최근 음성 정보처리, 특히 맨.머신 인터페이스로서의 음성입출력의 실현에 큰 기대가 모아 져서 각국에서 이에 관련된 연구가 국가규모 또는 국제간의 협력의 형태로 조직적으로 진행되고 있다. 이와 관련한 주요 연구계획들로는 - 프랑스의 GRECO 및 PRC project - 영국의 ALVEY program - 미국의 DARPA project - EC 여러나라간의 ESPRIT program 및 COST 2009 project - NATO의 주도에 의한 RSC 10 program - 일본의 ICOT project 및 ATR International의 자동번역전화 project등을 들수 있다. 본고는 일본음향학회 논문지 1986년 12월호에 게재된 K. Shikano 및 A. Kurematsu(ATR 자동번역전화연구소, 일본)의 동일제목의 해설 기사를 편역한 것으로서 연속음성인식 및 이해에 관한 각국의 연구동향을 정리한 것이다. 특히 DARPA의 연속음성인식 프로젝트를 중심으로한 미국의 연구동향 및 일본 ATR 자동번역전화연구소의 음성이해 시스팀에 대하여 자세히 소개 하고 있다.

소아 안와 연조직염의 임상적 고찰

목 적 : 안와 연조직염은 성인에 비해 소아에서 흔한 질환으로 안와 중격을 경계로 안와의 침범여부에 따라 안와주위 연조직염과 안와 연조직염으로 구분된다. 이 구분은 치료와 예후에 많은 차이를 보인다. 저자들은 안와 연조직염의 원인균, 임상증상, 검사 소견, 치료 및 합병증의 발생 등의 차이를 알아보고자 하였다. 방 법 : 1995년 5월부터 2004년 4월까지 안와 연 조직염으로 연세의료원에 입원 치료한 환아 50명을 대상으로 후향적으로 의무기록 고찰을 시행하였다. 결 과 : 총 50명 중 남아 32명, 여아 18명이었으며, 평균 연령 $3.2{\pm}3.5$년이었다. 안와 컴퓨터 단층 촬영상에서 안와주위 연조직염으로 진단받은 환아는 36명이었고, 안와 연조직염으로 진단받은 환아 10명, 확진되지 않은 환아 4명이었다. 안와주위 연조직염은 안구주위 부종 이외에 발열 7례(19%), 안구 동통 2례(6%), 결막 부종 8례(22%)의 증상이 있었으며, 안와 연조직염은 안구주위 부종 이외에 발열 8례(80%), 안구 동통 6례(60%), 안구 돌출 2례(20%), 결막 부종 7례(70%), 안구 운동 장애 2례(20%)의 증상이 있었다. 안와주위 연조직염의 선행질환으로 부비동염 5례(14%), 상기도감염 3례(8%), 결막염 7례(19%), 피부 상처 5례(14%), 원인 불명 16례(44%)였으며, 안와 연조직염의 선행질환은 부비동염 5례(50%), 상기도감염 2례(20%), 원인 불명 3례(30%)였다. 안와주위 연조직염 환아에서 C반응성단백, 적혈구침강속도는 각각 10례(50%), 15례(65%)에서 상승하였으며, 안와 연조직염에서는 4례(80%), 3례(100%)에서 상승하였다. 안와 연조직염 10례 중 9례에서, 안와주위 연조직염 36례 중 34례에서 1차 선택 항생제로 cefoxitin+aminoglycoside, penicillinase resistant penicillin+3세대 cephalosporin이 선택되었다. 안와주위 연조직염에서는 1차 선택 항생제로 모두 호전되었으나, 안와 연조직염 환아에서는 cefoxitin+aminoglycoside를 투여했던 7례 중 5례에서 호전 소견을 보이지 않아, 2차 항생제로 vancomycin 또는 clindamycin이 추가되었다. 수술적 처치는 총 3례에서 시행되었으며, 안와 연조직염 1례에서 세균성 뇌수막염이 동반되었다. 결 론 : 안와 연조직염은 안와의 침범여부에 따라 임상양상, 치료 및 예후가 달라지며, 임상 양상이 모호한 경우가 있으므로 초기단계에 반드시 안와 컴퓨터 단층촬영을 시행한 후에 치료에 임하는 것이 필요할 것으로 사료된다. Purpose : Ocular adnexal and orbital infections are broadly divided into preseptal(periorbital) and postseptal(orbital) cellulitis by orbital septum. In this study, we investigated the difference between periorbital and orbital cellulitis regarding their pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, treatments, and prognosis. Methods : We reviewed medical records of 50 cases who were hospitalized in the Severance hospital due to orbital cellulitis from May 1995 to April 2004. Results : There were 32 males and 18 females. The mean age was $3.2{\pm}3.5$ year. According to the result of orbital computerized tomography, 36 cases were periorbital cellulitis, 10 cases orbital cellulitis and 4 cases not diagnosed. The clinical manifestations of periorbital cellulitis are periorbital swelling(100%), fever(19%), orbital pain(6%), and chemosis(22%). On the other hand, those of orbital cellulitis are periorbital swelling(100%), fever(80%), orbital pain(60%), proptosis(20%), chemosis(70%) and limitation of eye movement(20%). The etiologies of periorbital cellulitis are sinusitis(14%), upper respiratory infection(8%), conjunctivitis (19%), skin wound(14%) and unknown(44%). The etiologies of orbital cellulitis are sinusitis (50%), upper respiratory infection(20%), and unknown(30%). The first line antibiotics used in the majority of cases were combinations of cefoxitin+aminoglycoside. 5 patients with orbital cellulitis taking cefoxitin+aminoglycoside had to change the medication into vancomycin or clindamycin. 3 patients with orbital cellulitis underwent operation while 1 patient developed bacterial meningitis. Conclusion : According to invasion of orbit, ocular adnexal and orbital infections are quite different in their pathogenesis, treatment and prognosis. As atypical cases may confound the diagnosis, prompt orbital computerized tomography is required for an accurate diagnosis.

