This paper investigates the impact of household size and wife`s value of time on the demand for food away from home by using the sample of married households in Household Income and Expenditure Survey. The estimation results employing Tobit model with heteroscedasticity showed that per capita eating out expenditures decreased as 3.6 thousand Won while it increased the ratio of eating out expenditures relative to total food expenditures as 1.9%. These results imply that as household size increases, economies of scale effect in eating out consumption makes households reduce per capita food-away-from-home expenditures although eating out preferring effect due to the increase in total time spent on home meal production overpowers home meal preferring effect due to the economies of scale in it.

Water extract from spent mushroom substrates (SMS) of Pleurotus eryngii was utilized in decolorization of eight synthetic dyes and wastewater from a textile factory. High laccase activity was detected in the extract of P. eryngii (SMSE). The SMSE showed that decolorization rate was 34~93% after 24 h incubation without any mediator on eight dyes including Rit-blue and Rit-red used in fiber dyeing. Dye decolorization rate more than 90% was observed on bromophenol blue and remazol brilliant blue R (RBBR). Dye in textile wastewater was decolorized at room temperature after three days by addition of P. eryngii SMSE. The results suggest that biological decolorization of dyes using the P. eryngii SMSE can be used as environmental friendly materials.

본 연구는 큰느타리버섯(Pleurotus eryngii)에 감마 방사선을 조사하여 형태적, 생리적 특성이 향상된 새로운 큰느타리버섯 품종을 개발하기 위하여 수행되었다. 큰느타리버섯에서 분리한 원형질체에 0.25-1.25 KGy의 감마 방사선을 조사하였다. 원형질체는 YPMGA 배지에서 80%의 치사율을 나타냈고 이들 중 무작위로 500개의 변이체를 선발하여 PDA 배지에 배양하였다. 그 결과, 대부분의 변이체가 대조구와 비슷한 형태와 생장률을 나타냈으며, 이 중 100개의 변이체가 대조구와 약간의 차이를 보였다. 67개 변이체에 대해 cellulase 활성과 laccase 활성을 조사하였다. 그 결과, 대체적으로 대조구와 유사한 효소 활성을 나타내었고, 5개의 변이체가 대조구에 비해 더 높은 cellulase 활성을 나타내었다. 또한 감마 방사선 조사 변이체의 유전적 변이를 조사하기 위하여 UFPF-PCR을 이용하여 다형성을 조사하였다. Gamma ray irradiation mutagenesis was employed to get variants of Pleurotus eryngii with functionally enhanced and improved characteristics. Protoplasts released from P. eryngii were treated with gamma ray radiation under 0.25-1.25KGy. Protoplast sample that showed fatality rate of 80% at the 0.25KGy was spreaded on YPMGA (yeast, peptone, malt-extract, glucose, agar) and 500 mycelial colonies were randomly selected from the medium, Of them, 100 mutant strains with mycelial morphology and growth rate that differ to control strain were observed on PDA. The cellulase and laccase activity of 67 gamma ray-irradiated P. eryngii isolates with morphological variation were investigated. Among these, 5 isolates were higher cellulase. In addition, the genetic variation of the mutant strains was analyzed by PCR fingerprinting.

Purpose The aim of this study was to determine the effect of somatosensory training focused on upper limb with trunk muscle stability of upper limb fuction performance in chronic hemiplegia after stroke. Methods Two subjects(2 males) were patients with stroke. Subjects(onset >6 months, K_MMSE >24) received somatosensory training focused on upper limb with trunk muscle stability for 50 minutes after each treatment, 5 days per week for 4 weeks. Activities of Somatosensory training focused on upper limb were scapular orientation, scapular setting, hand extrinsic and intrinsic muscle stimulation. Also the activity included induced friction with both hands on the ground for mid_line formation. Finally, trunk muscle exercises conducted for trunk stabiltiy. To measure the outcome, Manual Function Test, Box and Block test, Jebson_Taylor hand function test, Jamar strength test and pinch force test. Manual Muscle test, Light_Touch test were conducted. Results The 2 subjects showed significant improvements in manual function test(MFT), Box and Block test, Jebson_Taylor hand function test, Jamar strength test and pinch force test. Manual Muscle test, Light_Touch test. Conclusion Somatosensory training focused on upper limb with trunk muscle stability can be used as a therapeutic technique in order to improve upper limb function and strength for chronic hemiplegia. In addition, further investigation should examine individual studies of somatosensory training focused on upper limb with trunk muscle stability should be conducted in order to generalize the effects.
Ethylene 중합용 Pentamethylene Bridged Dinuclear Zirconocene 합성에 관한 연구

본 연구는 메탈로센 신촉매 공정 개발을 위하여 진행되었으며, 하나의 촉매에 두 개의 활성점을 갖는 pentamethylene bridged dinuclear zirconocene을 Noh 등의 protocol을 활용하여 합성하였고, 상업화시 가장 중요한 변수인 반응 수율을 향상시키기 위하여 각 합성 단계의 개선을 시도하였다. Biscyclopentadienyl pentane 합성시 silica gel chromatography column을 이용하여 순수한 ligand를 제조하였고, trimethyltin compound 합성시 용매 변환과 TEA 주입을 통하여 수율을 향상시켰다. 최종 메탈레이션 반응시에는 반응 온도의 변화를 통하여 촉매의 활성을 향상시킬 수 있었다. This study was done for the development of a new metallocene catalyst process. The pentamethylene bridged dinuclear zirconocene which have two active sites in one catalyst had been synthesized using Noh et al's protocol and each synthetic step was modified for the improvement of reaction yield which was the most important variable in commercialization. Pure biscyclopentadienylpentane was obtained by passing through silica gel chromatography column and the reaction yield of trimethyltin compound was improved by solvent change and TEA injection. A change in the reaction temperature during the final metallation process also improved the catalytic activity.
