        호기성 생물여과를 이용한 습지여상의 수질 정화 효과에 관한 연구

        For the water quality improvement study of the high-concentration polluted stream water and the non-point pollution source, we have tried to check the removal efficiency of the particulate, the organic material and the nutrient salts according to the EBCT (Empty Bed Contact Time) using the lab-scale biological aerated filter wetland reactor. In the case of the operation of the EBCT 24, 18 and 12hr, the SS removal efficiency has shown more than about 75% regardless of the EBCT. The organic material (CODCr, BOD5) and the phosphate removal efficiencies have shown more than about 75% and 92%, they have measured the lowest at the state of 12hr. On the other hand, the organic material treatment efficiency has shown more than 70% in the EBCT 12hr, so this reactor is supposed to make not only influent concentration but also influent volume stable. From the standard of the removal volume per time in conformity with the retention time inside reactor, the 90% of the total organic material and phosphate removal volume have shown to operate in the 12hr retention time. In the result of the microorganism volume measurement of each reactor modules, the influent part has shown to have more than 1.7~2.3 times because the influent part has more organic material concentration than the effluent part. The microorganism SOUR value in the reactor has increased as much as about 5~20% as the EBCT has increased, the value at the influent part has increased more than at the effluent part up to about 50%. In this study, it has shown to be possible to remove as much as about 80% of the particulate, the organic material and the phosphate through the subsurface-flow wetland using the biological aerated filter technique. Therefore, it has been evaluated that the biological aerated filter reactor would be very effective as the purification device for the polluted stream water and the non-point pollution source.

        재생에너지 기반 청정 수소 운송 에너지 시스템 모사 연구

        파리 기후 협약 이후 온실 가스 감축은 전세계적으로 가장 중요한 문제이다. 특히 상당한 온실 가스를 배출하는 교통운송 부문의 화석 연료 감축이 시급하다. 본 논문에서는 이에 대한 대안으로 재생에너지원에서 생산된 전기 에너지로 수소를 생산하여 수소 자동차에 연료로 공급하는 그린 모빌리티 에너지 시스템의 경제성을 검토하였다. 시스템 설계에 필요한 재생에너지 발전, 수전해 통한 수소 생산, 수소 저장과 충전소 등 여러가지 결정사항들에 대해 9 가지 시나리오를 구성하여 그에 대한 최적 설계 및 운영 비용을 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 경험은 현실적 수소 에너지 시스템을 구축하는데 활용될 수 있을 것이다. Since the Paris climate agreement, reducing greenhouse gases has been the most important global issue. In particular, it is necessary to reduce fossil fuels in the mobility sector, which accounts for a significant portion of total greenhouse gas emissions. In this paper, we investigated the economic feasibility of green mobility energy supply chains, which supply hydrogen as fuel to hydrogen vehicles based on electricity from renewable energy sources. The design and operation costs were analyzed by evaluating nine scenarios representing various combinatorial possibilities such as renewable energy generation, hydrogen production through water electrolytes, hydrogen storage and hydrogen refueling stations. Simulation calculations were made using Homer Pro, widely used commercial software in the field. The experience gained in this study could be further utilized to construct actual hydrogen energy systems.

        홍삼 부산물이 스트레스에 대한 산란계 생체반응에 미치는 영향

        This study was conducted to determine the possible use of Red Ginseng marc as stress inhibiter in thermal stress (temperature humidity index 86) and lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-exposed laying hens by investigating their effects on laying performance, blood biochemical parameters, immunoglobulin concentration and serum superoxide dismutase (SOD) like ability. A total of forty-five 52-wk-old laying hens (ISA Brown) were divided into 3 treatment groups with 5 replicates of 3 birds in each group. NC (negative control, no immune substances), PC (positive control, β-glucan 25 ppm) and RGM (Red Ginseng Marc 3%) were added in feed with respective substance. Egg production in RGM was significantly increased in comparison with NC groups for 8 weeks (P<0.05). On blood biochemical parameters, effects of ambient temperature is definite by showing significant difference in aspartate aminotransferase and others (P<0.05), but RGM both before and after thermal stimulation have no significant difference in comparison with other groups. And for 3 weeks after thermal stimulation, laying performance was also not significantly different among treatments. Immunoglobulin M content and SOD like activities after challenge with LPS were higher in the RGM and PC than NC (P<0.05). In conclusion, although ineffective as inhibiter in thermal stress, dietary supplementation of Red Ginseng marc improved SOD like activity and immune system by regulating immunoglobulin content in laying hens. These findings have laid the foundation for future studies of immunomodulation in laying hens fed Red Ginseng Marc and of evaluation of heat stress inhibitor.

