      • 스트리밍 프레임워크와 멀티미디어 데이타베이스와의 연동기법

        본 논문은 실시간 멀티미디어 스트리밍 프레임워크과 멀티미디어 데이타베이스의 연동 모듈인 데이타베이스 커넥터를 소개한다. 스트리밍 시스템과 멀티미디어 데이타베이스를 연동하는 경우 스트리밍 중에도 재생중인 미디어에 관련된 정보들을 데이타베이스로부터 검색 및 재결합이 가능하여 다양한 멀티 미디어 데이타베이스 서비스를 제공받을 수 있다. 그러나, 현재 스트리밍 시스템과 데이타베이스와의 연동은 파일 시스템으로 구현되거나, 파일형태의 스트리밍 데이타와 컨텐츠를 다루는 메타 데이타가 분리되어 관리되는 관계형 데이타베이스에 국한되어 있어 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공하기에 부적합하다. 이런 제약점을 보완하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 스트리밍 프레임워크와 멀티미디어 데이타베이스가 동일한 호스트에 존재한다는 가정 하에 작동되는 IPC 기반의 데이타 베이스 커넥터를 제안한다. 제안된 데이터베이스 커넥터는 데이타베이스 기능을 사용할 수 있도록 읽기, 쓰기, 찾기, 재생 트랜잭션과, 트랜잭션 처리를 위한 인터페이스를 정의하였고, IPC 인터페이스 모듈을 플러그인 형태로 구현하여 본 논문에서 적용한 BeeHive와의 연동뿐 아니라 다른 다양한 멀티미디어 데이타베이스와 연동 시 바로 적용시킬 수 있는 확장성을 가지고 있다. 성능 분석 결과 제안된 IPC 기반 연동기법은 기존의 파일 방식의 연동기법과 비교하여 성능의 저하가 크지 않았다. This paper describes on our experience of developing the Database Connector as an interconnection method between multimedia database, and the streaming framework. It is possible to support diverse and mature multimedia database services such as retrieval and join operation during the streaming if an interconnection method is provided in between streaming system and multimedia databases. The currently available interconnection schemes, however have mainly used the file systems or the relational databases that are Implemented with separated form of meta data, which deafs with information of multimedia contents, and streaming data which deals with multimedia data itself. Consequently, existing interconnection mechanisms could not come up with many virtues of multimedia database services during the streaming operation. In order to resolve these drawbacks, we propose a novel scheme for an interconnection between streaming framework and multimedia database, called the Inter-Process Communication (IPC) based Database connector, under the assumption that two systems are located in a same host. We define four transaction primitives; Read, Write, Find, Play, as well as define the interface for transactions that are implemented based on the plug-in, which in consequence can extend to other multimedia databases that will come for some later years. Our simulation study show that performance of the proposed IPC based interconnection scheme is not much far behind compared with that of file systems.

        ZnO thn films are grown on five kinds of oxide substrates including $c-Al_2O_3(0001),\;r-Al_2O_3(01-12)$, MgO(100), MgO(111), $NdGaO_3(110)$ by rf magnetron sputtering and effects substrate types on properties of ZnO thin films ate investigated. In order to compare the substrate effects one growth condition is selected and all the films are grown by the same growth condition. Structural and optical properties of the ZnO films ate different depending on the substrates although the films ate not epitaxial but polycrystalline. The ZnO film grown on $NdGaO_3(100)$ substrate shows the best overall properties among the films grown on substrates investigated in this study.

        7-[3-히드록시-(4-메틸티오 또는 4-메틸티오메틸)피롤리디닐]퀴놀린-3-카르복실산의 합성과 항균작용

        A number of 7-[3-hydroxy-(4-methylthio or 3-methylthiomethyl)pyrrolidinyl]quinoline-3-carboxylic acids were synthesized by condensation of 7-fluoro substituted quinoline-3-carboxylic acid with 3-hydroxy-4-methylthiopyrrolidine or 3-hydroxy-4-methylthiomethylpyrrolidine. The in vitro antimicrobial activity of them were tested against twenty species of Gram-positive or Gram-negative microorganisms. It showed remarkable antibacterial activity, particularly against Gram-positive microorganisms. Among those 1-cyclopropyl-5-amino-6,8-difluoro 7-(3-hydroxy-4-methylthiomethylpyrrolidinyl)-1,4-dihyd ro-4-oxo-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid(12d) and 1-cyclopropyl-6-fluoro-8-methoxy-7-(3-hydroxy-4-methylthiometby1pyrrolinyl)-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-3-quinolinocarboxylic acid(12g) showed the most potent in vitro antibacterial activity, and 12d showed better antibacterial activity against MRSA compared to ciprofloxacin and sparfloxacin.

