쌍극자 광원의 진동방향, Mie 산란자, 그리고 Pillow 렌즈가 OLED의 광추출효율에 미치는 영향에 대한 시뮬레이션 연구

본 연구에서는 FDTD와 광선추적기법을 결합한 시뮬레이션을 활용해 광원으로 설정된 쌍극자의 진동 방향, 유리기판에 적용된 Mie 산란입자와 Pillow 렌즈가 광결정 구조가 포함된 OLED의 광추출효율에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 쌍극자 광원의 진동방향이 OLED 표면에 대해 수평인 경우, 광결정구조만 적용된 OLED의 효율이 54%인데 반해 최적화된 조건의 Mie 산란입자, Pillow 렌즈가 적용된 OLED는 약 86%의 광추출효율을 나타냈다. 아울러 광결정 구조로 인해 특정 각도로 광도가 증가하는 문제점이 Mie 산란입자의 산란효과로 인해 완화될 수 있음을 알았다. 본 연구는 광추출효율을 향상시키는 다양한 광학구조를 적용함과 더불어 발광체 유기분자의 배향을 조절함으로써 OLED의 효율을 큰 폭으로 향상시킬 수 있음을 보여준다. The net effect of the emitter orientation, Mie scatters, and pillow lenses on the outcoupling efficiency (OCE) of a bottom-emitting OLED having an internal photonic crystal layer was investigated by a combined optical simulation based on the finite-difference time-domain method (FDTD) and the ray-tracing technique. The simulation showed that when the emitter orientation was horizontal with respect to the OLED surface, the OCE could be increased by 54% when a photonic crystal layer was employed, while it could be improved by 86% under optimized conditions of Mie scatters and pillow lenses applied to the glass substrate. The peculiar intensity distribution of the OLED, caused by the periodic lattice structure of the photonic crystal layer, could be ameliorated by inserting Mie scatters into the glass substrate. This study suggests that conventional outcoupling structures combined with control of the emitter orientation could improve the OCE substantially.
군지연 등화된 두 개의 통과대역을 갖는 필터의 합성에 관한 연구

본 논문에서는 각 통과대역이 군지연 등화된 두 개의 통과대역을 갖는 필터의 합성 방법에 관하여 언급하였다. 각 통과대역이 군지연 등화된 특성을 가지게 함으로써, 기존의 이중 통과대역 필터보다 디지털 데이터 전송에 있어서 비트 에러율(BER)을 감소시킬 수 있고, 군지연 변화를 등화시키기 위하여 외부 등화기가 별도로 필요하지 않다. 본 논문에서의 합성 방법 타당성 검증을 위하여 각 통과대역이 군지연 등화된 5차 타원 응답특성을 갖는 두 개의 통과대역을 갖는 10차 이중모드 필터를 합성하였다. This paper describes a synthesis method for a self-equalized dual-passband filter. Compared to conventional dual-passband filter, a self-equalized dual-passband filter can reduce BER(bit error rate) in digital data communications and does not need an external equalizer for group-delay equalization. To validate the synthesis technique, a 10-pole dual-mode dual-passband filter which has two self-equalized 5-pole elliptic response passband is synthesized.
담배 재배농에서 담뱃잎농부병의 유병률 변화와 역학적 특성

Purpose: This study was carried out to investigate the epidemiological characteristics and changes of prevalence for green tobacco sickness (GTS) for 2 years Methods: The author conducted a questionnaire survey on the tobacco harvesters (875 persons from 478 out of 555 tobacco harvesting households surveyed last year) in Cheongsong-gun for 4 days from May 26 to 29, 2003 Results: The study subjects comprised 456 males and 419 females The prevalence of GTS in 2002 was 50.5%, which was significantly higher than the 43.0% in 2001 (p<0.01) The incidence density of GTS in 2002 was 11.3 spells/l00 person1working-days, which was lower than the 12.1 spells in 2001 Regardless of risk factors such as smoking, working and working hours, the prevalence of GTS in 2002 was higher than that in 2001 Among various GTS symptoms reported by the tobacco harvesters in 2002, cases of nausea were increased, while diarrhea, dyspnea and cough were decreased compared with 2001 The degree of GTS symptoms in 2002 was increased in 198 cases (64.5%), and decreased in 42 cases (13.7%) The proportion of harvesters who underwent treatment from their local medical facilities In 2002 was significantly decreased compared with that in 2001 Conclusions: In Korea, there are many tobacco-harvesting households, most of which may be stricken with GTS It is very important for doctors to diagnose the disease exactly and to develop prevention methods for GTS I expect that more extensive epidemiological studies including the incidence and associated risk factors will be needed In addition, surveillance system and measurements of urinary cotinine should be conducted.

This study aims to determine the limit strains more accurately and reasonably when deriving the forming limit curve (FLC) from experiments. The international standard ISO 12004-2 proposed in its recent version (2008) that the limit major strain should be determined by using the best-fit inverse parabola of second order for the experimental strain distribution. In the case that the fracture does not occur in the center of the specimen due to insufficient lubrication as usual, however, the inverse parabolic fit does not give a realistic fit because of its intrinsic symmetry in shape. In this study it is shown that the inverse quartic function can lead to much better fit than the inverse parabola in almost all samples of the FLC tests including asymmetric strain distribution.

Recent developments and integrations of information technology and multimedia technology are expanding the possibility of various instructional learning methodss in educational environments. The purpose of this study was to investigate the porperty, fuction and condion of multimedia instruction materials in Korean language education. First, the porperty of multimedia instruction materials is visual presentation, complixity, interactionaity, hypertextuality. Second, the fuction of multimedia instruction materials is reflection of perspective of language education, motivation generation, an offer of instructional methods, expantion and fixing of laguage experience, an offer and storing of language data, evaluation of language activity, Third, the condition of multimedia instruction materials is appropriateness of curriculum, appropriateness of growth, appropriateness of discourse, appropriateness of instruction, appropriateness of material use. In conclusion, I suggested that it is necessary to change in three aspects. First, an instructor is to be facilitator, cooperator, reflectional practician, data manager. Second, instruction model is in need of diversification or intergration under certain circumstance. Third, it is necessary to develope multimedia instructional materials that make actual interactive and feedback.
