      • 파장분할다중 방식 광전송망을 위한 초광대역 광증폭기

        인터넷 이용자가 급속히 증가함에 따라 네트워크의 각 노드에서 감당해야 할 트래픽 용량이 수십 테라급에 이를 것으로 예상하고 있다. 한 개의 광섬유를 통해 테라비트 이상의 전송을 위해서는 기존의 시분할다중 방식 외에 파장분할다중 방식을 사용해야 한다. 파장분할다중 방식의 전송 용량을 확대하기 위해서는 채널당 전송 속도 또는 채널의 수를 증가시켜야 한다. 채널의 수를 증가시키기 위해서는 채널 간격을 줄이는 방안과 전송 대역폭을 넓히는 방안이 있다. 전송 대역폭을 넓히기 위해서는 초광대역 광증폭 기술이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 C/L band에서 사용되는 에르븀 첨가 광섬유 증폭기, 광섬유 라만 증폭기 및 S band 광증폭기들을 소개하고, 다양한 광신호 증폭기술에 대한 발전 동향을 분석하고자 한다. Affordable traffic capacity of each node in networks is expected to reach in Tb/s range in proportion to the rapid growth of Internet users. To transmit more than Tb/s per fiber pair, WDM should be used as well as existing TDM. To increase the capacity of transmission in WDM networks, there are two ways, increasing channel speed or channel quantity. To increase the channel quantity, there are two ways, narrow spacing or expanding transmission bandwidth. To expand bandwidth, ultra-broadband optical amplifier technology is necessary. In this paper, we introduce EDFA in effect at C/L band, FRA, and some optical amplifiers in effect at S band, and analyze the development trend of various amplification technologies.

        원지(Polygala tenuifolia WILLD.) 뿌리의 성분연구

        Five compounds were isolated from the roots of Polygala tenuifolia (Polygalaceae). On the basis of spectroscopic evidences, the structures of these compounds were characterized as ${\alpha}-D-(6-O-sinapoyl)-glucopyranosyl(1{\rightarrow}2')-{\beta}-D-(3'-O-sinapoyl)-fructofuranoside$ (P3), ${\alpha}$-D-{6-O-(p-methoxybenzoyl)}-glucopyranosyl-$(1{\rightarrow}2')$-${\beta}$-D-{3'-O-(3',4',5'-trimethoxycinnamoyl)}-fructofuranoside(P4), ${\alpha}$-D-{6-O-(p-hydroxybenzoyl)}-glucopyranosyl-$(1{\rightarrow}2')$-${\beta}$-D-{3'-O-(3',4',5'-trimethoxycinnamoyl)}-fructofuranoside(P5), ${\alpha}-D-glucopyranosyl-(1{\rightarrow}2')-{\beta}-D-(1'-O-sinapoyl)-fructofuranoside$(P6), $1,5-anhydro-D-glucitol$(P7) respectively. ${\alpha}$-D-{6-O-(p-Methoxybenzoyl)}-glucopyranosyl-$(1{\rightarrow}2')$-${\beta}$-D-{3'-O-(3',4',5'-trimethoxycinnamoyl)}-fructofuranoside(P4) and ${\alpha}-D-glucopyranosyl-(1{\rightarrow}2')-{\beta}-D-(1'-O-sinapoyl)-fructofuranoside$(P6) were isolated for the first time from the genus of Polygala. 1,5-Anhydro-D-glucitol(P7) was isolated without hydrolysis for the first time from the root of Polygala tenuifolia.