        법과 제도적 관점에서 본 소방특별조사의 개선방안

        2011년 8월 4일에 개정된 법률에 따라 소방특별조사는 소방시설의 유지·관리 등을 관계인(소유자·관리자·점유자)이 하고 이에 대한 책임도 관계인에게 주어졌다. 소방특별조사는 기존의 모든 소방대상물에 직접 출입하여 소방시설의 유지·관리 상태 등을 조사하는 대신에 매년 일부 대상물을 선별하여 방문하고 소방시설의 유지·관리 상태 등을 확인하고 잘못된 부분에 대하여 시정하고 그 책임에 대하여 과태료 등의 처분을 하는 것이다. 이 제도를 도입한 이유가 관계자의 책임을 강화하여 민간자율정정제도의 정착, 소방전문 인력의 부족, 빈번한 대민접촉에 따른 부패의 개연성과 소방검사에 따른 소방기관의 책임 등이 고려되었다. 그러나 소방특별조사제도를 도입하여서도 여러 가지 문제가 대두되고 있다. 소방안전을 위한 제도 중 하나인 소방특별조사는 관계 법령에 따라 소방대상물에 설치된 소방시설에 대하여 적합하게 설치·유지·관리되고 있는지를 관계 공무원, 특히 소방공무원이 확인하는 것이다. 소방특별조사는 1958년 소방법이 제정된 당시에 소방검사로 도입되어 최근까지 30여 차례의 개정과정을 거쳐, 현행 소방특별조사는 2003년 기존의 소방법체계가 4개의 법률로 분법화되면서 "화재예방, 소방시설 설치·유지 및 안전관리에 관한 법률"로 기존의 소방검사 소방특별조사로 변경되어 수용되었다. Under the Act amended on August 4, 2011, a special fire-fighting investigation was conducted by the relevant person (owner, manager, oil refineries), and the responsibility was also given to the relevant person. Instead of directly entering all existing fire-fighting targets and investigating the maintenance and management status of fire-fighting facilities, the fire-fighting agency selects and visits some targets every year, checks the maintenance and management status of fire-fighting facilities, corrects them, and imposes fines, etc. Reasons for the introduction of the system were the establishment of a private autonomous correction system by strengthening the responsibility of officials, lack of firefighting professionals, possible corruption due to frequent public contact, and responsibility of fire agencies. However, many problems arose even after the introduction of a special fire investigation system. A special fire investigation, one of the fire safety systems, checks whether related public officials and especially fire officials are properly installed, maintained and managed in accordance with relevant laws. Special firefighting investigations were introduced as firefighting inspections at the time the firefighting law was enacted in 1958, and have undergone a revised process more than 30 times until recently. Firefighting Facility Installation, Maintenance and Safety Management Act", the existing firefighting inspection was changed to a special firefighting investigation and accepted. At the time of enactment of the Fire Service Act in 1958, a special firefighting investigation was introduced as a firefighting inspection, and until recently, more than 30 revisions have been made. In 2003, as the existing fire fighting system was divided into four laws, it was approved by changing the existing fire fighting inspection to a special fire fighting investigation in the "Fire Fighting Facility Installation, Maintenance and Safety Management Act".

        Al-20Si-5.5Fe-1.2Mg-0.5Mn 합금분말의 치밀화에 미치는 소결온도와 분위기의 영향

        The densification behavior of Al-20Si-5.5Fe-1.2Mg-0.5Mn powders was investigated through micro-structure analysis of sintered specimens. The specimens sintered in vacuum or in high purity (99.999%) nitrogen showed porous near-surface microstructures. The densification of near-surface part was enhanced by means of ultra-high purity (99.9999%) nitrogen atmosphere. The relationship between slow densification and oxide surfaces of Al alloy powders was discussed. And the effects of Mg addition, nitrogen gas, and humidity on densification were discussed. In addition, the rapid growth of primary Si crystals above the critical temperature was reported.

        나노 구조를 가지는 다공성 주석 산화물의 전기화학적 특성

        A nano-porous structure of tin oxide was prepared using an anodic oxidation process and the sample's electrochemical properties were evaluated for application as an anode in a rechargeable lithium battery. Microscopic images of the as-anodized sample indicated that it has a nano-porous structure with an average pore size of several tens of nanometers and a pore wall size of about 10 nanometers; the structural/compositional analyses proved that it is amorphous stannous oxide (SnO). The powder form of the as-anodized specimen was satisfactorily lithiated and delithiated as the anode in a lithium battery. Furthermore, it showed high initial reversible capacity and superior rate performance when compared to previous fabrication attempts. Its excellent electrode performance is probably due to the effective alleviation of strain arising from a cycling-induced large volume change and the short diffusion length of lithium through the nano-structured sample. To further enhance the rate performance, the attempt was made to create porous tin oxide film on copper substrate by anodizing the electrodeposited tin. Nevertheless, the full anodization of tin film on a copper substrate led to the mechanical disintegration of the anodic tin oxide, due most likely to the vigorous gas evolution and the surface oxidation of copper substrate. The adhesion of anodic tin oxide to the substrate, together with the initial reversibility and cycling stability, needs to be further improved for its application to high-power electrode materials in lithium batteries.