경제 발전이 절정에 달한 국민들이 인간생활의 정상적인 질서를 파괴해 가면서 방탕한 생활의 결과가 천간인 AIDS이지 않은가 생각되며 모든 삼라만상은 제 나름대로 질서가 있는 법이거늘 하물며 만물의 영장인 인간생활의 법칙을 어기며 물질 만능의 쾌락추구자에게 내리는 형벌이라고 생각된다. 자기자신을 절제하면서 아주 평범하게 사는 사람들에게는 이 무서운 병원체일지라도 감히 침범을 못 할 것이라고 확신하면서 생활하길 바란다.

연구 및 평가용 음성 데이터베이스의 개발동향과 제안

음성인식 기술개발을 위해서는 음성 데이터베이스가 필요하다. 본고에서는 음성 입출력기술 표준화의 일환으로서의 공통음성 데이터 제정에 관한 각국의 현황을 소개하였고, 우리말을 대상으로 한 음운특성 연구용의 데이터베이스를 확보하기 위한 고려사항을 검토하였다.

확장 마크업 언어(XML)를 이용한 정간보 악보 표기법에 관한 연구

본 논문에서는 다양한 구조와 기호를 가지는 국악 악보인 정간보를 XML(Extensible Markup Language)을 이용하여 디지털 파일로 저장하는 방법에 대해 제안한다. 이를 위하여 정간보의 구조에 대하여 분석을 하고, 정간보기보에 활용되는 기호를 분류하고, 기호의 사용 형태에 대해 분석을 하였다. 이러한 분석을 기반으로 다양한 정간보의 구조와 기호를 포함하는 정간보 악보 기술 방법을 DTD(Document Type Definition) 로 정의하였다. 제안한 방법의 검증을 위하여, 정간보로 기보된 악보를 제안한 DTD에 따라 XML로 기술하였고, 정간보 악보가 기록된 XML을 해석하고 이를 정간보 형태로 나타내어주는 프로그램을 구현하여, XML로 기술된 정간보 악보가 적절하게 해석되고 정간보 악보 형태로 보여주는 것이 가능함을 보였다. In this paper, we propose an efficient method to describe and save Jeongganbo score which has various structures and symbols by using XML (Extensible Markup Language). To do this, analysis of Jeongganbo's structures, and classification of symbols for jeongganbo were preformed. Then, Jeongganbo DTD (Document Type Definition) was defined to describe Jeongganbo score in XML document. To verify the proposed method, we produced a Jeongganbo score XML file for real Jeongganbo score according to the proposed Jeongganbo DTD, and then evaluated the produced XML file by using Jeongganbo XML interpreter software which can interpret the Jeongganbo XML file and represent the Jeongganbo score.

실업계 고등학교용 자동차 전기회로 실습 시스템의 개발

The experimental system, developed in this research, is a teaching material that trains and practices automobile electric circuit in technical high school. This system consists of a textbook, 15 kinds of instruments and 62 kinds of 'Flash' animations. Textbook includes automobile electric circuits and experimental process. Instruments have 23 kinds of drills. Its is composed of electrical relays, motors, switches, light bulbs, electrical lines and power unit so on. 'Flash' animation displays an electrical current flow on circuits actually. Both Dacum method and ISD skill have been conducted to analysis job and design syllabus. The experimental system have been implemented on technical high school class to evaluate its objectivity and effect. It is expected that this system can contribute to studying of car service.

반자동 웹 서비스 조합을 위한 WS-BPEL과 OWL-S의 융합 시스템

웹 서비스는 현재 서비스 지향 아키텍처(SOA)를 구현하기 위한 가장 유망한 기술이다. 그렇지만 웹 서비스에 대한 많은 관심에도 불구하고 내부 통합 프로젝트에서만 사용되어지고, 파트너들이 '온 디맨드(on demand)' 방식으로 결합되는 가상 엔터프라이즈 환경에서는 아직 활용되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 주된 이유는 현재의 웹 서비스 기술들이 동적인 웹 서비스 발견 및 통합에 대한 적절한 기법을 제공하지 못하기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 반자동 웹 서비스 조합 시스템을 구현하기 위해 WS-BPEL 기법과 OWL-S 기법의 장점만을 채택한 새로운 SemanticBPEL 조합 기법을 기술한다. 특히, 동적 웹 서비스 발견 및 통합 문제를 해결하기 위해 다단계 웹 서비스 탐색 방법을 제안한다. 이 방법은 실험 분석을 통해 기존의 키워드 기반 검색 방법보다 성능이 우수함을 보인다. Web services are the current most promising technology for service oriented architecture(SOA) implementations. However, in spite of the large scale acceptance of web services, they have been relegated to internal integration projects, and the grand vision of virtual enterprises where partners can be integrated on demand is yet to be realized. The main reason is that the current standards of web services are not very suitable for the dynamic web service discovery and integration. In this paper, we present a novel SemanticBPEL solution that merges the benefit of WS-BPEL, with the advantage of OWL-S for building a semi-automatic web service composition system. In particular, this work proposes a multi-phase search method for solving dynamic discovery and integration problems of web services. The proposed method is compared with the existing keyword based retrieval method. These comparisons show that our approach outperforms the existing method.
