It is common to use additional carrier system on the outside of car when carrying bicycle for leisure activity. Recently, car makers have been trying to offer integrated bicycle carrier system which stows away under the rear bumper and easily be pulled out to carry up bicycles. This paper shows consideration points for developing rear bumper integrated bicycle carrier system using fold-type linkage.

This paper presents the problem of steering a group of mobile robots along given reference path while keeping a desired geometrical formation pattern. To solve the problem, formation state variables of a group consisting of two nonholonomic mobile robots are defined as center of the group and pattern of the formation. The control architecture for the two robots is developed based on model predictive control (MPC) scheme. Each robot belonging to the group interacts with the other to achieve their goals: path-following and formation control. Each robot calculates control inputs for prediction horizon and transmits the control inputs to its neighbor. Using the transmitted information, the robot can calculate optimal control input to track the given path while holding a desired formation. The performance of the proposed algorithm is validated by numerical simulations.

한국 전통 악기인 편경을 체계적으로 설계하기 위한 최적 형상 설계 알고리즘을 제안한다. 편경은 16 개의 서로 다른 크기의 경편으로 구성되어 있다. 각 경편의 첫 번째 진동 고유 주파수는 전통 소리 튜닝 방법에 의해 결정되는 특정 주파수에 일치하여야 하고, 두 번째와 세 번째 진동 고유 주파수들은 첫 번째 진동 고유 주파수와 단 3 화음 관계(1:1.498:2.378)를 가져야 한다. 제안한 설계 알고리즘의 핵심은 경편의 각 변의 길이 변화에 따른 고유 주파수의 민감도를 구하고, 이를 이용하여 위 두 가지 설계 목적에 부합하는 경편의 치수를 결정하는 것이다. 제안하는 방법으로 5 개의 서로 다른 경편의 형상 치수를 결정하였다. 그리고, 제작 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 오차를 보상하기 위해, 경편의 국부적인 두께 변화에 따른 진동 고유 주파수의 변화에 대해서도 살펴보았다. An optimal shape design algorithm is suggested to systematically design a traditional Korean musical instrument, the Pyeongyeong. The Pyeongyeong consists of 16 different chime stones called Gyeongpyeons. The first natural vibration frequency of each Gyeongpyeon must be adjusted to its target frequency, which is determined by the traditional sound tuning method. The second and third natural frequencies must be proportional to the first natural frequency with a specific ratio (1:1.498:2.378). The key idea in our suggested design algorithm is to use the sensitivity of natural frequencies to the variation in the length of each side of a Gyeongpyeon. The dimensions of five different Gyeongpyeons are determined by following the suggested algorithm. Changes in natural frequencies with respect to local thickness variation are closely investigated to compensate for errors that may occur during manufacturing.

It is common to use the Trailer hitch system to carry a small cart, bicycles, a boat and even car. And most of them are attached on side members of a vehicle as after-market products. But it is hard work to detach a muffler and rear bumper because of huge size and crossing layout, and make a trouble to decline the fuel efficiency and an attractive unique appearance of car. So a vehicle like SUV, MPV and SUT has been sold as attached a hitch receiver by car makers. Recently a receiver is being put to use for disable person and elder people. This paper shows consideration points for developing rear bumper and beam system integrated variable hitch receiver.

Along with popularization of leisure activities, automobile customers want more and more storage space for various equipments. It is common to use additional carrier system on the outside of car when carrying large size loads or leisure equipments such as bicycles. This study deals with consideration points of developing rear bumper integrated storage system, especially in view of optimized layout for SUV/MPV and how to satisfy regulations which is related with the location of this system.
점토광물이 콩나물의 생장과 미네랄 함유량에 미치는 영향

본 연구에서는 점토광물인 황토 지장수와 견운모 상등액을 이용하여 콩나물의 생장률과 무기이온의 함량을 비교하고자 하였다. 실험결과 콩나물의 총 길이는 견운모 상등액 콩나물이 황토 지장수에 비해 14.71%, 수돗물에 비해 50% 길었다. 또한 뿌리의 길이는 견운모 상등액 콩나물의 뿌리가 황토 지장수에 비해 36.05%, 수돗물에 비해 17.30% 길었다. 이는 견운모에 함유되어 있는 K? 성분과 미네랄이 식물의 뿌리에 작용하여 줄기도 윤기가 있게 성장을 한 것 같다. 견운모 상등액 콩나물의 경우 황토지장수로 재배한 콩나물에 비해 11.56%, 수돗물과 비교하여 13.48%의 많은 미네랄을 함유하고 있었다. 다양한 견운모의 농도를 이용하여 콩나물의 생장률과 미네랄 흡수량을 비교한 결과 100g/L의 농도에서 가장 좋은 생장률을 나타내었고, 미네랄의 흡수량은 100g/L와 200g/L가 비슷하여 경제적인 면을 고려한다면 100g/L의 농도가 콩나물을 재배하는데 적합하다고 생각된다. The objective of this research was to investigate the effect of various clay materials on the growth and change in mineral composition of soybean sprout. Further effect of sericite concentration on growth of soybean sprout was optimized. The experiments were carried by using three different viz., loess supernatant, tap water and sericite supernatant. From the obtained results it was found that a significant growth in soybean sprouts was observed while using sericite supernatant this growth was 14.71% and 50% more total growth than that of loess supernatant and tap water. In addition, using sericite supernatant the length of root of soybean sprouts was reached 17.30% and 36.50% longer than that of tap water and loess supernatant. The plausible reason for this growth using sericite supernatant may be due to the presence of various mineral(K?, Ca?) in sericite. Further the mineral contents of sericite supernatant were 11.56% and 13.48% more than that for loess supernatant and tap water. Among the various sericite concentration used it was found that 100g/L sericite supernatant showed significant growth rate compared with other fractions. From the obtained results comparing with all materials 100g/L sericite concentration was economic for the cultivation of soybean sprout.

A spoiler is one of most important factors for secure Aerodynamic performance and recently is not any more option part for MPV/SUV/Hatchback, by reducing strength of rear wake zone and optimizing flow separation of a roof end to prevent increasing drag. Until now, Blow method in mold has been seen as a typical one for spoiler. But, most of automobile companies use the Injection type for reduction of cost and weight and for getting more complicated design. In this study, we can set a standard of engineering design in optimized position and distance between mounting hardware and in evaluating the stiffness for opened shaped spoiler as well as large sized exterior parts with high stiffness material and see the higher quality of it with panel and other parts than blow method typed one.
