디지털이미징서비스(Digital imaging service)가 '찍는 즐거움'에서 '보는 즐거움'으로 소비자의 마음을 움직이고 있다. 이러한 변화에는 모바일 기기의 확산과 기능의 향상도 큰 몫을 차지했다. 언제 어디서나 인터넷을 통해 디지털 이미지를 합성, 보관, 전송, 인화해주는 디지털이미징서비스는 디지털 사진을 인터넷상의 전자앨범 형태로 보관하거나 친구, 가족들과 사진을 공유할 수 있고, 저렴한 가격에 일반사진과 똑같은 형태로 인화도 가능하다. '보는 즐거움'을 넘어 '체험하는 즐거움'을 제공함으로써 디지털 사진 시대를 열고 있는 것이다.

FRBR모형의 적용 전략에 관한 연구 - 해외 사례를 중심으로 -

서지세계의 개념모형인 FRBR은 디지털도서관의 확산으로 그 유용성이 더 증대되고 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 FRBR 모형의 적용 전략을 살펴보기 위한 것이다. 이 연구에서는 해외 적용사례를 대상으로 FRBR 모형의 채택 이유와 FRBR 제1집단 개체의 수용방법을 살펴보았다. 이 연구 결과는 FRBR모형에 대한 연구 및 구현의 활성화를 위해 활용될 수 있을 것이다. FRBR(Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records) that is conceptual model of bibliographic universal is increased its value because of spreading digital libraries. This research investigates application strategies of the FRBR model, For the study 7 foreign application cases are analyzed. Especially focused on the reason of adoption and method of the entities in the first group of the FRBR model. The result of this research could be the basic resources for study and implementation of the FRBR Model.

FRBR 모형의 수용에 관한 연구

이 연구에서는 관련 저록간의 서지적 관계를 계층화하여 효과적으로 연계하기 위한 IFLA의 FRBR 모형의 개념과 응용사례에 나타난 문제점을 검토한 후. 모형에 반영된 기본표목의 관점을 배제하구 관련 저작의 연결장치로서 ISTC를 도입하여 FRBR 모형을 M-FRBR 모형으로 수정하였다 수정된 M-FRBR 모형을 한국문학작품에 적용하여 그 활용성을 검토한 후, 이를 토대로 MODS의 데이터 요소를 재조정하여 레코드 형식을 개발하고 서지시스템을 구현하였다. This study examines the concept of the FRBR model of IFLA, which stratifies the bibliographic relationships between related works and bibliographic records and effectively links them, as well as the problems occurring in the applied cases. Moreover, it modifies the FRBR model by accepting the excluding perspectives of main entry heading and introducing ISTC as a linking device of the related work. This study examines the validity of the M-FRBR model by applying it to Korean literature, resettles the data elements of MODS based on the M-FRBR model. and realizes a bibliographic system based on the modified record format.

디지털도서관에서 분산자원 검색을 위한 장서 정보에 관한 연구

장서 수준에서 자원을 기술하는 것은 분산된 자원에 효과적으로 접근하는 정보 서비스의 중요한 구성요소로 인식되고 있다. 이 연구는 분산 자원을 효율적으로 탐색하고 관리하기 위한 CLD의 개념과 특징, 효과, 관련 표준을 살펴봄으로 장서정보 연구에 대한 기초를 제공하기 위한 것이다. 또한 외국에서 수행된 CLD 관련 프로젝트를 검토함으로서 주제 접근을 강화하기 위한 우리나라 디지털도서관의 새로운 방향을 제시하기 위한 것이다. The description of resources at collection-level is being recognised as an important component of information services that seek to provide integrated access to distributed resources. This research investigated the concept, necessities, and standards of collection level description which manages heterogeneous and distributed resources effectively. Also this research reviewed collection level description projects in other countries to show a new direction of subject access in digital libraries.

RDA 도입에 대한 사서의 인식 연구 - 대학도서관 사서와의 면담을 중심으로 -

이 연구의 목적은 국내 RDA 도입 현황과 RDA 도입에 대한 대학도서관 사서의 인식을 고찰하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 국내 도서관 중 RDA를 도입한 2개 도서관의 도입 현황을 분석하였다. 또한, 대학도서관 사서 8명을 대상으로 면담을 시행하였고, RDA 도입 관련 서술형 답변을 수집하고 분석하였다. 면담 조사 결과, 연구참여자들은 RDA에 대해, RDA의 개념은 매우 어렵고 추상적이며, RDA를 적용한 구현 사례가 적고, 단위도서관의 인력과 예산 여건상 RDA 도입은 매우 어려울 것이라고 인식하고 있었다. 연구참여자들이 인식하고 있는 RDA 도입 방안은 RDA에 관한 인식을 개선하고, RDA에 관한 교육을 진행하고, RDA 도입을 위한 하이브리드 서지레코드 구축을 위한 지침을 마련하고, RDA 시범 기관 운영이 바람직하고, 성과 모델을 수립해야 한다는 것이다. 또한, 연구참여자들은 구현을 위해 업체와 조율이 필요하고, 일괄 소급 변환보다는 특정 시점 변경이 바람직하고, 성공 사례를 발굴하고, RDA 관련 온라인 채널을 마련하고, 국가전거 DB를 구축하여 활용하고, 국가적 예산 및 시스템 지원이 필요하다고 인식하고 있었다. 이 연구에서는 연구 결과를 토대로 국내 대학도서관 RDA 도입 방안을 제시하였다.

