        국소의치상을 위한 연성 이장재사용시 교합압에 따른 의치상 변위(Displacement)량 비교

        The purpose of this study was to determine how to use soft relining material by observing an amount of denture displacement according to the different base area of residual ridge and thickness of soft relining material under masticatory force. Stone models that simulated residual ridge were made with different amount of denture base area and denture was fabricated by conventional heat curing resin with usual manner on the model and relined by silicone type soft relining material with different thickness. Specimen was examined the amount of denture displacement by Instron within range of normal occlusal force. The results were as following : 1. The increasing rate of denture displacement was higher than that of soft relining material thickness. 2. The amount of denture displacement decreased 1.7 times when base area became double at same thickness of soft relining material 3. The increasing rate of denture displacement was higher than that of occlusal force

        Undercut양에 따른 Clasp유지력의 비교연구

        The purpose of this experimental study is to investigate the relationship between the retentive capacity of clasp and the different undercuts. The author measured the retentive power of Aker's clasp and I-bar clasp of chromium cobalt alloy and gold alloy, varying the undercut depth of 0.125mm, 0.25mm and 0.5mm, and then analyzed statistically. The results were followings. 1. The retentive capacity of chromium cobalt alloy clasps were almost twice as much of gold alloy in each undercut. 2. The retention power of I-bar clasp were higher than Aker's clasp in each undercuts. 3. Increasing the depth of undercut in 0.125mm, 0.25mm and 0.5mm, the clasps did not always exert the multiple amount of the retentive power.

        Bacillus amyloliquefaciens 에 의한 카드뮴의 생물학적 제거

        Bacillus amyloliquefaciens has a high biosorptive potential for heavy metals, e.g. cadmium, lead, mercury, copper and zinc. Cadmium adsorption by freeze dried cells of B. amyloliquefaciens, obtained from aerobic cultures, was examined. in batches with 0.2mM metal ion concentration 23.5 to 56.2㎎ of heavy metal ions was bound with 1 gram of dry biomass within a pH range of 5 to 6. Protein fraction of the cell wall contributes to the biosorptive potential. B. amyloliquefaciens adsorbed cadmium ion selectively over other alkaline metal ions such as K^+1, Na^+1, Mg^+2 and Ca^+2. All of the treated heavy metal ions; mercury, lead, zinc, or copper shows sharp decline biosorptive potential of B. amyloliquefaciens. It was confirmed by using instrumental analysis including EDX and SEM that B. amyloliquefaciens adsorbed cadmium ions on the surface of itself.

        CO 합성을 위한 저급석탄-CO<sub>2</sub> 촉매 가스화 반응

        본 연구에서는 합성가스 CO를 생산하기 위해 저급 석탄-$CO_2$ 촉매 가스화 실험을 수행하였다. 제조된 CO가스 특성은 키데코 탄과 신화 탄에 KOH, $K_2CO_3$, $Na_2CO_3$ 촉매들의 화학적 활성화 방법을 이용하여 조사되었다. CO 제조공정은 석탄과 화학약품 활성화 비율, 가스 유량, $CO_2$ 전환 반응온도와 같은 실험 변수 분석을 통해 최적화되었다. 제조된 합성 가스는 가스 크로마토그래피(GC)에 의해 분석 되었다. 실험조건 $T=950^{\circ}C$, $CO_2$ 유량 100 cc/min에서, 20 wt% $Na_2CO_3$가 혼합된 키데코 탄에 대해 98.6%, 20 wt% KOH가 혼합된 신화탄에 대한 98.9% $CO_2$ 전환율을 얻었다. 또한, 저급 석탄-촉매 가스화 반응은 동일한 공급 비와 반응 조건에서 97.8%, 98.8%의 CO 선택도를 얻었다. In this study, the experiments on optimal CO gas synthesis were conducted using low grade coal-$CO_2$ catalyst gasification reaction. The characteristics of generated CO gas were investigated using the chemical activation method of KOH, $K_2CO_3$, $Na_2CO_3$ catalysts with Kideco and Shewha coal. The preparation process has been optimized through the analysis of experimental variables such as ratio between activating chemical agents and coal, the flow rate of gas and reaction temperature during $CO_2$ conversion reaction. The produced CO gas was analysed by Gas Chromatography (GC). The 98.6% $CO_2$ conversion for Kideco coal mixed with 20 wt% $Na_2CO_3$ and 98.9% $CO_2$ conversion for Shenhua coal mixed with 20 wt% KOH were obtained at the conditions of $T=950^{\circ}C$ and $CO_2$ flow rate of 100 cc/min. Also, the low grade coal-$CO_2$ catalytic gasification reaction showed the CO selectivities(97.8 and 98.8 %) at the same feed ratio and reaction conditions.

