김수영의 시에서 역설은 단순히 기법으로만 사용되는 것이 아니라 세계와 현상에 대한 관점이자 인식의 방법으로 작동한다. 사물의 본질이 단일하고 평면적인 모습으로 지각되기보다는 애매하고 복잡한 형태로 현시되기 때문에 시인의 체험을 종합하면서 시적 통일성을 이루는 데 역설이 긴요하게 기능할 수 있다. 김수영은 역설을 통해 자아와 현실의 갈등을 응시하고 시인으로서의 양심을 점검하면서 자신을 둘러싼 현실의 문제를 고발하였다. <도적>에서 집안에 든 도적과 시적 자아의 죄를 견주면서 손상된 양심에 대한 깨달음과 비판을 역설적으로 드러냈다. <거짓말의 여운 속에서>에서는 자신의 거짓말에 자신이 엮여 들게 된 아이러니를, 자유를 보장하지 않는 사회의 비판으로 확장하며 역설적 구도를 완성하였다. <이 韓國文學史>에서도 세속적이고 폭력적인 현실을 자각하고 그것을 뚫고 나아가기 위해 분투하는 시적 자아의 목소리를 역설적으로 구조화하였다. 그에 비해 <그 방을 생각하며>와 <現代式橋梁>에서는 역설을 통해 역사의 통찰을 수행하였다. <그 방을 생각하며>에서 혁명의 실패를 도리어 커다란 성취로 삼는 태도, 즉 잃음으로써 얻는 역설적 태도를 통해 역사에 대한 긍정적 신념을 표출하였다. 그 신념은 <現代式 橋梁>에서 상반된 가치를 결합하면서 혼란과 갈등을 끌어안고 나아가는 사랑’으로 이어지는데, <사랑의 變奏曲>에서 그 ‘사랑’이 커다란 역사적 역경과 희생으로 이룩된 것이라는 깨달음을 작고 하찮은 사물을 이용하여 역설적으로 제시하였다. 김수영은 세계의 현상을 보이는 대로 인식하지 않고 그 본질을 근원적인 시각으로 파악하려 하였다. 따라서 상대적인 관점으로 볼 때 대립되거나 차등되는 관계가, 절대적인 관점에서 동등하거나 역전되는 것으로 파악하기도 하였다. 이러한 역설적 인식과 태도를 통해, 양심을 자각하고 사회의 문제를 고발하였으며 현실을 통찰하고 역사적 신념을 바탕으로 한 전망을 시도하였다. The paradox in the poems of Kim Soo-yeong was not used merely as technique but served as a perspective towards the worlds and phenomenon and futhermore worked as a methodology for perception. As the essence of objects are perceived as ambiguous and complicated forms, rather than being perceived as single and two-dimensional forms, the paradox may take on useful functions in integrating the experiences of the poet and achieving poetic uniformity. Kim Soo-yeong looked into the conflicts between his ego and reality and examined the conscientiousness as a poet while revealing problems of reality surrounding him through the medium of paradox. In a poem titled <Thief>, he revealed his realization and criticism towards impaired conscience paradoxically by comparing the thief breaking into the house and sins of poetic ego. In the <Lingering Imagery>, he presented an extension of his criticism towards the society that did not guarantee freedom, thereby completing paradoxical structures in his poem, in respect of the irony that trapped him with his own lies. In the <History of Korean Literary History>, he presented paradoxical structuralization of the voice from his poetic ego that realized the secular and violent reality and strived to break through. By contract, his poems titled <Thinking of the Room> and <Modern Bridge>, he showed a historic insight through paradox. In the <Thinking of the Room>, he expressed a positive belief in history through paradoxical attitude of winning by losing, an attitude that takes failure in revolution as a significant achievement. Such belief developed into a ‘love’ embracing both confusion and conflict through combination of contradictory values in <Modern Bridge>. In the <Variation of Love>, he made a paradoxical presentation of his realization that the ‘love’ was achieved by great historic adversities and sacrifices through the prism of small and trivial objects. Kim Soo-yeong attempted to keep track of the essence in the phenomenon of the world from fundamental standpoint, rather than perceiving it as it is seen. Thus, he sometimes figured out that conflicting and differential characteristics seen from relative standpoint became equivalent or reversed when they were observed from absolute perspective. Moreover, that could be a methodology for perception based on premise of absolute belief in righteousness and truth.

산양유의 체세포수는 측정방법에 따라 많은 차이가 보고되고 있으나 국제적인 표준방법으로 pyronin Y-methyl green stain에 의한 직접현미경법이 사용되고 있다. 8개 목장 총 48개 시료를 pyronin Y-methyl green stain에 의한 직접검경법, 국립축산과학원에서 보유중인 ADAM-SCC, 충청북도 축산위생연구소에서 보유중인 Somacount 500으로 측정하여 결과를 비교하였다. Pyronin Y-methyl green stain 측정시 전체 평균은 $7.3{\times}10^5$ cells/mL인 반면 ADAMSCC와 Somacaount 500은 각각 $4.9{\times}10^5$과 $11.6{\times}10^5$ cells/mL로 나타나 과소 또는 과대평가되는 결과를 보였다. 직접현미경법과 ADAM-SCC또는 Somacaount 500과의 상관계수는 각각 0.0332 또는 0.2285로 매우 낮으며 장비간의 상관계수도 0.1552로 매우 낮게 나타났다. 산양유의 체세 포수 저감을 위해서는 측정장비의 개발이 필요하며 장비를 표준화하기 위한 표준측정법으로 pyronin Y-methyl green stain의 채택이 필요하다.

