        대두 calmoduine유전자 SCaM-5를 발현하는 형질전환 토마토의 병 저항성 검정

        농작물 생산에 있어서 병원균 침입에 의한 피해를 줄이는 것은 아주 중요한 과제이다. 식물은 스스로도 생체 방어 신호 전달 기작을 가지고 있지만 그 피해를 줄이는데 있어서 한계가 있다. 본 연구는 콩과 식물에서 분리한 식물생체방어 신호전달 유전자인 SCaM-5를 토마토에 형질전환하여 형질전환 식물체를 작성하고 병 저항성에 관한 실험을 수행한 것이다. SCaM-5 유전자가 형질전환 된 토마토에서는 pathogen-related(PR-5) 유전자를 항상 발현시킴으로서 계속적으로 식물 생체방어 신호기작을 활성 시킨다는 사실을 확인하였다. 또한, SCaM-5를 형질전환 시킨 토마토는 식물에 막대한 피해를 주는 중요한 곰팡이 (P. capsici와 F. oxysporm)와 bacteria (Pst DC3000)에 대하여 병 저항성을 가진다는 것을 검증하였다. The calmodulin as a Ca$^{2+}$-binding protein mediates cellular Ca$^{2+}$ signals in response to a wide array of stimuli in higher eukaryotes. Plants produce numerous calmodulin isoforms that exhibit differential gene expression patterns and sense different Ca$^{2+}$ signals. SCaM-5 is a soybean calmodulin that is involved in plant defense signaling. Here, we constructed a SCaM-5 CDNA under control of CaMV 35S promoter and transformed it into tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum). The constitutive over-expression of SCaM-5 in tomato plants exhibited a high levels of pathogenesis-related (PR) gene expression, and conferred an enhanced resistance to two fungal pathogen (Phytophthora capsici, Fusarium oxysporum), and a bacterial pathogen, Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato DC3000. Thus, this results collectively suggest that SCaM-5 plays an important role in plant defense of tomato.

        신생아에서 수신증의 심한 정도와 방광요관역류 존재와의 연관성

        Purpose : The increasing use of ultrasonography has allowed for an increase in the of the detection of congenital hydronephrosis, and the clinical outcomes of congenital hydronephrosis are widely varied. In this study, the necessity of voiding cystourethrography in neonate with hydronephrosis to rule out vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) was evaluated. Methods : Between January 2004 and December 2007, we reviewed the medical record of 157 childrens with congenital hydronephrosis detected within 1 month of age. The severity of hydronephrosis was graded by SFU (Society of Fetal Urology) system, and anterior posterior pelvic diameter (APPD). We evaluated the relationship between severity of hydronephrosis and incidence of VUR by using SPSS windows version 16.0. A P-value<0.05 is considered to be statistically significant. Results : Total renal unit number was 254, and 20(7.8%) renal units had VUR. We did not find any relationship between hydronephrosis grade the presence of VUR grade (P>0.05). In addition, there was no statistical significance between APPD, laterality of hydronephrosis and VUR incidence. However, renal units with VUR had lower spontaneous resolution rate (P<0.05), compared to renal units without VUR. Conclusion : In this study, there was no statistical significance between the severity of hydronephrosis and presence of VUR. Therefore, voiding cystourethrogram is recommended for all children with hydronephrosis to rule out VUR, regardless of the severity of hydronephrosis. 목 적 : 산전 초음파 이용의 증가로 인하여 선천성 수신증 발견 빈도가 증가하고 있고 VUR이 수신증의 원인 중 하나이다. 본 연구에서는 선천성 수신증의 정도와 VUR의 연관성을 조사하여 배뇨성 방광요도 조영술의 필요성을 알아보고자 하였다. 방 법 : 2004년 1월 1일 부터 2007년 12월 31일 까지 생후 1개월 이내에 선천성 수신증이 진단된 157명의 환아 254구의 신장을 대상으로 수신증의 등급 및 신우 전후직경이 VUR의 빈도와 연관성이 있는지를 연구하였다. 통계 분석은 SPSS 16.0을 이용하여 Chi-Square 법, ANOVA 법으로 분석하였으며, P값이 0.05 미만인 경우를 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 분석하였다. 결 과 : 수신증이 있는 254구의 신장 중 7.8%에 해당하는 20구의 신장에서 VUR이 동반되었다. 수신증 등급과 신우 전후직경은 VUR의 빈도와는 의미있는 상관관계가 없었고, 좌측이 우측보다 수신증의 정도와 VUR 등급이 유의하게 높았으며 VUR이 존재하는 경우 수신증의 자연 소실률이 현저히 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 결 론 : 본 연구에서 수신증 등급과 VUR의 유무와는 통계적 유의성이 없었다. 따라서 수신증의 심한 정도에 관계없이 모든 환아에서 VUR 유무를 확인하기 위해 배뇨성 방광요도조영술은 시행되어야 한다.

      • A Study on Cerebral palsied children's Visual Perception

        This study was to investigate the dffects of a color reversal visual perceptual training program on spastic cerebral palsied children's figure-ground discrimination disabilities and to investigate the difference between the control group and experimental group. Subjects of the study were composed of children with spastic cerebral palsy whose age varied from five to seven years old, whose I.Q. was over 70 and whose P.Q. was over 70. Implication of this study can be summarized as follows; First, Perceptual training and speech training programs should be emphasized to improve the preparative ability of spastic cerebral palsied children. Problems of perception cerebral palsied children are concerned with figure-ground discrimination disability. Second, Though it was demonstrated that color reversal visual perceptual training program can be effective through the prestudies and this study, more researches should be made to apply this kind of theory in real education environments. More interest in different color forms for training of cerebral palsied children should be taken. Third, Reprecations of the study should be considered with modified group identities(age, I.Q., P.Q.).

