        철도안전법의 제작자 승인 기술기준에 대한 연구

        The amended law of railway safety in Korea has recently come into effect in order to strengthen the railway safety management system. The new law, which took effect March 1, 2014, will implement stricter oversight of railway companies. As a result, a company that manufactures railroad system or components for domestic use must obtain an approval in accordance with the technical specifications of manufacturer approval. Although Korea had established the legal system in enforcing railway safety, the government wants the companies continue to develop the more improved safety systems until they gain competitive edge on the world class railway manufacturers. This paper presents an in-depth analysis of the technical specifications for manufacturer approval in International Railway Industry Standard (IRIS), which is the global standard. This paper also proposes measures and guidelines that would help Korean manufacturers those who want further develop their safety management systems, as a prerequisite for them to obtain the manufacturer approval.

        LCD 모니터 공정자동화 장비의 안전성에 대한 CE 인증

        In order to distribute machinery to European Union, it is mandatory to get CE marking to ensure the machinery is safe and reliable. The EHSR(Essential Health and Safety Requirements) of the EC Machinery Directive requires the machinery to be designed and manufactured to prevent from any dangerous situation. This study presents a case of CE Certification in Back Cover Nut Insert Machine and introduces an improvement method of product safety and reliability. This study also presents how to eliminate the deficiencies in design and manufacturing, and the process of applying EHSR for CE Marking.

        철도 승강설비의 고장률 예측 및 입증

        It is essential to estimate and validate of RAMS(reliability, availability, and maintainability) for elevating equipment, such as elevators and escalators. If it is not properly designed, manufactured and operated, the railway system cannot be safe and appropriately operated. Therefore, it is required to analyze the reliability and availability of designs and systems, identifying failures, assessing their consequences and developing appropriate control measures. This paper proposes a method to estimate and validate the failure rate of elevating equipment for railway systems. To validate the reliability levels asked by railway operating agencies, quantitative reliability should be estimated according to IEC 62278. We present FTA(fault tree analysis) and FRACAS(failure reporting, analysis, and corrective action system) for estimating failure rate on component level and improving the system reliability. The process that we presented in this paper is useful for analysing failure data, developing reliability predictions and implementing reliability improvement programmes.

        Recently, Germany, India, Russia, France, USA, Spain, etc. due to the railway accident that occurred around the world, the need for enhanced railway safety are among the many railway accidents occurring in the country is being raised. Korea Railway Safety law, as amended in the implementation of the 2012 March 2014 defines the requirements necessary to ensure the railway safety and railway safety laws amended in order to contribute to the promotion of the public welfare by establishing a railway safety management system enforced who want to create a railway vehicle shall be operated in accordance with the domestic producers approved. Provide a legal basis for ensuring railway safety as one of the world"s highest goal was to have the competitive advantage of the advanced railway company in order to continue to develop the safety management system of the railway industry. To remain competitive, review the contents of the authors and approved for domestic production as compared with railways outside world class railway standard IRIS future production of the guide rail companies and domestic producers for the content of the Quality Management System to be provided to the manufacturer approval proposes a plan for the development of a quality management system.

        도시철도 승강장 스크린도어의 시스템보증 사례 연구

        This paper presents a case study of PSD(Platform Screen Door) system assurance based on EN50126 life-cycle stage. By applying this system assurance, the accidents related to urban light transit railway especially that caused casualties could be reduced tremendously. This case study contributes significantly to the reliability, availability, maintainability and safety of the PSD system. Request For Proposal (RFP) of a rail road operator in which required by RAMS is prepared in which to ensure all system assurance activity and safety assessment are compulsory. The step-by-step activities and related deliverables are used which include functional analysis, FMECA, hazard identification analysis, system hazard analysis, maintainability analysis, FRACAS, and finally verification and validation of the system.

        도시철도 승강설비의 가용성, 유지보수성 및 안전성 입증

        Purpose: In order to fulfill the RAMS (Reliability Availability Maintainability and Safety) requirements in Korean railway systems, specific target metrics should be measured and met the requirements when ordering a new system. This paper presents a procedure to predict and demonstrate the availability, maintainability and safety of subway elevators, escalators and PSD (platform screen doors) systems. Methods: The system manufacturer predicts availability and maintainability with lab and field tested data. After installation, availability and maintainability are demonstrated based on the actual operational data. The data was collected from the FRACAS (Failure Report and Corrective Action System). Results: Methods and process of assessing and analyzing the availability, maintainability and safety are presented for elevating services and PSD systems. The data obtained through the actual operation of the equipment is analyzed and maintained to predict the RAMS based on the component and system level failure data acquired. Conclusion: This study presented an application using IEC 62278 and operational data which can be used in the design and development stage to achieve the RAMS target value of the subway elevators, escalators and PSD systems.

        스트레치 직물의 역학적 특성 및 봉제성능 평가

        This study investigated mechanical properties, drape coefficients and node indices of stretch fabrics. We applied mechanical properties to exhibited tailorability control in HESC and evaluated making-up. The mechanical properties such as tensile, bending, shearing, compression, surface characteristic values, thickness and weight were measured by the KES-F system and drape coefficient by drape tester. The summarized results of this study were as follows; First, stretch fabrics, almost, shown high stretch in weft inserted polyurethane yarn fabric and had a ±2σ(sigma) range of shearing, compression, surface and thickness, except bending and weight, as compared with Japanese women's thin dress fabrics. Second, bending had a positive correlation in stiffness, anti-drape and flexibility & softness. Shearing had a negative correlation in crispness and scroop. Surface properties had a high contribution in fullness & softness. Third, The drape coefficient was found by measuring the mechanical properties according to the obtained regression equation. Forth, many problems are expected in overfeed and cutting operations in sewing process. In the decision of the good external appearance using TVA, only 26 of 55 samples are included in the range of the good external appearance. Fifth, in the regard of the result for sewing control, warp values are not necessary to control in the all kind of items. But weft value in the RT and EM are out of non-control zone. So we need a special management during sewing process.
