        GIS를 활용한 해양환경관리에 관한 연구 I - LDI 알고리즘 적용을 위한 보간법에 관한 연구 -

        Today, satellite remote sensing (RS) and geographic information systems (GIS) plays an important role as an advanced science and technology. This study was developed a Line Density Algorithm which was clarify and describe the thermal front by using NOAA SST (sea surface temperature) and GIS spatial analysis for systemic and effective management of fish raising industry and sea environmental pollution by land reclamation program. Before this, a study about a interpolation method was carry out which was very important for estimate the hidden value between a special point. For this study Inverse Distance Weighted interpolation, Spline interpolation, Kriging interpolation methods were choose and SST data from 2001 to 2004 in spring (March, April, May) were analyzed. According to the study Kriging interpolation method was the very adaptive method from a practical point of view and excellent in description and precision then others. Finally, the result of this study will be use for develope the Line Density Index Algorism.

      • 단안 외전신경마비를 보이는 뇌경색 환자 치험 1례

        ■ Objective This is a case report about monocular abducens nerve palsy in a patient with pontine infarction. ■ Method At the time of onset, the patient had eye movement impairment in right eye and diplopia. Brain MRI image showed that there was an infarction in the right pons where the nucleus of abducens nerve is located. There was no obvious improvement in the eye movement before he received Korean medicine treatment. He recieved Korean medicine including acupuncture, electroacupuncture, pharmacoacupuncture and herb medicines for fifty three days. ■ Result After treatment, the movement of right eye was improved to a normal range. The difference in distance from 'center of the pupil' to 'external canthus of the eye' at maximum abducent in both eye changed 0.9cm to 0.1cm at the discharge. In addition, Diplopia was improved at the discharge. ■ Conclusion This case report demonstrated that the Korean medicine treatment is effective to diplopia and eye movement impairment from abducens nerve palsy caused by pontine infarction.

        방실차단에 의한 서맥을 보이는 환자 한방 치험 1례

        This is a case report of a 57-year-old patient diagnosed with bradycardia and atrioventricular (AV) block. The chief complaint of the patient was palpitation and dizziness. An electrocardiogram (ECG) showed a second degree AV block with 2:1 AV conduction. The patient was treated with Korean medicine, including herbal medicine, for 35 days. After 2 weeks of treatment, the heart rate increased from 33 to 56 and the follow-up electrocardiogram showed normal findings. The symptoms of palpitation and dizziness were also improved. The effect on heart rate, ECG, and symptoms lasted until the end of the treatment. This case report demonstrated that Korean medicine could be effective for treatment of symptomatic bradycardia with AV block.

        귀비탕 가미방을 포함한 한방치료로 호전된 알코올성 치매 환자 1례

        Objectives: This clinical study describes the effect of Korean medicine on a patient with alcohol-related dementia.Methods: A patient with cognitive disorder and memory impairment due to alcohol abuse was treated with the herbal medicine “Gami Gwibi-tang”, acupuncture, and moxibustion, together with basic Western medicine. The patient’s cognitive function was evaluated by the Mini-Mental State Examination-Korean (MMSE-K) and Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR). Brain Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) was used to estimate the severity of structural brain damage.Results: Following treatment with Gami Gwibi-tang, patent’s MMSE-K score and CDR improved.Conclusion: This clinical case study provides evidence of the effect of Korean medicine, including Gwibi-tang-gami, on alcohol-related dementia.

      • GIS을 활용한 해양환경관리에 관한 연구 II (해수면 수온분포의 정량화를 위한 선 밀도 알고리즘 개발)

        A Line Density algorithm was developed to quantify the sea surface temperature distribution using NOAA Sea Surface Temperature(SST) data and Geographic Information Systems(GIS), In addition, a GIS based automation model was designed to extract the Line Density Indices were determined by applying K-means Cluster. SST data in terms of March to May obtained on the coastal area of the Uljin from 2001 to 2004 in spring were used to make two data sets of average sea water temperature map in terms of year as well as month. From the result it was formed that water temperature gradient in April was the strongest among the other months, In particular very strog formation of oceanic front as well as temperature gradients were observed in front of the coastal area around Wonduk and Jukbyeon countries. Because those coastal area is a confront zone of two cold and a warm. It is expected that the development of a Line Density Algorithm would contribute to quantify of the SST for the research of Sea Surface Front(SSF) related to marine life management and the sea environmental conservation.