        시판 3D Spacer Fabrics의 기능성 의복에의 적용 가능성 확인을 위한 물성평가

        In this study, the physical properties of commercially available 3D spacer fabrics are analyzed, and their applicability to functional apparel is investigated. Six samples were prepared by purchasing four types of 3D spacer fabric with different thicknesses and surface structures (A1, B1, C1, and D1). Moreover, A2 and B2 are produced by two layers of A1 and B1, respectively, and their applicability to functional apparel was examined through the evaluation of the tensile strength, elongation, air permeability, Q-max, and thermal insulation. In addition, based on these, 3D spacer fabric modeling for 3D printing was attempted. It was observed that the tensile strength was higher in the wale direction than in the course direction, and it increased with increasing thickness. The elongation was the highest in C1, with large surface holes and low density. The air permeability was also the highest in C1, with large holes and relatively high thickness. It was observed that the air permeability of A1 and B1 significantly decreased when they were two layered fabrics. With regard to the Q-max, C1 and D1, which were thick samples, exhibited high warm feeling, while A1 and B1, which were thin samples, exhibited high cold touch. Finally, the thermal insulation was the highest in D1, which was the thickest sample, demonstrating a positive correlation with thickness and volume. As a result, considering the advantageous properties of each sample and the related specific performance required for functional apparel obtained from the above results, it was confirmed that the 3D spacer fabric could be applied to functional apparel.

        Recently many studys have been continued Nak-Dong river. This study recognized the importance about a rivers floor change. The Nak-Dong main river of railroad bridge(2.423Km) waegwan-eup, Cilgok-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do analyzed to the SED2D-WES model. This study recognized the difference of the model according to the existence and nonexistence of the bridge piers. At a result of mean velocity current is higher in bridge option appeared in this case. As well sediment transportation model show that river bed change appear the part of velocity is low.

        키네시오테이핑이 전방머리자세에 미치는 영향

        Background : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of the kinesio taping on the forward head posture and to reduce secondary pain and attitude transformation by applying kinesio taping. Methods : The subjects were the C university students(n = 30) in Chung-buk district without medical history. They were divided into two groups:experimental group(N = 15) and control group(N = 15). Control group was heard verbal instructions to keep right attitude and Experimental group was applied to kinesio taping. Change of an attitude, such as an angle, distance, CROM, CVA, CRA prices, before and after experiment was measured respectively. Result : The results of this study showed that in comparison of pre and post changes, experimental group noticeable changes in angle, CROMSI and CVA(p<.05). Angle, CROMSI and CVA were significant differed between groups(p<.05). Conclusion : Kinesio taping application was seemed to be effective on the improvement of forward head position. Therefore, it is suggested that Kinesio taping application should be one the potential methods to facillitate the forward head position. Comprehensive research is required about a point of time and duration for intervention in clinical approach for subjects.

      • 2기의 초소형 인공위성 CINEMA 운용을 위한 단일 RF Chain 구축

        TRIO-CINEMA(TRiplet Ionospheric Observatory-Cubesat for Ion, Neutral, Electron, MAgnetic fields)는 중량 3 kg의 초소형 인공위성 3기로 구성되며, 그 임무는 근 지구 플라즈마 입자 검출 및 자기장계측이다. 3기 중 1기는 UC Berkeley에서, 2기는 경희대학교에서 제작 및 운용된다. 경희대학교 천문대에 IGSS(Integrated Ground Support Software), TNC(Terminal Node Controller), 송신기, 안테나제어기와 안테나로 구성된 지상국을 구축하였으며 위성에 명령을 전달하는 기능을 수행한다. 위성으로부터 데이터 수신은 한국천문연구원의 안테나와 수신기를 이용할 예정이다. 2기의 위성을 하나의 지상국에서 운용하기 위해서는 각 위성에 대한 송신 주파수 변경 및 패스스케줄(pass schedule) 조정이 필요하며, 이를 수행할 수 있는 RF Chain을 구축하였다. 본 연구는 RF Chain 구축과 검증과정을 기술하였으며, 시스템의 검증으로 원거리 필드 테스트, 데이터 통신 테스트, 링크 여유 분석 등을 수행하였다.

        3차원 프린팅을 이용한 어린이용 무릎보호대의 분절형 하드쉘 설계

        This study applied a segmented hard shell design on knee protectors for children with the objective of increasing mobility. The prototype of the hard shell that does not correspond to movement of the body among components of the knee protector was developed. Surface modeling was conducted based on 3D knee data to enhance comfort through optimized fit on the knee joint where the hard shell would be worn. For this, previous studies on changes in skin near the knee joint during knee flexion were reviewed to establish basic segmental lines. The basic design included six segments, and the number of segments was used as the design variable by increasing or decreasing it to 0, 3, 6, 9, and 14 segments. A prototype was produced from 3D printing with TPU material, worn for wearing assessment. Results revealed fewer numbers of segments resulting in less fit with the body, while actual appearance was stable. Meanwhile, the number of proper segments improved better fit with the body during movement. The wearing assessment revealed the amount of gap reflects change in skin length depending on movement. Assessment results demonstrated basic segment design, S6 with 6 segments, had the best design and most optimized fit. Findings in this study can provide key data for designing knee protection products for children.
