        수평형 지열 히트펌프 난방 성능 분석을 위한 실험적 연구

        This study have an objective to suggest basic data and measured result of heating performance on water-water type horizontal geothermal heat pump which is based on heating and cooling load calculation result of small residential house. The average temperature during measured periods is 9.4℃ on primary EWT and is 7.6℃ on primary LWT. The temperature difference shows 1.8℃ as average temperature. Because the average outdoor temperature of peak is lager than on December and than on January, the temperature difference between EWT and LWT is bigger that on January than that on December. The system COP is 3.62.

        창원지역의 지중온도 예측에 관한 연구

        For an analysis of the horizontal-type geothermal heat exchanger system, an understanding of the ground temperature distributions is required in order to predict system performance. Because it is difficult to decide on the underground temperature due to the adjustment of its temperature cycle, numerous calculations are required in order to decide on the temperature cycle. In this paper, Buggs formula is utilized to decide a phase shift for outdoor temperature and ground surface temperature, which are obtained from Korea Meteorological Administration. Overall, the underground temperature distribution in the Changwon region is predicted as 10.5℃~20.3℃ at a depth of 3 m.

        출구 온도를 고려한 수평형 지중열교환기의 매설 지침에 관한 연구

        Geothermal energy can be used with a geothermal heat pump or an earth-to-air heat exchange system (EAHES), which is referred to as a “cooling tube” in Korea. In this study, we suggest EAHES burial guidelines in terms of the parameters of buried pipe length and air velocity regarding the exit air temperature of EAHES. The exit air temperature for EAHES in three regions (Changwon, Busan and Seoul) was calculated with variation in buried pipe length and air velocity at Φ 100 mm and Φ 200 mm. In conclusion, variation in the buried pipe length is more effective than that of air velocity to achieve the required exit air temperature.

        Earth tube와 열전소자를 이용한 냉난방 겸용 습도 조절 유닛 성능에 관한 실험적 연구

        The 4-mode unit system was developed with the integration of the earth tube system, which can control the humidity of outdoor air for cooling and heating. This study experimentally investigated the performance of the developed 4-mode unit using the earth tube system and demonstrates that the system can modulate the humidity. In the cooling mode, the dehumidification effect at the outlet of the 4-mode unit is reduced approximately 15.7% during daylight. According to the results of the cooling mode during daylight, the wheel filter could be expected to be renewable because of the moisture evaporation. In the cooling mode, the air temperature is reduced approximately 1.6% during daylight but increases at night. In the heating mode, the air temperature of the outlet increases during daylight and at night.

        축소모형을 이용한 세대 내 수직 샤프트의 배연 가시화 및 배연량 예측을 위한 실험적 연구

        A 1/6 scaled-down model experiment was conducted using similarity conditions to visualize the smoke flow through a vertical axis connected to an apartment bathroom and predict the amount of exhaust smoke. The study conclusions can be summarized as follows. (1) Since the results between the scaled model experiment and Eq.(14) were nearly concordant, the similarity condition using thermal transmittance was validated. (2) Although smoke flow was confirmed through the vertical shaft in the visualization experiment, improved methods are needed as it was discharged to the outdoors at a time difference. (3) As more than 80% of the smoke was discharged to the outdoors in the experiments, vertical shafts can be considered sufficient to prevent suffocation in households.

        As the modem city grows larger and larger, overpopulated and over-storied apartments caused violation of sunlight, view and privacy of their own and these violation became social problems. The purpose of this study is to find the most appropriate sunshine duration calculation method which fits the comfort standard of sunshine duration. This study has performed an analysis for flat-typed positioning apartment with core-protrusion typed roof using 3 different analysis methods which were point-analysis. surface-analysis and the Waldram analysis. The results have shown that the winter solstice day was the most appropriate day for performing sunshine duration analysis. And, the results have shown that the Waldram analysis was not as accurate as other analysis methods. Also, the results between point-analysis and surface-analysis had significant differences. For these reasons, this study has found that the surface-analysis best fits the ideal sunshine duration analysis method for flat-typed positioning apartment with core-protrusion typed roof.

