FTA, which has a huge influence on the world economy and industrial structure, also exercises a great influence on the whole country as well as the core resources of each city or local industries, Jeju is also expecting damage from the conclusion of the FTA in agricultural, livestock and marine products focusing on tangerines, not prepared to take proper measures. Though Korea has already become powerful in trade, the products are not evaluated properly in the global market due to the weak national image. This indicates that, even though a country as well as a certain city in the country exports outstanding resources or products, it is difficult to have competitive advantage without the established image of the relevant city, To be recognized as a premium product in the global market, image competition that reveals value’ begins to have more significance than quality or price competition. However, though there have been many studies on the individual effects of national image, city image or corporate image, there are few regarding city image to respond to export or FTA. Therefore, this study aims to examine the influence of the FTA in Jeju and find plans to enhance the city image of Jeju to cope with the FTA. Jeju must maintain consistency between Jeju and Jeju products by transferring the city image to resources or products with its environmentally-friendly image as the core value. Moreover, if Jeju can combine cultural history and assets that can create various values of Jeju into a story, and use the story to build a stronger city image, Jeju will be able to use the FTA as an opportunity.

세계경제와 산업구조에 큰 영향을 미치고 있는 FTA는 국가 전체에 미치는 영향 뿐만아니라 지역산업에 미치는 영향도 매우 크다. 제주 역시도 한·중 FTA 체결은 감귤을 중심으로 하는 핵심자원이 양허제외 되었으나, 대응방안을 제대로 준비하지 못한 채 피해를 입을 수밖에 없는 산업구조를 형성하고 있다. 특히 지리적으로 인접해 있으며, 가격경쟁력이 높은 중국 대체 상품의 유입에는 글로벌 경쟁뿐만 아니라 지역내 경쟁에서조차 위치를 점하기가 어렵게 될 것이다. 특히 제주지역 기업은 소규모로 한·중 FTA를 활용할 수 있는 기반이 매우 약해 규모를 확대할 수 있는 방안 마련과 함께 산업구조의 체질개선이 이루어져야만 FTA를 중심으로 하는 글로벌 경쟁에 대응할 수 있을 것이다. 이를 위해 주요 핵심산업인 농수산업의 친환경 및 유기농 상품화를 통해 프리미엄급 상품을 지향해야 한다. 또한, 지역산업과 관광산업과의 융복합화를 통한 다양한 품목의 개발과 문화컨텐츠를 바탕으로 하는 지식서비스 산업의 육성 등을 통해 한·중 FTA에 대응해야 할 것이다.

수출 제품의 원산지이미지가 제품이미지와 제품평가에 미치는 영향

This study was performed to make sure the influence of County-of-Origin Image following Media Exposure Effects, and examine the influence of it on Product Image and Evaluation among Chinese consumers. In addition, we wish to verify the process - experienced those who consumed the Korean export products are up to decide to repurchase through the Product Evaluation. As a result of the study, it showed that Media Exposure Effects among Chinese consumers has an useful effect on the County-of-Origin Image. Futhermore, it showed that the effect has an useful effect on Product Image, and Evaluation. County-of-Origin Image following Media Exposure Effects also has an useful effect on Product Image, and Evaluation. At last, Product Evaluation has an useful effect on repurchase decision, too. Through these, it is verified that County-of-Origin Image following Media Exposure Effects has an effect on repurchase decision. Therefore, it is necessary to utilize the Media strategically to increase Export Products because Media Exposure in China marketplace strengthens the Image of Export Products, and plays an important role in the process of repurchase decision.

