해동피(海桐皮)가 콜라겐 유발 흰쥐의 관절염에 미치는 영향

Objectives : This study was designed to elucidate the effects of ELV on Type Ⅱ Collagen-Induced Arthritis. Methods : ELV was orally administered to rats with Type Ⅱ Collagen-Induced Arthritis and then IgG anti-collagen antibody, CRP, ESR, WBC were measured. Results : In the sample group, a IgG anti-collagen antibody was decreased as compared with that of control group on post 2nd and 3rd and4th week after initial immunization. In the sample group, CRP was decreased as compared with that of control group on post 2nd and 4th week after initialimmunization. In the sample group, ESR wasn`t changed as compared with that of control group on post 2nd week after initial immunization, but decreased on post 4th week. In the sample group, WBC was decreased as compared with that of control group on post 2nd and 4th week after initial immunization. Conclusions : These results suggest that ELV has a curative effect on treating Rheumatoid arthritis and we have to study its mechanism hereafter.
개에서 미만성 간장병변의 정량적 진단을 위한 초음파 및 방사선학적 평가

The present study was done with two aims. First, to evaluate the radiographic measurements of liver volumes in normal and hepatomegaly dogs induced by carbon tetrachloride. Second, to investigate quantitative tissue echo pattern by ultrasonography. Gray level histogram of the normal liver and the kidney were estimated with carbon tetra-chloride intoxication. In normal, r-square for liver volume to body weight was 0.93372, and this showed direct linear regression. Gray level histograms of the normal liver and the kidney were $19.150{\pm}2.490$(mean${\pm}$SD) and $13.175{\pm}2.686$(mean${\pm}$SD) respectively(p < 0.01). Liver parenchymal echogenicity was more hyperechogenic than kidney cortex echogenicity. Liver/Kidney ratio was $1.504{\pm}0.313$ and it can be used relative comparison of liver and kidney parenchymal echogenicity. In carbon-tetrachloride($CCl_4$) intoxication, changes of liver volume appeared to increase up to 24 hours after administration (p < 0.05), and decreased gradually to normal level after 2~5 days. Gray level histogram of liver parenchyma decreased up to 24hours (p < 0.01) after intoxication and then gradually increased to normal level. But that of kidney cortex had no significant change. Liver/Kidney ratio also decreased by 2 days(p < 0.01) and then gradually increased to normal level. On histopathologic features of hepatic tissues in carbon tetrachloride intoxication, both coagulative necrosis of hepatic cell and hemorrhage of centrilobular & midzonal area were identified. Conclusively, plain radiography is a useful diagnostic method for evaluating liver volume in mild hepatomegaly. Especially, it is considered that an adequate numerical processing of the liver length, depth and thoracic width and depth measurement would be helpful. Using gray level histogram, ultrasonographic evaluation was useful objective methods in early diagnosis of diffuse hepatic disease.

Portal blood flow was measured with pulsed doppler ultrasound in thirty normal dogs. In normal dogs, the average portal blood flow velocity was $17.03{\pm}1.75cm/sec$ and the average portal blood flow was $41.59{\pm}10.10ml/min/kg$. The incident angle between the doppler beam and the portal vein averaged $65^{\circ}$. The average portal vein sectional area was $0.41{\pm}0.14cm^2$. The Congestion index was $0.0245{\pm}0.0081cm{\cdot}sec$. Conclusively, the spectral doppler ultrasonography was quick, non-invasive and simple diagnostic method in circulatory disorders of liver.

환경부 식물구계학적 특정식물 종 중 Ⅳ등급 2종과 Ⅴ등급 종은 5종으로 총 7종이 확인 되었다. 멸종위기 Ⅱ급종은 미선나무(Abeliophyllum distichum) 1종이 조사 되었으며, 그 외 산림청이 지정한 희귀식물은 5종이었다. 북한산은 남부형 식물인 서어나무, 산딸나무, 때죽나무 및 초피나무 등의 북한계 선상에 위치하는 종들이 분포하는 국립공원으로 식물지리학적으로 중요하며, 확인된 소산식물은 103과 362속 541종 87변종 10품종으로 총 638종류이었다. 귀화식물은 총 16과 52속 54종 4변종 58종류로 귀화율은 9.09%, 도시화지수는 20.21%로 나타났다. The Specific Plant Species such as Ⅳ degree (2 species) and Ⅴ degree (5 species) which is categorized by the Ministry of Environment are appeared as 7 species. Ⅱ degree species among Endangered species of wild flora is Abeliophyllum distichum, and the Rare and Endangered Species which is categorized by the Korea Forest Service are enlisted as the five taxa. The Bukhansan is one of the phytogeographically important areas among national parks of Korea because this region is located in the northern limit of Southern Plant Types, such as Carpinus laxiflora, Cornus kousa, Styrax japonica and Zanthoxylum piperitum. The flora of the area was enlisted as 638 taxa, 103 families, 362 genera, 541 species, 87 varieties, and 10 forms. Naturalized Species was identified as 58 taxa, 16 families, 52 genera, 54 species and 4 varieties. The Ratio of Naturalized and Urbanization Index was 9.09% and 20.21%, respectively.

The protective effect of human urinary trypsin inhibitor(LTI) on acute hemorrhagic shock in beagle dog was studied. Hemorrhagic shock was experimentally induced in thoracotomized beagle dogs by removing blood and maintaining low arterial blood pressure for 30 min, and then blood removed was entirely transfused back into the dogs within one hour. When the blood was transfused, UTI was administered together to check the potential protective effect of UTI on hemorrhagic shock. The arterial blood pressure recovery was accelerated slightly by UTI treatment. Blood pH and P_aco₂ returned to normal level in shorter time in the UTI treatment group. These data suggest that UTI may have protective effects on experimentally induced hemorrhagic shock.