        친환경건축물 인증제도 평가방법 개선 연구

        지구의 환경문제와 에너지 부족에 대한 관심은 환경친화적이고 지속가능한 개발에 대한 연구와 적용이 전 세계적으로 계속되고 있다. 이와 관련하여 건축 및 도시계획분야에서는 친환경건축물 인증과 에너지 인증이 시행되고, 지속적 인 연구와 이를 뒷받침하는 제도를 개정하고 있다. 친환경 건축물 인증제도는 건물의 친환경 성능을 평가하고 친환경성능을 제시하여 대상건물을 평가하는 도구이며, 현재 우리나라를 비롯하여 세계 주요국가에서 시행 중이다. 본 연구에서는 미국, 영국, 일본 등 주요국가의 친환경건축물 인증기준을 중심으로 최근에 업데이트된 인증제도의 특징 및 평가방법을 분석하여 향후 국내 친환경건축물 인증제도의 개선 및 연구방향에 대해 제시하였다. 첫째, 친환경건축물인증항목에서 환경관리부문 보행자 자전거안전부문 경관부문과 에너지 운용체계 관리 부문은 인증항목에 추가적으로 고려해야겠다. 둘째, 한국의 친환경건축물 인증기준에서 에너지부문에 대한 배점을 높게 하는 방향으로 개선을 할 필요가 있다고 판단된다. 셋째, 인증기준의 평가 방법에서는 한국의 경우도 다양한 등급방식에 대한 연구가 필요하다고 판단된다. Recently, energy and environment problems are serious all over the world. Therefore, environmental conferences in international society have held on Rio de Janeiro from UNCED in 1992 upward (United Nations Conference on Environment and Development) for countermeasure of environmental matters. Such developed countries as United States, Japan, Canada and British are to take effect building performance certification criteria what is certification system of environment for promotion in aspects of Green Buildings. Korea is enforcing Green Building Certification Criteria (GBCC) for multi-unit residential building, mixed-use dwellings, office and school. And now GBCCs for stores and accommodations are under development. The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze about standards and assessment of certification systems which are LEED in USGBC since 1993 in United States, BREEAM since 1991 in United Kindom, CASBEE in Japan and GBCC of KGBC in state-run organization since 2002 and ``Environment-friendly Building Guidelines`` of Seoul to be recently driven. This study shows that sevaral fators, such as environtmantal management, pedestrian safety, urban scape and ennergy operation system, are considered Korean Green Building Certification Criteria. In addition, GBCC is needed to improve scoring system and ranking system by considering developed countries cases Higher score in energy section.

        설비공학회 분야의 최근 연구 동향

        This article reviews the papers published in the Korean Journal of Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering during 2017. It is intended to understand the status of current research in the areas of heating, cooling, ventilation, sanitation, and indoor environments of buildings and plant facilities. Conclusions are as follows. (1) In building mechanical system research fields, twenty studies were reported for achieving effective design of the mechanical systems, and also for maximizing the energy efficiency of buildings. The topics of the studies included energy performance, HVAC system, ventilation, renewable energies, etc. Proposed designs, performance tests using numerical methods and experiments provide useful information and key data which could be help for improving the energy efficiency of the buildings. (2) The field of architectural environment is mostly focused on indoor environment and building energy. The main researches of indoor environment are related to the ventilated cavity of curtain-wall system for enhancing insulation and preventing condensation, the improvement plans of condensation defect examples in apartment building and the calculation method for the transmitted solar irradiance using the total horizontal irradiance. The subjects of building energy are worked on the energy consumption characteristics in office buildings, energy performance analysis for energy saving potentials in a hospital building, outdoor air cooling system operated with load prediction, building energy efficiency rating changes by enhanced building envelope standards, energy saving effect for the external insulation construction, energy reduction of a heating network through the application of an absorption heat pump, analysis of thermal load profile according to the window retrofit in an old school building, calculating regional balance point temperature for heating degree-days in korea, short-term load prediction using artificial neural network models, the simple window model applied to EnergyPlus, possibility of building energy saving through the building data, optimal cooling operation of a single family house model equipped with renewable energy facility by linear programming. The remained studies are related to the comparison between korea and china evacuation laws in office building, the effect of cold air stimulation during the driver’s drowsiness, the calculation of the attachedpiping-material rate for the building mechanical-service system in office buildings, the development of a modularlightweight steel ceiling system and the evaluation of local loss coefficients for different waveguide-below-cutoff (wbc) arrays of electromagnetic pulse. (3) Various studies were published in the categories of refrigeration cycle, alternative refrigeration/energy system, system control. In the refrigeration cycle category, research subjects include the improvement of Type II and double-effect absorption heat pumps, the seasonal performance of compression heat pumps, a vertical receiver in a compression heat pump, the performance of a domestic built-in ice maker and the performance characteristics of a surface water heat pump system. In the alternative refrigeration/energy system category, subjects include a membrane dehumidification system, a CO₂-hydrate circulation system, a Zeolite 13x chemical thermal energy storage system and the performance criteria for heat pumps as a renewable energy device. In the system control category, subjects include a defrosting control system using photoelectric sensors and the control method for an organic thermal storage-chiller system. (4) Research works on heat transfer area have been reviewed in the categories of heat transfer characteristics, pool boiling and condensing heat transfer and industrial heat exchangers.         The objective of this research is to study on the analysis of long-term performance characteristics of various solar thermal system for heating protected horticulture system for reducing heating cost, increasing the value of product by environment control, and developing advanced culture technology by deploying solar thermal system. Long term field test for the demonstration was carried out in horticulture complex in Jeju Island. Reliability and economic aspect of the system which was operated complementary with thermal storage and solar hot water generation were analyzed by investigating collector efficiency, operation performance, and control features. Optimum operating condition and its characteristics were closely investigated by changing the control condition based on the temperature difference which is the most important operating parameter.