        가상현실을 이용한 압축 실험에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 가상 현실(virtual reality)을 활용하여 실제 고가의 실험장비를 구입하지 않고도 개인용 컴퓨터에서 인터넷상으로 가상적인 프레스를 이용한 압축실험을 할 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 가상압축실험의 구현은 인터넷을 통하여 세 개의 모듈 즉 입력, 계산, 결과로 나누어 계산되어진다. 입력모듈에서는 압축실험을 위하여 인터넷 사용자가 재료의 실험적인 특징을 입력하고 그 입력 값을 서버 컴퓨터로 보내주는 과정이며, 계산모듈은 서버 컴퓨터에 있는 시뮬레이션 해석프로그램을 이용하여 입력모듈의 입력 값을 받아들여 결과를 계산한 후 파일로 저장하는 과정이다. 결과모듈에서는 서버 컴퓨터에서 계산된 결과를 인터넷 사용자에게 도표와 그림 그리고 3차원 애니메이션을 보여주는 과정으로 되어있다. 이를 구현하기 위하여 인터넷의 언어인 HTML, CGI, VRML, JAVA를 사용하였으며, 유한요소법(FEM)을 이용한 해석프로그램은 포트란(Fortran) 언어로 제작되었다. 현재 인터넷상에서의 가상현실을 이용한 응용분야가 급속히 확대되므로 앞으로 공학적인 가상 실험에 관한 연구가 많이 이루어져 실제 실험을 대체할 것이다. This paper is concerned with the compression test such as compression and ring compression tests, by using virtual reality. Engineering material laboratory can be carried out on personal computer without the real expensive experiment devices. The virtual laboratory is composed of three modules as input, calculation and output module on internet. Internet user can give the material's property and other parameters to the server computer at the input module. On the calculation module, simulator cimputes the results by analysis program and store the data as a file. The output module is the program that internet user can confirm a virtual compression results by showing a table, graph, and 3D animation. This program is designed by Internet language such as HTML, CGI, VRML, JAVA. And analysis program uses the finite element method with fortran language. Since the study of virtual reality on internet is rapidly increasing, the virtual experiment of technique will substitute many real experiments in the future.

        유리단 국소의치 환자에서 T-scan system을 이용한 중심교합시에 교합접촉 양상 연구

        This clinical study was to analyze occlusal contacts in maximum intercuspation on distal extension partial denture and to compare tooth contact state between the denture teeth and abutment teeth by time mode and force mode using the T-scan system. The subjects ware twenty-one adult patients with upper natural teeth and lower distal extension partial denture. Conclusion : 1. The patient with simultaneous occlusal contacts both denture tooth and abutment and bilaterally in Kennedy Class I cases was one-sixth, but there was no one with symmetric occlusal and equal force among bilateral denture teeth and abutments. 2. The five-fifteenth of Kennedy Class I case patients resulted in simultaeous occlusal contacts bet-ween denture teeth and abutments but no one has the symmetric occlusal contacts and unifarm force between denture teeth and abutment teeth.

        Occlusal Rehabilitation의 증례(症例)

        The author has corrected the patient of severe deep overbites by means of occlusal rehabilitation. The satisfied results obtained as follows; 1. The loss of occlusal surface due to occlusal wear rehabilitated anatomically, biologically and mechanically. 2. Decreased occlusal vertical dimension restored 2mm without inpairments of condylar function. 3. The satisfied masticatory efficiency will be obtained by changing the free way space from 7mm to 2mm. 4. The healthiness of periodontal structures maintained with the aid of most equitable distribution of masticatory forces.

        Studies on the Microbial Pigment (V) The effect of some detergent on pigment formation in Serratia marcescens strain P

        In order to study on the pigment formation of Serratia marcescens, the synthesis of prodigiosin was examined in the presence of a wide range of concentration of detergents. A high elevation of pigment formation was obtained in case of the treatment with SDC and SAP. And the population growth of the bacteria was increased by SDC and SAP, in the concentration of optimum concentration of pigment formation. The alkaline phosphatase activity was also increased in the treatment of SAP, SDC and SDS. The possible mechanism of the detergents on enhancement of pigment formation could be explained by an increase of enzyme activity and membrane transport.

        이차전지 음극용 화학적 활성화법으로 제조된 활성탄의 전기화학적 특성

        In this study, several kinds of active carbons with high specific surface area and micro pore structure were prepared from the coconut shell charcoal using chemical activation method. The physical property of prepared active carbon was investigated by experimental variables such as activating chemical agents to char coal ratio, flow rate of inert gas and temperature. It was shown that chemical activation with KOH and NaOH was successfully able to make active carbons with high surface area of $1900{\sim}2500m^2/g$ and mean pore size of 1.85~2.32 nm. The coin cell using water-based binder in the electrolyte of LiPF6 dissolved in mixed organic solvents (EC:DMC:EMC=1:1:1 vol%) showed better capacity than that of oil-based binder. Also, it was found that the coin cell of water-based binder shows an improved cycling performance and coulombic efficiency.

        석탄을 사용한 CO가스 제조를 위한 CO<sub>2</sub> 전환기술

        본 연구에서는 이산화탄소와 석탄을 사용하여 합성가스 CO를 생산하는 실험을 수행하였다. CO 합성특성은 KOH 촉매를 사용한 화학적 활성화 방법에 의해 조사되었으며, 제조공정은 $CO_2$ 전환반응에서 석탄과 활성화 촉매 비율, 가스 유량과 반응온도 등과 같은 실험변수들을 분석함으로서 최적화되었다. KOH 촉매를 사용하지 않은 경우, 반응온도 $950^{\circ}C$와 $CO_2$ 유량 300 cc/min에서 65% $CO_2$ 전환율을 얻었으며, 반면에 촉매를 사용한 경우 같은 반응조건에서 98.1%의 전환율을 얻었다. 석탄의 활성화촉매 반응물의 비(석탄 : KOH = 4 : 1)가 다른 반응물 비에 대해 더 좋은 $CO_2$ 전환율과 CO 선택도 보여줌을 알 수 있었다. In this study, the experiment of CO production was performed using carbon dioxide and coal. The synthesis characteristics of CO gas was investigated using the chemical activation method of KOH. The preparation process has been optimized through the analysis of experimental variables such as activating chemical agents to coal ratio, the flow rate of gas and reaction temperature during $CO_2$ conversion reaction. Without the catalyst of KOH, the 66.7% of $CO_2$ conversion was obtained at the conditions of $T=950^{\circ}C$ and $CO_2$ flow rate of 300 cc/min. On the other hand, the 98.1% of $CO_2$ conversion was obtained using catalyst of KOH at same conditions. It was found that the feed ratio(Coal : KOH = 4 : 1) had better $CO_2$ conversion and CO selectivity than other feed ratios.