링크드 데이터에서 인물 정보의 식별 및 연계 범위 확장에 관한 연구: 국립중앙도서관 링크드 데이터를 중심으로

본 연구에서는 국립중앙도서관 링크드 데이터를 대상으로 인물 정보가 표현되고 연계되는 방식을 분석하고, 이를 확장하기 위한 방안을 제안하였다. 분석 결과, 저자로서의 인물 정보는 링크드 데이터에서도 인물을 표현하는 어휘와 연계되어 기술되고 있는 반면에, 주제로 표현된 인물은 개념으로만 취급되고 있었다. 또한 링크드 데이터 구축과정에서 기존의 전거 정보를 변환한 것 외에는 별도의 부가 정보를 추가했는지를 확인할 수 없었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 저자로서의 인물 정보뿐 아니라 주제로서의 인물 정보도 서지 정보에 포함시키고, 저자로서의 인물정보와 주제로서의 인물 정보를 연계할 때 링크드 데이터의 품질을 제고할 수 있다고 판단하였다. 그리고 이와 더불어 인물과 관련된 부가 링크 정보를 함께 구축하고 이를 활용하여 서지데이터 검색의 접근점을 확장하는 방안도 함께 제안하였다. This study analyzed the methods for representing and linking personal information in the linked data of National Library of Korea and provided suggestions for expanding the scope of identifying and linking of the personal information. As a result, the personal information as a subject has been dealt with a concept, where the personal information as a contributor has been linked with a vocabulary of personal name. In addition, there have not been assured of including additional information except existing authority data in the process of building the linked data. Therefore, this study suggested that linking personal information as a subject and personal information as a contributor was essential for the quality of linked data. In addition, we proposed to provide additional information related to the person in linked data for expanding the scope of access points in information discovery.

NewsML을 고려한 기술동향정보 메타데이터에 관한 연구

기술동향정보는 연구개발 활동과 과학기술정책의 결정과정에서 매우 중요한 요소이다. 그러나 기술동향정보 메타데이터에 관한 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 이 연구는 뉴스분야에서 표준적 위치에 있는 NewsML을 참고하되, 국내 기술동향정보 서비스에서 사용된 요소를 고려하여 기술동향정보 메타데이터 요소와 스킴을 제안하였다. 이 연구 결과는 앞으로 국내의 실정에 맞는 기술동향정보 메타데이터 표준을 개발하기 위한 기초자료로 이용될 수 있을 것이다. The Information of Technology Trend is one of the critical factors for research activities. In addition, this information tremendously affects the decision-making process of Science and Technology Policy. However, metadata of this information has not gain much attention so far. This research suggests metadata element and encoding scheme that is based on NewsML and using metadata of domestic Information of Technology Trend service system. The result of this research provides the basic resources for developing standard metadata of Information of Technology Trend which is suitable for domestic information technology situation.

국내 도서관 폭소노미 태그의 일반적 패턴 연구

This study has introduced folksonomy to general patterns of folksonomy tags for the university libraries that have practically implemented Library 2.0. From the results, we can see that average about 1.35 tag is used for one content. Typical pattern of the tags follow a power function that frequency of use decreases as No. of uses increases, 79.51% of tags are expressing topic of contents, and 84.61% of tags are tag of social motivation. The results of analysis on increase/decrease rate for tags divided into 4 quarters said that A university library has big differences from quarters while B university library has similar data between quarters. The users have used average 5.25 tags. Trends of the users can be divided into 3 groups according to tagging patterns of the users.

트랜잭션 로그 분석을 통한 웹기반 온라인목록의 검색행태 추이 분석

이 연구에서는 웹기반 온라인목록 이용자들의 전반적인 검색행태를 알아보기 위해, 7년 동안의 트랜잭션 로그를 분석하였다. 웹기반 온라인목록의 검색형태는 검색전략과 검색실패의 관점에서 조사하였다. 검색전략에서는 검색유형, 접근점, 연산자, 검색문의 길이, 단어 사용횟수, 웹기반 온라인목록 이용횟수, 시간대별 및 요일별 이용횟수를 분석하였다. 또한 검색실패는 검색실패율과 접근점별 검색실패율, 연산자별 검색실패율을 분석하였다. 이 연구결과는 향후 웹기반 온라인목록 시스템과 서비스 개선에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. In this study in order to verify the overall information seeking behavior of the Web-based OPAC users, it was analyzed transaction log file for 7 years. Regarding Web-based OPAC information seeking behavior, it was studied from the perspective of information seeking strategy and information seeking failure. In search strategy, it was analyzed search type, search options, Boolean operator, length of search text, number of uses of word, number of use Web-based OPAC, number of use by time, by week day. Also, in search failure, search failure ratio, search failure ratio by search options, search failure ratio by Boolean operator were analyzed. The result of this study is expected to be utilized for OPAC system and service improvement in the future.