        설비공학회 분야의 최근 연구 동향

        This article reviews the papers published in the Korean Journal of Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering during 2015. It is intended to understand the status of current research in the areas of heating, cooling, ventilation, sanitation, and indoor environments of buildings and plant facilities. Conclusions are as follows. (1) The research works on the thermal and fluid engineering were carried out in the areas of flow, heat and mass transfer, cooling and heating, and air-conditioning, the renewable energy system and the flow inside building rooms. Research issues dealing with air-conditioning machines and fire and exhausting smoke were reduced. CFD seems to be spreading to more research areas. (2) Research works on heat transfer area were carried out in the categories of heat transfer characteristics, pool boiling and condensing heat transfer and industrial heat exchangers. Researches on heat transfer characteristics included the economic analysis of GHG emission, micro channel heat exchanger, effect of rib angle on thermal performance, the airside performance of fin-and-tube heat exchangers, theoretical analysis of a rotary heat exchanger, heat exchanger in a cryogenic environment, the performance of a cross-flow-type, indirect evaporative cooler made of paper/plastic film. In the area of pool boiling and condensing, the bubble jet loop heat pipe was studied. In the area of industrial heat exchangers, researches were performed on fin-tube heat exchanger, KSTAR PFC and vacuum vessel at baking phase, the performance of small-sized dehumidification rotor, design of gas-injection port of an asymmetric scroll compressor, effect of slot discharge-angle change on exhaust efficiency of range hood system with air curtain. (3) In the field of refrigeration, various studies were carried in the categories of refrigeration cycle, alternative refrigeration/energy system, system control. In the refrigeration cycle category, a cold-climate heat pump system, CO2 cascade systems, ejector cycles and a PCM-based continuous heating system were investigated. In the alternative refrigeration/energy system category, a polymer adsorption heat pump, an alcohol absorption heat pump and a desiccant-based hybrid refrigeration system were investigated. In the system control category, turbo-refrigerator capacity controls and an absorption chiller fault diagnostics were investigated. (4) In building mechanical system research fields, eighteen studies were reported for achieving effective design of the mechanical systems, and also for maximizing the energy efficiency of buildings. The topics of the studies included energy performance, HVAC system, ventilation, and renewable energies, piping in the buildings. Proposed designs, performance tests using numerical methods and experiments provide useful information and key data which can improve the energy efficiency of the buildings. (5) The field of architectural environment was mostly focused on indoor environment and building energy. The main researches of indoor environment were related to the user and location awareness technology applied dimming lighting control system, the lighting performance evaluation for light-shelves, the improvement evaluation of air quality through analysis of ventilation efficiency and the evaluation of airtightness of sliding and LS window systems. The subjects of building energy were worked on the energy saving estimation of existing buildings, the developing model to predict heating energy usage in domestic city area and the performance evaluation of cooling applied with economizer control. The studies were also performed related to the experimental measurement of weight variation and thermal conductivity in polyurethane foam, the development of flame spread prevention system for sandwich panels, the utilization of heat from waste-incineration facility in large-scale horticultural facilities.
