Pumping device is divided into parts as clutch parts and brake parts for high and low control of the seat. Pumping device is applied to various types of cars. Import the pumping device is expensive. Necessity of research in this area due to improvement of performance and structural improvement considering reducing weight and simplify. In this paper first consideration will be on pumping device working mechanism. By improving the brake shaft roller guide and connecting drum projection it is possible to improve the brake parts locking force. Simulation will prove the structural improvement of the brake parts locking force.

Recently, green growth, green energy become an hot issue in modern socity. Lightweight is very important problem for high fuel-efficiency with automobile . To solve the problem, many part makers have tried to develop the miniaturized part, materials or structure changes etc. Pumping device is one of the parts of cushion assy, that size is related to the cushion pannel size. In this paper first consideration will be on pumping device working mechanism. Compact type of brake parts is devised. To maintain the locking force, brake drum and spring structure are changed. Design parameters are suggested for smaller clutch, verified by computer simulation.