        라이프 시나리오를 통해 본 미래주택 내 생활행위 수행주체 변화에 관한 연구

        With rapid development of various information and communication technologies, to forecast future became important for coping with new environment. Experts in each field of study are forecasting future society, and considerable life scenarios are derived in the process. Life scenarios help people to approach and understand future circumstances easily. Therefore, to study future housing with life scenarios as materials will be helpful to establish the direction to the development of current housing. The purpose of this research is to examine what characterizes the housing functions and life behaviors of future house and what is changing from the housing functions and life behaviors of past and present. Content analysis was used as research method. The subject was 10 future forecasting books which reflects daily life in the house, and 1 episode relating residential space as 1 analysis unit, the total of 213 episodes were analyzed as materials. As a result, most of the life behaviors in the house are expected to be performed by robots instead of humans in the future. On the other hand, partial life behaviors are already being performed mostly by computer system, and another partial life behaviors show that the role-performance of them are not being totally by robots but partially with human.

      • 해저광케이블 수리를 위한 효율적인 탐지 및 측정 기법

        해저광케이블은 국제통신의 98% 이상을 처리하고 있는 국가의 중요한 정보통신 인프라이다. 하지만 선박의 닻, 어선의 어구, 해저 지진 등 다양한 요인으로 인해 고장이 발생하며, 고장 발생시 대용량 해저통신 트래픽의 영향을 최소화하고, 케이블 수리 선박의 운영비용 절감을 위해서 수리 기간을 최대한 단축해야 한다. 해저광케이블 고장 유형은 Shunt Fault, Cable Cut, Open Fault, Fiber Break 등 여러 유형이 있으며, 고장이 발생하면 육상 터미널 국사(육양국)에서 정확하고 신속하게 고장 유형 및 고장 지점을 파악하고, 케이블 수리 선박은 수리 현장으로 출동하여 수리 작업을 수행하게 된다. 수리작업 기간 중 육양국에서는 케이블 수리 선박에서 요청하는 각종 Test를 수행하게 되며, 이때 육양국 Test 기법은 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 해저광케이블 고장 유형 및 고장 지점 탐지 기법을 제시하고, 해저광케이블 수리기간 단축을 위한 육양국 Test 기법을 고찰하고자 한다. Submarine cable is the most important IT infrastructure for international communication across oceans. However, a cable fault rarely happens by ship's anchor, fishing gears, submarine earthquake, and so on, and we need to improve on repair time for the reducing expenses of cable repair ship as well as the stability of high-capacity submarine optical network. There are several kinds of cable faults such as Shunt fault, Cable cut, Open fault and Fiber break. When a fault is occurred, cable landing stations(CLS) have to analysis failure quickly and accurately to find the type and the location of a cable fault. During the repair period, CLS should swiftly perform the tests requested by cable repair ship. In order to make rapid progress on cable repair, CLS test technique is very important. So, in order to reduce the repair time, this paper is studying the CLS test techniques of locating a submarine cable fault and of checking the splicing point performed by cable repair ship.

        고추냉이 추출액의 항산화 효과

        This study was carried out to investigate the anti-oxidant effect of Wasabia japonica(WJ). The anti-oxidant activities of various extracts from WJ were investigated. The water and ethanol extracts of WJ leaf were found to cause significant free radical scavenging effects on DPPH and nitric oxide(NO). Sprague-Dawley male rats were randomly assigned to one normal diet and three high cholesterol diet groups which contained 1%(w/w) cholesterol. After 4weeks cholesterol diet, the groups of high cholesterol diet were classified to control(normal diet only), WJR5(normal diet and 5% WJ root) and WJL5(normal diet and 5% WJ leaf). Liver xanthine oxidase(XO) activity in the rats of high cholesterol diet was decreased up to the levels of normal diet group according to WJ diet. The results indicated that WJ possesses antioxidant effects through free radical scavenging effects on DPPH, NO and the decreasing of XO activity. In view of these results, WJ is expected to be an effective material for the anti-oxidant.