      • 일본인의 집단적 무의식(원형)에 관한 고찰

        하나의 민족에게는 고유한 원형(原型)이 존재하여 비슷한 역사적 국면에서 같은 패턴을 되풀이하는 경향이 있다. 일본인의 원형은 기독교의 일본 내 선교를 좌절시켰다. ‘섬’이라는 지정학적 위치는 강대국의 압박에 노출되지 않고, 또 밖으로부터 무엇이든 받아들이지만 받아들인 것들을 변조하는 능력과 실용적으로 처리하는 능력을 키울 수 있었다. 열도의 풍토는 신불혼효(神仏混淆) 신앙을 탄생시켰다. 대립과 긴장의 역사·문화로 인해 생긴 두려움과 조심성은 현실을 그대로 받아들이는 체념의 철학이 생겨난 원인이 되었다. 14세기 일본 사회는 도 문화가 형성되어 계단적 상달(階段的 上達) 과정을 거치며, 종교적 깨달음을 얻고자 하는 일본 특유의 ‘도 문화’를 만들었다. 일본의 원형은 대륙 주변의 섬이라는 지정학적 특성과 일본의 혹독한 자연조건과 대립과 긴장의 역사·문화로 인해 생긴 관습(慣習)이 집단 무의식에 각인되어 변조하는 능력과 실용적 사고능력, 체념의 미학과 현실을 초월하여 자신만의 길을 가는 ‘도’ 문화를 만들었으며, 순응하고 조심하는 지혜를 몸에 익혔다. Since an ethnic group has its own archetype, they tend to repeat the same pattern in similar historical conditions. In the case of Japanese people, their archetype served to frustrate the Christian mission in their country. The geopolitical feature of Japan as an island enabled the Japanese people to avoid the pressure of great powers. In addition, while the Japanese remained receptive to anything new from the outside, they developed the ability to transform and practically apply what they accepted following their own way. Meanwhile, the climate of the island gave birth to the unique belief system that combines Buddhism and Shintoism (shinbutsu konkou). The sense of fear and attentiveness rooted in the history and culture of confrontation and tension led to the development of a philosophy of resignation that accepts reality as it is. In the 14th century, the Japanese society saw the formation of the “do” (lit. the way) culture unique to Japan that involved a phased training system to reach religious enlightenment. Under the influence of their archetype, the Japanese people developed an ability to transform foreign cultures into their own, a practical thinking capacity, an aesthetics of resignation, and the do culture to transcend reality and pioneer their own way, due to the custom created by the geopolitical feature of their country as an island in the vicinity of continents, harsh natural conditions of the island, and the history and culture of confrontation and tension that was imprinted on their collective unconscious, while practicing the wisdom of adaptation to the given condition and attentiveness.

        로버트 프로스트의 시에 나타난 고독과 자기 긍정

        This paper aims at analyzing multiple levels of meaning conveyed through the poetic speaker’s loneliness in Robert Frost’s poems. The circumstances surrounding the speaker’s solitude vary widely, but in most cases, the speaker concentrates on himself in the isolated situation. Also, the solitary experience leads the speaker to become keenly aware of the others’ existence, realizing other people’s somewhat hostile view of himself. Yet, instead of succumbing to the others’ perception, the speaker attempts to interpret the individual experience in his own way and ultimately arrives at the moment of self-affirmation. Some of his earlier poems, such as “Into My Own” and “The Self-Seeker,” share similar impulses that allow the speaker to search for his own identity and confront a solitary situation in this process. “The Road Not Taken” displays how the speaker invests his past choice with personal meaning and constructs a positive form of autobiographical narrative. “For Once, Then, Something” highlights the speaker’s somewhat proud affirmation of individual experience distinguished from the others’ generalized perspective on the world. Frost’s later poems, such as “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening,” “Acquainted with the Night,” and “Desert Places,” present extremely isolated circumstances that nonetheless provide the speaker with an opportunity to embrace a precious moment of self-affirmation. Through a careful reading of Frost’s poetry, one can understand the ways in which loneliness paradoxically leads to profound experience of self-discovery.

        일본 중세 무(武)의 문화는 살상(殺傷)을 위한 실용 문화였다. 그러나 이것은 근세에 이르러 예도문화(藝道文化)로 변화한다. 무(武)가 실용문화에서 예도문화(藝道文化)로 변해가는 과정에서 가장 현저한 차이를 보이는 것은 승부에 임하는 마음 가마에였다. 가마쿠라시대(膁瘡時代)의 무사도는 무사들의 신념체계 속에서 죽음의 공포감과 두려움으로부터 자유로운 마음을 추구하였다. 에도시대(江戶時代)가 되면서 무사도는 실전이 아니라 단련과 게이코(稽古)를 통해 평상심과 무념무상을 추구하였다. 에도시대 무사들의 게이코사상은 신체를 통해서 정신을 수련한다는 신심일원론(身心一元論)적 사고방식이다. 이것은 신체와 정신을 분리시켜 생각했던 서구의 심신이원론(心身二元論)과는 대조되는 것이다. 단련·게이코 사상은 ‘도(道)’를 충분히 체험 할 수 있는 것이며, 그 누구도 완전한 인간이 될 수 없다는 신념을 토대로 두고 있다. Warrior culture in medieval Japan was a practical culture for the purpose of shedding blood. In contrast, early modern warrior culturecould be called a culture of art. During the process of change from practical to artistic culture, there was also a change in the mental attitude present in samurai competition The bushido (way of the warrior) of the Kamakura era was based on emotion; part of their system of beliefs was an attitude that allowed them to be free from the fear of death. From the Edo era onwards, bushido came to have an attitude of serenity and presence of mind through training and practice. Samurai of the Edo era held a philosophy of unity of body and mind - training the spirit through the body by their methods of practiceand exercise. This stands in opposition to the separation of body and mind found in the dualism of the Cartesian school. Furthermore this later bushido philosophy is based on the belief that nobody is perfect and that the “way” can be fully experienced through training and practice.