긴바수염반날개[Atheta (Bessobia) occulta (Erichson)] (신칭)를 한반도에서 처음으로 보고한다. 이 종에 대한 재기재, 체형사진 및 식별형질에 대한 삽화를 제시한다. Atheta (Bessobia) occulta (Erichson) is newly discovered in the Korean peninsula. A redescription, habitus photograph, and illustrations of diagnostic characters are provided.

한국산 미기록 종인 네무늬구멍썩덩벌레붙이(Lissodema plagiatum Lewis) (신칭)를 한반도에서 처음으로 보고하고, Lissodema laevipennis Marseul의 한국 기록을 삭제한다. 한국산 썩덩벌레붙이과에 대한 종 검색표와 미기록 종에 대한 사진과 분류학적 의견을 제시한다. Lissodema plagiatum Lewis is newly recorded and L. laevipennis Marseul is removed from the Korean fauna. A habitus photograph and taxonomic note of the newly recorded species are provided, with a key to Korea species of the family Salpingidae Leach.

김치에서 분리한 Lactobacillus plantarum LHC52의 항균활성과 요구르트의 관능성 연구

The aim of our study was to develop a new starter culture for fermented milk. Polymerase chain reaction screening of 103 acid-producing isolates from Kimchi identified 72 Lactobacillus strains. The ability of the strains to inhibit the growth of the food-borne human pathogens (Escherichia coli, Salmonella Enteritidis, Staphylococcus aureus) was measured, using a conventional paper disk method. Among the 72 strains, strain LHC52 displayed potent antagonistic activity. Use of 16S rDNA sequencing and the API 50CHL system identified the strain as Lactobacillus plantarum and it was designated L. plantarum LHC52. Biochemical analyses revealed especially high antibacterial activity against E. coli. Yogurt produced using L. plantarum LHC52 did not show different microbiological and physicochemical properties compared to conventionally-prepared yogurt, implicating L. plantarum LHC52 as a useful, potently antibacterial starter culture for yogurt preparation.

큰머리톱가슴긴고목벌레[Mimemodes cribratus (Reitter)] (신칭)을 국내에서 처음으로 보고하고, 한국산 톱가슴긴고목벌레과의 종 분류 검색표 및 본 종의 기재문과 식별형질에 대한 사진을 제공한다. Mimemodes cribratus (Reitter) is newly recognized from Korea. The present study includes a redescription, images of habitus and diagnostic characters of the species. In addition, a key to Korean species of Monotomidae is provided.

한국산 미기록 속인 뚱보바수염반날개속(Thamiaraea Thomson) (신칭)의 2종-큰뚱보바수염반날개(T. diffinis Sharp) (신칭)와 뚱보바수염반날개(T. japonica Cameron) (신칭)-을 한반도에서 처음으로 보고한다. 이 2종에 대한 검색표, 재기재, 및 식별형질에 대한 그림을 제시한다. A taxonomic study of the genus Thamiaraea Thomson in Korea is presented. The genus and its two species (T. diffinis Sharp and T. japonica Cameron) are new to the Korean Peninsula. A key, redescriptions and illustrations of diagnostic characters are provided.

한계상태식의 3차 다항식 근사를 통한 구조물 신뢰도 평가

본 논문에서는 불확실성을 확률변수로 가정하고 구조물의 파손기준을 한계상태식(Limit State Equation)으로 정의하였다. 한계상태식을 Fleishman의 3차 다항식으로 근사하고 이론적인 확률 모멘트(Moments)를 계산하였다. Fleishman은 표준정규 분포 확률변수에 대해서만 3차 다항식을 제시하였으나, 본 논문에서는 이를 확장하여 베타, 감마, 균일 분포 등 다양한 확률 변수에 적용하였다. 확률 모멘트를 계산하기 위해서 누률(Cumulants)과 정규화된 한계상태식을 활용하였으며, 피어슨 시스템(Pearson System)을 통해 한계상태식의 확률분포를 근사하였다. In this paper, uncertainties and failure criteria of structure are mathematically expressed by random variables and a limit state equation. A limit state equation is approximated by Fleishman's 3rd order polynomials and the theoretical moments of an approximated limit state equation are calculated. Fleishman introduced a 3rd order polynomial in terms of only standard normal distiribution random variables. But, in this paper, Fleishman's polynomial is extended to various random variables including beta, gamma, uniform distributions. Cumulants and a normalized limit state equation are used to calculate a theoretical moments of a limit state equation. A cumulative distribution function of a normalized limit state equation is approximated by a Pearson system.
