particle Image Velocimetry(PIV) method. The images were compared with the results of the commercial CFX code to study the feasibility of DNR technique for the measuring the heavy liquid-metal flow field. The PIV images could discern the turbulent vortex flow in the two-dimensional narrow channel.
Measurement of Two-Phase Flow with a High Frame-Rate Dynamic Neutron Radiography in HANARO Reactor

A dynamic neutron radiography(DNR) has a complementary characteristics to X-ray radiography and is suitable for a visualization and measurement of a multi-phase flow research in a metallic duct and a liquid metal flow. Two kinds of experiments were conducted to visualize the water-air two-phase flow and the liquid-metal two-phase flow. The void fraction and the two-phase flow patterns in a channel simulating the HANARO fuel channel were investigated in the D₂O-air two-phase condition. The DNR technique was also applied to visualize the flow field in the gas-liquid metal two-phase flow with the HANARO-beam facility. The two-phase flow images were taken at various combinations of the liquid flow and gas flow with a high frame-rate neutron radiography at 1000 fps. The study showed that the dynamic neutron radiography is a good technique to measure the two-phase flow behavior in the complex rod-bundle geometry and the liquid-metal two-phase flow.

주조시 주형내의 유동해석을 위해서는 시간에 따라 변화하는 자유표면 위치에 대한 정확한 정보가 요구되는 관계로 난제로 여겨져 왔다. 따라서 대부분의 연구는 초기치 속도를 정의하기 위해서 순간충입(instantaneous filling)을 가정하여 수치 해석을 하였던 것이다. 본 연구는 Modified Solution Algorithm-Volume of Fluid Method (MSOLA-VOF)를 개발하는 주조시 주형내의 유동을 수치적으로 해석하며, 유속이 수평 주조, 수직 주조의 경우에 어떤 영향을 미치는가에 대하여 연구하였다. 결론으로 응고 연구에 있어서 초기의 순간충입은 비현실적인 가정이라는 것이 밝혀졌으며, 충입시 초기 속도 분포와 결정 생성은 밀접한 관계가 있음을 알 수 있었다. The HANARO nuclear research reactor had been operated successfully and smoothly up to the year 2008 since its first year of instability in year 1995 just after the completion of construction. But the reliability of the reactor has been degraded from the year 2009 due to new experimental facilities such as Feul Test Loop(FTL) and Cold Neutron Source(CNS) which were installed in the HANARO plant. It turned out that these new facilities contributed unexpected stoppage of the plant. This paper describes causes of stoppage and suggestions to improve the reliability of the plant.

본 논문은 기계번역의 효율을 향상시키기 위해서 한국어 구문분석을 위한 새로운 테이블 파싱 알고리듬 및 기계 번역 처리 과정에 있어서 시제와 서법을 고려치 않고 번역하므로써 발생하는 오류를 해결하기 위한 활용어 어미 테이블을 구성하여 시제와 서법처리의 효율적인 알고리듬을 제안한다. 입력된 문장은 형태소 분석부를 거쳐 출력된 각 리스트의 속성값이 두개의 큐와 스택에 저장되며, 문법규칙 테이블을 이용하여 규칙에 맞는 패턴으로 파싱한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 알고리듬은 문장분류의 정확성을 높이고 문장성분테이블과 각 어미테이블에 의미정보를 두어 구문구조 규칙만으로 해결 할 수 없었던 다의성 및 애매성을 해결한다.