선하증권이 선대신용장(Red Clause L/C)의 상환과 추심에 이용된 경우의 정당한 소지인의 확정조건에 관한 연구

선하증권 소지의 정당성 유무라는 총괄적인 법률 판단을 해야 한다는 것은 소송의 도착점으로서 처음부터 누구에게나 확인되었을 것이다. 법원이 국제적 추심과 신용장의 기본적 지식을 근거로 한 후에 문제의 선하증권의 흐름을 자세하게 추궁하고 있었다면 사건의 외관상의 복잡함에도 불구하고 비교적 확실하게 결론을 도출할 수 있었을 것이다. 이 사건에서 국제거래상의 소송에 대해 일본 법원은 국제경쟁력이 있는 판결을 강하게 희망해 왔지만, 이 판결도 또한 기대에 부응한 것이라고는 하기 어렵다. 이 사건은 항소 후에 화해한 사안이지만 X에게 어떤 화해금이 지급되었다면 도대체 어떤 이유에 의한 것인지 매우 의문을 가질 수 밖에 없다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 선하증권이 선대신용장의 상환과 추심에 이용된 경우에 정당한 소지인의 확정조건에 대해 일본의 판례와 독일의 견해를 중심으로 분석한 후 그 시사점을 제시하고 있다. This case must have been confirmed by anyone from the beginning as the point of arrival of the lawsuit that a comprehensive legal judgment should be made as to whether or not the possession of a bill of lading is valid. If the court would be investigated the flow of the bill of lading in question in detail after had been grounded the international collection and basic knowledge of the letter of credit, it would have been able to draw a conclusion with relative certainty despite the apparent complexity of the case. The parties to this case have strongly hoped for a Japanese court's internationally competitive ruling on international transaction litigation, but it is difficult to say that this ruling also met expectations. Although this case is a matter of reconciliation after the appeal, it can be said that if any reconciliation payments were paid to X, there is no choice but to be very questionable for what reason. In this study, when a bill of lading is used for reimbursement and collection of a red clause L/C, the implications are presented after analyzing the conditions of confirmation of the legitimate holders, focusing on Japanese case.

특혜원산지규정 분석을 통한 FTA 특혜관세 적용방안에 관한 연구

We all know that preferential tariff issues are extremely important, yet they can also be very complex, especially for countries in transition towards full application of the FTA or having only recently applied it the preferential rules of origin should be determinated when the customs classification and the customs valuation have completed. It is because customs duties varies with the country of origin. In this case, the preferential tariff and the preferential rules of origin must be used. As Korea international trade becomes more globalized and markets that were previously inaccessible become accessible, it is even more critical for the importers to study the preferential rules of origin efficiently and carefully. We may think that customs clearance shall be simpler with the expansion of the FTA because duty will be exempted in more countries. But as a matter of fact, as the FTA prescribes different duties rates for each country and makes the regulations regarding country of origin more complicated. Thus exporting or importing companies should establish management strategy to maximize the profits by analyzing the FTA's regulations on country of origin.

제주기업의 수출활성화를 위한 정책적 제언

It is getting difficult for export firms Jeju Special Self-Governing Province to enter into foreign markets, which is attributable to not only their small scale but poor capabilities of export business with economic conditions and business environments abroad getting disadvantageous to them. Amid the deteriorating export environments, there are growing needs for raising export of products in Jeju to foreign markets. In this context, this thesis aims at finding ways to activate the export of Jeju firms. To accomplish this purpose, this thesis tried to make a survey of export-support program carried out by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province on export firms by using IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis). Finally this thesis suggests some desirable direction for export-support program which should be pushed through effectively.

해상운송계약상 자율운항선박과 선박충돌에서의 민사책임에 관한 연구

Commercialization of Maritime Autonomous Surface Ship(MASS) is not far-future, considering the invention of MASS that requires a minimum of intervention of human being. Of course, there will be many issues on how much MASS will be developed in the early stage of commercialization and what the commercialized MASS will finally look like, but all the people seem to agree that we should improve the law governing MASS for commercialization. Thus, the fundamental question as to whether the unmanned ship is considered as the ship would be raised. In particular, the judge as to whether the unmanned ship is regarded as the ship can be the first step to reveal the legal obstacles as a result of the commercialization of the unmanned ship. Therefore, this study is to scrutinize the ship’s definition based on international treaties and conventions, municipal laws of the major maritime states and literature reviews relevant to the consideration of the ship’s definition in sea transport contract. And analyses the comparative discussion on the civil liability between Korean Laws and COLREG in collision. In addition, this study contributes to solving the legal issues by revealing the ship’s nature of the unmanned ship in applying to international or domestic regulations.

해외직접투자 결정요인과 전략자산의 역할 : OLI 및 거래비용분석

This study analyzes the effects of strategic assets such as variable scale returns, technology level and spillover effects, and product differentiation on the FDI location decisions and derives the policy implications of competitive advantage consolidation in the perspectives of transaction cost economics and OLI approach. Especially, we show the extant global proliferation of FTA and FDI, analyze the general determinants of international investments and FDI, and identify the effects of variable scale returns on the production equilibrium. The analysis suggests that the investment creation effects are more likely to happen in the differentiated product industry than the homogeneous product industry due to the differences in firms' strategic assets, and thus the efforts of technology upgrade, product differentiation, and the minimization of capital cost should be made for the successful FDI inducement and the strategic asset acquisition.