        대사증후군의 습담 변증군과 심박변이도의 관련성에 관한 고찰

        Objectives : This study was performed to investigate characteristic indice of heart rate variability (HRV) according to presence of metabolic syndrome (MS), pattern identification. Methods : We analyzed 167 subjects who participated in a stroke check-up. We classified the subjects into two groups as MS (n=48) and non-MS (n=119) based on NCEP ATP III. First, we investigated pattern identification of all subjects based on Korean Standard Pattern Identifications for Stroke-III. Second, we surveyed significance of HRV indices between MS and non-MS groups. Third, we investigated significance of HRV indices between classified DP of MS and classified DP of non-MS. Fourth, we investigated significance of HRV indices between classified DP of MS and non-MS. Fifth, we investigated significance between components of MS and HRV indices. Results : 1. SDNN, RMS-SD, HF, Ln(HF), and HF (NORM) were significantly lower in the MS than non-MS group. LN (TP), LF/HF were significantly higher in the MS than non-MS. 2. Ln (HF), Ln (TP), and LF/HF were statistically significant in the classified DP of MS group. 3. RMS-SD, and Ln (HF) were significantly lower in the abdominal obesity group than in the non-abdominal obesity group. SDNN, RMS-SD, TP, Ln (TP), VLF, Ln (VLF), and Ln (LF) were significantly lower in the hypertension group than in the non-hypertension group. RMS-SD was significantly lower in the diabetes group than in the non-diabetes group. Mean HRT,LF/HF were significantly higher in the hypertriglyceridemia than non-hypertriglyceridemia group, but Ln (HF), RMS-SD, and HF (NORM) were significantly lower in the hypertriglyceridemia than non-hypertriglyceridemia group. Conclusions : We found a few significant relationships between classified DP of MS and HRV indices. The resluts demonstrate that MS has potentially negative effects on the cardiovascular system, and these effects could be detected by HRV.

        원인불명의 고열 및 흉수 이후 악화된 폐결핵후유증 소양인환자 치험 1례 보고

        Objectives It is important to care aftereffects of the tuberculosis such as cough and sputum especially for the old. The purpose of this study is to report a case which showed symptoms improvement after treatment with Hyungbangjihwang-tang.Methods To evaluate the results of this treatment, Decrease of cough and sputum was assessed by Visual Analogue Scale(VAS). The patient`s oral intake and body weight were measured.Results The patient who suffered with cough and sputum after tuberculosis developed high fever and pleural effusion of unknown origin. After treatment with western and oriental medicine, high fever and pleural effusion were subsided but cough and sputum got worse and body weight was decreased after high fever and pleural effusion. So we prescribed Hyungbangjihwang-tang and then the symptoms of the patient were improved.Conclusions This study suggests that using Sasang constitutuional medical treatment is effective for Soyangin patient with afftereffects of the tuberculosis such as cough and sputum.

        물리탐사 요소기술의 특허 동향분석

        물리탐사는 측정점에 대한 정보에만 국한하는 다른 조사방법과는 달리 지반내부에 대한 영상 및 정보를 제공할 수 있으므로 환경오염부지 평가 및 감시, 지반조사, 지질재해 등에서 중요한 기술로 활용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 상기물리탐사 요소기술에 관한 특허분석을 실시하였다. 1976년부터 2005년까지 출원된 특허의 요약문, 청구항, 도면 검색 등을 통해 총 904건의 관련 특허를 추출하였다. 추출된 특허를 대상으로 국가별, 연도별, 출원인별, 그리고 기술 분야별 출원동향을 분석하였다. 또한 미국특허 분석을 통해 국가별 기술수준을 비교 분석하였다. 상위 5위의 출원국가는 미국, 영국, 일본, 노르웨이 그리고 프랑스 순이었으며, 특히 미국과 영국 출원인의 특허건수가 663건(73.3%)으로 이 분야 기술개발을 주도하고 있는 것으로 파악되었다. Geophysical prospecting technologies are employed to environmental site assessments and monitoring, subsurface investigation, geologic hazard monitoring since they are able to provide information and imaging regarding the subsurface. In this study, we carried out several analysis on patent documents for the geophysical prospecting technologies. The patents including abstracts, claims and drawings from 1976 up to 2005 were surveyed and 904 patents were collected finally. The patents were investigated as to countries, years, assignees and technologies. Furthermore, we carried out the comparative analysis for technological level of assignee countries with United States patents. The top 5 assignee countries are United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Norway and France. Especially United States and United Kingdom play important role in this area as holding 663 patents.
