탄성 의치상 이장재의 캔디다 알비칸스 부착도에 관한 실험적 연구

The purpose of this study is to compare the response of four commercially available soft denture lining materials to the growth of C. albicans in vitro. Twelve samples of each soft lining materials were made to a uniform size and volume(15×5×4㎜) and sterilized using ethylene oxide. The samples were individually placed in culture tubes containing 5㎖ of sterile SDB(sabouraud dextrose broth dehydrated) and 0.1㎕ of activated C. albicans(ATCC 10231). The culture tubes had been incubated in incubator at 37℃. Three samples of each material had been tested at 3, 21, 35 and 56 days to determine the number of adherent cells of C. albicans on their surfaces and the number of nonadherent cells in the broth associated with each samples. The data have been analyzed by ANOVA and Scheffe test. The results have been obtained as follows : 1. In growth patterns of C. albicans within soft lining materials, Molloplast-B and K-33 were significantly higher(p<0.01) compared with Coe-Soft, but there was no significant difference between Coe-Soft, Coe Super-Soft and Mollosil(p>0.05). 2. Molloplast-B showed significantly higher(p<0.01) amounts of C. albicans adhering to its surface than other materials under experimental conditions. 3. Generally, adherence was significantly increased until 5 weeks, and after then showed decreased pattern in all materials(p<0.01). 4. The C. albicans was able to penetrate the inner portion of all samples. Coe-Soft showed most amounts of invaded C. albicans, followed in order by Mollosil, Molloplast-B, and Coe Super-Soft.

Rectal Polyp 를 동반한 Pyoderma Gangrenosum 1 예

Since the classical description of pyoderma gangrenosum by O'Leary, Brunsting and Goecgerman in 1930, a considerable nurnber of reports of this clinical entity has appeared. Pyoderma gangrenosum is a painful, ulcerative disease of the skin. The ulcers are highly characteristic in clinical feature as necrotic pus covered lesions having purple colored and elevated border with red halo. Frequently, the ulcers heal with a cribriform type of scar. Its pathogenesis is not understood clearly. We present a case of pyoderma gangrenosum deveIoped on the leg in a 11-year old boy occurring with rectal poIyp, the association of whicb is very rare in world wide. And this case has the evidence of cell mediated immunity impairment characterized by no response to mumps antigen and purified protein derivatives, and not to be activively sensitized by DNCB.

소형선박선형 결정시 신챠인 선형설계의 CAD에 대한 연구

According to the hull type design of small ship, the planning hull type and the square hull type are adequately combined to make the optimized hull type which is defined as the new-chine hull type. The program of new-chine hull type in these small ships has been developed, considering lines drawing, resistance estimation, and ship stability. Also the program can convert the process of the hull type decision into CAD type. Furthermore, the model which is selected as a small ship model of 7.93 ton class has been manufactured and the feasibility of the developed hull type design program has been proved by the experiment.

주관절부 골절후 속발된 각변형에 대한 상완골 과상부 절골술 치험례

The fracture around the elbow is frequent in the children. The cubitus varus and cubitus valgus deformities are the common late complications of the elbow fracture, The reason of correction for these problem is not the elbow function, but the cosmetic problem or tardy ulnar nerve palsy. We performed five supracondylar asteotomies that are modification of Milch osteotomy from Mar, 1988 to Jan, 1989 of which four cases were cubitus varus and one case was cubitus valgus at In Chon Christian Hospital. The results were as folbws: 1. The cubitus varus deformities were four cases and the cubitus valgus deformity was one. 2. The injuries were supracondylar fractures of the humerus for the cubitus varus and lateral condyle fracture of the humerus for the cubitus valgus. 3. The result was excellent by modified Milch osteotomy with demtation in the case of mtatianal defarmiti. 4. In adult, the bone healing was promoted by deepening the triangular shaped notch in the Milch osteotomy by widening the contact surface.
