본 연구는 국내 9개 하천에서 실측한 자료를 사용하여 하상재료의 입경에 기초한 자갈하천의 조도계수 특성을 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 조도계수는 Manning 식을 역산하여 산정하였다. 산정된 조도계수는 유량에 따라 대체로 감소하였으며, 일정한 유량 이상에서는 수렴하는 특성을 나타냈다. 마찬가지로, 상대수심(R/D)이 증가함에 따라 조도계수는 감소하는 경향을 보여주었으며, 실측 자료를 이용하여 적합식을 구한 결과 Limerinos(1970) 식과 매우 유사한 결과를 보여주었다. 일정한 유량 이상에서 수렴된 조도계수값은 0.024~0.045의 범위에 있었으며, 이를 기초로 하상재료만을 고려한 조도계수 산정식을 도출하고 기존의 식과 비교하였다. The purpose of this study is to analyse characteristics of roughness coefficient based on bed-material size of the gravel-bed rivers using field data obtained from nine domestic rivers. Roughness coefficient is calculated using Manning's equation. Roughness coefficient decreases with increasing discharge, but above a certain discharge, it tends to be constant. Similarly, roughness coefficient shows reverse relationship with relative smoothness (R/D). The regression equation adopting theoretically derived value of 2.03 as log coefficient indicates close similarity with the previous equation proposed by Limerinos (1970). Roughness coefficient values converged above certain discharges lie in the range from 0.024 to 0.045. From them, empirical equations based only on bed-material size are derived and compared with those suggested by the previous studies.

??Cold rolled steel sheet for automotive was treated by Ar/O₂ atmospheric pressure plasma to improve the adhesive bonding strength. Through the contact angle test and calculation of surface free energy for cold rolled steel sheet, the changes of surface properties were investigated before and after plasma treatment. The contact angle was decreased and surface free energy was increased after plasma treatment. And the change of surface roughness and morphology were observed by AFM(Atomic Force Microscope). The surface roughness of steel sheet was slightly changed. Based on Taguchi method, single lap shear test was performed to investigate the effect of experimental parameter such as plasma power, treatment time and flow rate of O₂ gas. Results shows that the bonding strength of steel sheet treated in Ar/O₂ atmospheric pressure plasma was improved about 20% compared with untreated sheet.

Nowadays, multi-material design is a modem design concept in industry to achieve the purpose of product best, such as light-weight, cash and corrosion resistance. In this concept, a new joining method is required because of different mechanical and thermal properties of joined materials. Hybrid joining is a combination of at least two fundamental joining techniques. In this paper, the various hybrid joining methods and its joining operations are introduced such as weld-bonding, hybrid clinching, and self piercing rivet. Mechanical joining with adhesive bonding is a typical hybrid joining method. This approach is commonly adopted within the automotive and aerospace industries. Compared to solely mechanical joining method, the advantage of hybrid joining with adhesive bonding is increasing joint strength and durability and improving the ability to absorb energy under impact load. Compared to adhesive bonding method, the hybrid joining can achieve the relief of joint under peel loads and high static loads, extension of temperature range for application.
AR (augmented reality) Art and Imaginary Space

AR Art and Imaginary Spaces is an art exhibition for galleries and museums which includes a painting and an installation. The exhibition also includes hand drawing animations in Unity 3D using the Qualcom AR SDK, which are viewable on Android smart phones. I think that the adaptation of augmented reality (AR) technology can be a solution for the temporal and spatial limitations of colorless cubical spaces in galleries and museums. In AR Art and Imaginary Spaces, I explore the space of mixed reality with an artist’s imagination. In order to improve unique and immersive user experiences and active interactions, I want to present imaginary spaces and enable viewers to imagine their own spaces. I believe that by using AR technology, I will be able to lead the viewers into their own imagined worlds by sharing the messages and memories contained in my artwork.

The purpose of this study is to design multi-stage shape-drawing process for linear guide rail. The number of pass in multi-stage shape-drawing process was determined by capacity of drawing machine and shape-drawing force. The shape-drawing force was calculated by the section division method. The section shape of intermediate die was determined by equi-potential line in electric field analysis. The equivalent reduction ratio of area was employed to determine the section area of intermediate die. The FE-analysis and forming experiment were conducted to verify the multi-stage shape-drawing process designed by the proposed method. The shape-drawing forces in FE-analysis and experiment had a good agreement with prediction by the section division method. Un-filling rate of final product was less than about 1% of total section area.