        도시지역 독자녀 고등학생들의 사회심리적 요인과 정신건강과의 관계

        Objectives: This study was performed to determine the mental health of high school students, and specifically that of children with no siblings in urban areas, and we aimed at revealing the various potential influences of different psycho-social factors Methods: The participants were, 514 high school students who were the 1st- to 3rd-graders in Daejon City; they were, given self-administered questionnaires that required no signature during the period of March through June 2005. The analyzed items included the general character of the subjects, the symptoms of stress and depression for mental health, self-esteem as a psychological component, anxiety, dependent behavioral traits and, social support of family members and friends. Results: The study results suggested that the group of urban high school children with no siblings had a higher tendency for stress and depression than did the urban high school children with siblings. The mental health and psychosocial factors were found to be influenced by friends, a sense of satisfaction at school and home life, and emotional support as well. Conclusions: In conclusion, emotional support by the family members can improve mental health by reducing anxiety, stress and depression.

        우리나라에서 분리한 참다래 궤양병균 Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae 균주들의 Biovar

        Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae는 참다래에 궤양병을 일으키는 원인세균이다. 이 병원균 집단은 분자적 특성에 따라 biovar 1, 2, 3로 나누어진다. 본 연구에서는 1997년부터 우리나라에서 분리되어 순천대학교 생물학과에 보관 중인 P. syringae pv. actinidiae 균주들의 biovar를 기존에 발표된 biovar에 특이적인 PCR primers를 사용하여 동정하였다. 전체 682개 균주 중 biovar 2에 속한 균주가 288개, biovar 3에 속한 균주가 394개였다. 그러나 우리나라에서 분리된 균주 중 biovar 1에 속하는 균주는 없었다. Biovar 3 균주에 의한 궤양병의 갑작스러운 발생과 확산은 이 균주가 빠른 전파력을 가지고 있음을 말해준다. Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae is the causative agent of bacterial canker of kiwifruit. The population of this pathogen is differentiated into three biovars, biovar 1, 2 and 3, according to their molecular characteristics. In this work, we determined biovars of P. syringae pv. actinidiae strains isolated in Korea since 1997 and stored in Department of Biology, Sunchon National University, Suncheon, Korea. The biovars of P. syringae pv. actinidiae strains were determined by PCR using biovar specific primers developed previously. Of 682 strains investigated, 288 strains belonged to biovar 2, while 394 strains were biovar 3. There were no P. syringae pv. actinidiae strains belonging to biovar 1 among the strains isolated in Korea. Sudden outbreak and spreading of bacterial canker caused by biovar 3 strain suggest that this strain has character of rapid transmission.

        지속가능 패션 실용화를 위한 디자인 교육 프로그램 개발

        Sustainability has been a big issue over the whole global industry lately and is an important fashion trend that reflects the modern phase of the time. The concept of sustainable fashion includes physical fashion products made from eco-friendly or recycle materials as well as ethical value such as corporate social responsibility for environment, labor or working condition. Fashion companies of advanced countries who are aware of the geo-environmental and ethical issues found that generating profits by setting trends and pursuing external beauty can no longer be the ultimate goal of fashion companies, and started to recognize the importance of sustainable fashion as a future-oriented trend. Not only fashion industry but also governments of advanced countries have been playing a leading role to educate the people regarding the importance of sustainable fashion and making large investments to foster industry specialists in educational institution. The aim of this study is to propose sustainable fashion design education program that fits the domestic university curriculum and government-leading education program in order to set the foundation for sustainable fashion industry. Thus, this study investigates successful cases of foreign government- led sustainable fashion education that can be introduced to improve domestic sustainable fashion education. The empirical study of the research is developing 12-15 week university level education program to foster specialists in sustainable fashion. The survey carried out by the students who participated in the program shows the change of perception on sustainable fashion. Developed university level program can be spread to municipal corporation, school of continuing education, and etc. in order to derive participation and problem perception of the citizens on sustainability. Developing systemized sustainable fashion design education program would be the first step of sustainable fashion by educating students who will take the leading role in the future fashion industry. Moreover, it can strongly influence future customer education as well as a special education inducing interest on sustainability in everyday life. A follow-up study is expected to serve as a foundation for sustainable fashion to take root successfully in the fashion industry.
