토양을 침지한 후 배수, 통기 및 침지를 조합한 처리에서 토양의 Eh와 수분함량을 조사함과 아울러 고추에 대하여 토양단독, 토양+상토+바로크의 혼용처리와 토마토에 대하여 토양단독, 토양+볏짚, 토양+퇴비, 토양+Aeration의 혼용처리를 하여 식물체 엽 중Fe과 Mn흡수 특성을 구명하기 위하여 포트조건에서시험을 수행하였다. 토양 환원처리 후 Eh와 토양 수분함량을 조사한 결과, 배수와 Aeration을 처리한 후 72시간부터 토양을 산화상태로 변화시켰으며, 토양 수분함량은 처리와동시에 감소하기 시작하였다. 정식 후 30일에 채취한고추 식물체의 엽 중 Fe와 Mn을 분석한 결과, 토양단독처리구의 식물체 엽 중 Mn은 토양 산성에 의해 과잉 흡수(1,324 mg kg<SUP>-1</SUP>) 되었으며, 길항작용에 의해 Fe 흡수장애가 나타났다. 혼합 토양 처리구에서의 식물체 엽 중 Mn 함량(947 mg kg<SUP>-1</SUP>)은 토양 단독 처리 구에 비해 적었으나 Fe 흡수장애를 야기하였다. 정식후 60일에 채취한 토마토 식물체의 엽 중 Fe와 Mn을 분석한 결과에서 Fe 함량은 토양(50%) + 퇴비 (50%)처리에서 가장 높았고, Mn 함량은 토양 단독처리에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 본 시험의 결과로 볼때 작물의 생육은 Eh 및 공극률이 토양 수분함량과 밀접한 관계가 있으며, 토양이 산성상태일 때 식물체는 토양으로부터 Mn을 우선적으로 흡수하며, 이는Fe 결핍을 야기하는 것으로 판단되었다. This experiment was performed to understand the relationship between uptake of Fe and Mn by plants, red pepper and tomato, and soil physico-chemical properties under different soil conditions at an environmentally controlled chamber in NAAS(National Academy of Agricultural Science) in 2008. After the dipping for 3 days, four treatments, dipping, dipping+aeration, drainage, drainage+aeration, were set up to investigate the changes in soil redox potential and moisture content. Drainage+aeration changed soil to the oxidation condition from 72 hrs of treatment, and soil moisture content was immediately reduced after treatment. Uptake of Fe and Mn of red pepper was investigated with two treatments, soil only and the mixed[soil(50%) : bed soil(35%) : bark(15%)]. Red pepper leaves taken at 30 days after treatment absorbed excessively Mn from the treatment of soil only and the mixed, and thus uptake of iron was strongly reduced. Also, uptake pattern of Fe and Mn of tomato was examined with four treatment, soil only, soil(50%) + rice straw(50%), soil(50%) + compost(50%) and soil + aeration. Contents of Fe and Mn in tomato leaves was measured at 60 days after treatment. Fe content was the greatest in soil(50%) + compost(50%) whereas Mn content was the highest in soil only. As a result of this experiment, plant growth was stronger influenced by soil moisture content than redox potential or porosity, and the oxidation status of soil was likely to promote that plant predominantly absorbed Mn from soil and thus resulted in Fe deficiency.

N/A Background: Although glyphosate, organophosphorus herbicide, has been used extensively in agricultural area, no clinical data of acute poisoning have been reported in Korea. The current study evaluated clinical characteristics of acute intoxication by glyphosate. Methods: We retrospectively collect and analysed the clinical data of 16 acute glyphosate poisoned patients admitted to the department of internal medicine, Soonchunhyang University Chunan hospital from January 1999 through June 2000. Results: 1) Thirteen of sixteen poisoning were male and mean age was 44.2 year-old. 2) The main cause of glyphosate ingestion was suicide intent (12 cases, 75%), and clinical severity was divided into 3 categories : mild (14 cases), moderate (1 case) and severe (1 case). 3) Nausea and vomiting were the most frequent clinical features (each 6 cases) and dyspnea (4 cases), cough (3 cases), sputum (3 cases) and sore throat (3 cases) were followed. Leucocytosis, hepatotoxicity, anemia, hypoxia and renal toxicity were observed in 9,8,5,6 and 3 cases, respectively. 4) No fat al case and severe complication, except 1 aspiration pneumonia and 1 acute respiratory failure, were observed in acute glyphosate poisonings. Conclusion: Our data supported that acute glyphosate poisoning dose not result in fatal in humans even after intentional ingestion of glyphosate.(Korean J Med 60:383-387, 2001)

This study is an inorganic foaming ceramic by sol-gel reaction in order to overcome weak point of insulator using in construction equipment. We shall be able to confirm as the existing product substitute is possible result of this study. The solution where the silicate, the ceramic powder and the additive are included which makes foaming ceramic slurry, then the insulator made by used CO₂ Sol-Gel reaction. There being will be able to manufacture the insulator where the economical efficiency is excellent confirmed at the start product which is completed. The recording gel time decreases when the silicate will increase. Uses the hydrogen peroxide and fe make foam, when additionally surface preparation the fluorine resin, the water tolerance increases and will be able to complement the weak point of the silicate which omits in the water. The case which will use the loess powder with the research method which sees specially was environment-friendly product and according to appearing, the physical properties of nonflammability.
상부요추와 하부요추 단분절 추간판 탈출증 환자의 임상적 특성과 한방치료 효과 비교연구

Objectives Upper lumbar disc herniation (LDH) (L1/2, L2/3) has specific anatomical characteristics and different outcome after conventional treatment compared to lower LDH (L3/4, L4/5, L5/S1). The purpose of this study was to compare the clinical features and effects of korean medical treatment of upper LDH between lower LDH. Methods We retrospectively reviewed the clinical data collected from 121 patients who was had admitted at the Haeundae Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine from June 1st, 2014 to August 31th, 2018. The patients who had treated at L1/2, L2/3 level LDH were grouped and compared with those treated at the L3/4, L4/5, L5/S1 level. We reviewed the patient characteristics such as age, the positive rate of Straight Leg Raise Test (SLR test), the presence or absence of previous lumbar surgery. Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) and Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) were evaluated at adimission and discharge. Results Mean age was significantly higher at upper LDH group and positive rate of SLR test was higher at lower LDH group. There was no significant difference of gender and previous lumbar surgery between two groups. Each group had a significant improvement of NRS, ODI scores. But between two groups, there was no significant difference of NRS, ODI scores. Conclusions Upper LDH group was older than lower LDH group. SLR test was useful tool to exclude upper LDH. Korean medical treatment was significantly effective to both upper and lower LDH groups. Further well designed prospective comparative studies are needed. (J Korean Med Rehabil 2018;28(4):43-50)