        단위가축영양 : 육계에서 구멍갈파래의 항산화 및 면역조절 효과

        This study was conducted to test the efficacy of Ulva pertusa kjellman as immunomodulators under lipopolysaccharide(LPS) challenge in broilers by investigating their effects on serum superoxide dismutase(SOD) like ability, immunoglobulin concentration, and splenic cytokine mRNA expression. A total of ninety six1-d-old male broiler chicks(Ross 308) were divided into 4 treatment groups with 8 replicates of 3 birds in each group. NC(negative control, no immune substances), PC(positive control, β-glucan 25 ppm), Ulva P(Ulva pertusa kjellman Powder 3%), and Ulva E(Extract form Ulva pertusa kjellman 0.3%) were added in feed with respective substance. Heparinized venous blood and spleens were collected from five birds per dietary treatment at 5 wk of age. The SOD like activities in Ulva P and Ulva E were significantly increased in comparison with other groups(P<0.05). The immunoglobulin M content was lower in the Ulva E than other groups(P<0.05). Expression patterns of splenic cytokine mRNA in the IL-1β, IL-2 and IL-6 were similar. Expression rate of IL-1β, IL-2 and IL-6 in Ulva pertusa kjellman(Ulva P, Ulva E) were decreased(P<0.05) in comparison to other groups. Expression rate of IL-1β, IL-2 and IL-6 were significantly lower in groups treated with Ulva E than Ulva P. In conclusion, dietary supplementation of Ulva pertusa kjellman improved SOD like activity and affect immune system by inhibiting inflammatory response in broiler chicks. In addition, it is more effective to use Ulva pertusa kjellman extract than powder for immunomodulatory function. These results suggest the possibility that Ulva pertusa kjellman could be used as the immunomodulator for inflammatory response in broiler chicks.

        비점오염원 저감을 위한 요소기술의 연계처리 운전 효과 검토

        Because reduction facilities of existing non-point pollution source weren`t balanced with each element technologies, most of case were what damaged scene nature of river, neutralized pollution sources and reduction effect. Therefore it`s necessary to find a solution by integrating the operation system. Based on the comparative analysis that we have ran, we examined the capacity at individual operation`s water purification and linked the treatment to detention pond, constructed wetlands and revetment. The results of an experiment revealed that the Individual Operation shows a high level of processing performance. However, in terms of definitive processing performance linked treatment operation showed a higher level than element technology. Although performance of the Individual Operation was declined due to media clogging etc, linked treatment operation showed consistent efficiency. Therefore it has been evaluated that the linked treatment operation would improve performance on pollutant purification and run a stable operation.

        매실과 홍삼 부산물이 스트레스에 대한 육계 생체 반응에 미치는 영향

        This study was conducted to test the efficacy of plum (Prunus mume) and red ginseng (Panax ginseng C.A Meyer) marc as stress inhibitors under heat stress and lipopolysaccharide (LPS) challenge in broilers by investigating their effects on blood biochemical parameters, immunoglobulin concentration and splenic cytokine mRNA expressions. A total of one hundred ninety-two 1-d-old male broiler chicks (Ross 308) were divided into 2 stress conditions (heat and LPS) experiments. Each experiment was divided into 4 treatment groups with 8 replicates of 3 birds in each group. NC (negative control, no immune substances), PC (positive control, 25 ppm β-glucan), PM (1% plum marc) and RGM (3% red ginseng marc) treatments were administered with respective substance through water supplementation. During heat stress, The Ca/Mg ratio in PM and RGM was significantly decreased in comparison with that of NC (P<0.05). The immunoglobulin M was significantly lower in PM than in NC (P<0.05). Expression patterns of splenic cytokine mRNAs (IL-1, IL-2 and IL-6) were similar over the treatment. Expression rates of IL-1 and IL-2 in PM were significantly decreased in comparison with NC. Also, expression rates of IL-1, IL-2 and IL-6 were significantly lower in RGM than in NC (P<0.05). In conclusion, the dietary supplementation of plum and red ginseng marc improved coping ability to heat stress by preventing Ca/Mg ratio increment and by inhibiting inflammatory response in broiler chicks. However, it is necessary to determine optimal dietary level of red ginseng marc for improving growth performances in broiler chickens. These results suggest the possibility that plum and red ginseng marc could be used as the stress inhibitor under heat stress and inflammatory response in broiler chicks.
