A large number of seismic isolation systems have been developed since the early 1970s. They are basically a combination of elastomeric bearing and energy dissipators. The investigation described in this paper analyzes shear property and the frequency dependence of Lead Rubber Damper(LRD). Lead Rubber Damper is similar in shape and performance property to Lead Rubber Bearing. Experimental condition ranges from 20 to 200% in share strain and from 0.1 to 1.0Hz in frequency. When the shear strain is increased, effective stiffness and damping ratio are decreased. When the frequency is increased, change of the behavior characteristic is subtle.

It was found that the extracts of Sargassum thumbergii (Sargassaceae) had an anthelmintic action on Ascaris suilla and further examinations were made on the anthelmintic compounds of the seaweed. The anthelmintic principle is soluble in water, adsorbed in aqueous extract with activated carbon and elected from the carbon with 90% aqueous methanol solution. But it is not adsorbed on alumina and amberite IR-120 (H-type). The anthelmintic fractions were prepared by the use of these properties. The active principle of Sargassum thunbergii was pharmacologically examined and was found to decrease the tenisty, tonus, mobility and amplitude of Eisenia foetida nerve muscles. The active principle was subjected to paper partition chromatography but yelow spot to ninhydrin was not revealed.

Conclusion Yongjong-do, Inchon City(CHoong-ku Yongjong Branch Office) on the Western Sea of Korea consists of six islands, which belong to four donge(洞). The conclusion of the research on the propriety of the tourist industry in this area is as follows. Firstly, so far as industrial conditions are concerned Yonghon-do area has some advantages of the fighsing industry for tourists becaese farm land is small and these is lots of fishing place and beach slime. Secondly, when that aroa is developed as a fishing placl for tourists, lots of facilities are neede for the culture oysters or crams. And a lot of establishments must be built for the tourists fishing. Thirdly, in order to attrat tourists from Seoul area land routes and waterways must be improved. Fourthly, besides Yongjong-do, six islands aroundit and Yongyou-do must be built up as a tourist resort. Fifthly, in order to become an attractive tourist fishing place, lots of facilities for tourists to pick, for ekamples, shrimps, octopus, trout, cuttle-fish, and gobies must be extablished and can be used confortably. Sixthly, a farm for culture oysters or clams must be inreased and supply living fish inexpensively with trouists. Lastly, as the sea near yongjong-do is wide and shallow with lots of muddy beach, a new international toulist city must be built ofter the sea is filled up with earth from the mountains neas for building sites.

Six different O/W cream bases containing 4% ascorbic acid dipalmitate and two different O/W cream bases containing 1% ascorbic acid were prepared. Percutanceous absorption of ascorbic acid as well as safety were determined using rabbits. The stability of the creams was also tested at room temperature. Ascorbic acid concentrations in urines varied depending on the characteristics of cream bases used. The absorption of ascorbic acid was increased and sustained with the cream bases containing branched chain esters of fatty acid instead of natural oils used currently. The excretion level of ascorbic acid in urine was high with the cream base including nonionic surfactants and a small quantity of natural oils. The creams containing nonionic surfactants showed excellent stability, while those containing anionic surfactants were not stable in terms of pH, odor and coloring test at room temperature during six months. But, the two creams containing ascorbic acid were unstable. All the cream bases tested showed good safety.
