        쇄골하 중심정맥 카테테르 거치 후 발생한 종격동 및 늑막강 수흉 1예 보고

        Hydrothorax is a known complication of central venaus catheterization. We observed mediastinal hydrothorax following intrapleural effusion secondary to central venous catheter malposition in a 3 month child who was treated with respiratory support and chest drainage sucessfully. The position of central venous catheter should be evaluated routinely by chest X-ray or aspiration of blood through the central venous catheter to avoid complication.

        상완신경총손상 환자에서 경피적 경막외척수자극의 효과

        Spinal dorsal column stimulation is one of the effective treatment for some patients with medically and surgically intractable pain. The rationale for dorsal column stimulation has been the $quot;gate theory$quot; of pain proposed by Melzack and Wall. We procedured the percutaneous epidural stimulation of the spinal cord in the patient with left brachial plexopathy by the traffic accident. The pain was causalgic and intractable to the conventional treatment. The procedure was done in the operating room with aseptic technique under C-arm radiographic guidance. The 16G Tuohy needle was advanced through the T3-4 interspace into the epidural space and then the electrode was inserted through the needle and advanced in the epidural space so that the tip rested on C2 body. The position of the tip of electrode was checked by fluoroscopy with image intensification with C-arm. The test stimulation was carried out using 3.5 volt for one week. The patient experienced a good pain relief and also a comfortable paresthesia of the painful left upper extremity and had no major complications. The electrode was removed to be replaced with a permanent one.

        조피볼락 ( Sebastes schlegeli ) 사료의 EPA 및 DHA 필수성

        Feeding trials were conducted to determine the essentiality of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), and to compare the efficiency between EPA and DHA for juvenile Korean rockfish. Fish averaging 2.1g were fed experimental diets containing different levels of EPA or DHA, and different combinations of EPA and DHA in two separate experiments. Graded levels (0.0∼1.75%) of dietary EPA or DHA as ethyl esters were substituted for a part of the 8% beef tallow in the basal diet. After 5 weeks of the experimental period, weight gain, chemical composition of whole body, protein and lipid retention efficiency, hepatosomatic index, and fatty acid composition of liver were measured. Daily growth rate and feed efficiency were the lowest in fish fed the diets without EPA and DHA. These responses were effectively improved by increasing EPA or DHA in the diets up to 1.0% levels, and then reached a plateau between 1.0 and 1.75% levels of either EPA or DHA. Protein and lipid retention efficiency were also improved with the high levels of dietary EPA or DHA. DHA was superior to EPA at the same level of each in weight gain, feed efficiency, and protein and lipid retention efficiency. Hepatosomatic index tended to decrease with increase of the dietary EPA or DHA levels. Lipid contents of whole body were increased with levels of EPA or DHA in the diets. Dietary EPA and/or DHA levels affected directly the fatty acid composition of liver polar lipid. EPA or DHA in the liver polar lipid were increased with levels of dietary EPA or DHA, respectively, whereas those in nonpolar lipid were not affected by the dietary levels of EPA and/or DHA. These finding indicate that either of the EPA or DHA is essential for normal growth of Korean rockfish, and the essential fatty acid requirement is 1.0% of EPA and/or DHA in the diet. DHA is superior to EPA as essential fatty acid, and the dietary EPA/DHA ratio of less than 1.0 may be adequate for normal growth of Korean rockfish fed a diet enough n-3HUFA(EPA and DHA).

        Foreign labors are increasing in Korean construction site due to lacks of domestic labors. The consciousness of domestic labors influences on the organization management in construction projects. So, the purpose of this study is to analyze the consciousness of the domestic labors are conscious that employment of illegal alien foreign labors are faithful and useful for the easy works in construction site. However, it is also revealed that the difficulty of employment, the short stay period, and little Korean ability are problems of illegal alien foreign labors to overcome for the improvement of organization management.

        CIGS 박막의 전착에 관한 연구

        Cu(In, Ga)$Se_2$ (CIGS) 박막은 다원화합물이기 때문에 제조공정이 매우 까다롭다. 진공장치를 사용하는 제조 방법으로 동시증착법, 스퍼터링법 +셀렌화가 있고, 비진공 제조 방법으로 전기화학적인 전착법이 있다. 각 방법에 있어서도 출발 물질의 종류에 따라 다양한 제조 방법이 동원 될 수 있다. 진공증착에 의한 방법은 고품질의 박막을 얻는데 사용 되고 있으나 고가의 진공장비가 사용되므로 대면적화에 따른 제조비용 측면에서 문제가 있다. 이에 비하여, 전착법은 간단하면서도 저가로 대면적화를 이룰 수 있다는 장점 때문에, 많은 관심이 기울여지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 Mo/Glass전극위에 Ga/(In + Ga) = 0.3의 성분비를 만족시키는 CIGS 박막을 전기화학적으로 제조하기 위하여, $Cu^{2+}$, $In^{3+}$, $Ga^{3+}$, $Se^{4+}$ 4성분을 모두 포함하는 전해질 수용액 내에서, 4성분의 이온들이 동시에 환원되는 전위를 조절하여 CIGS 박막을 전착 하였다. SEM을 이용하여 얻어진 CIGS 박막의 전착된 시료의 표면을 관찰하였고, EDS로 그 조성을 분석하였다. 또한, XRD를 이용하여 전착시료의 열처리 전후의 결정성변화를 조사하였다. The chalcopyrite $Cu(In_xGa_{(1-x)})Se_2$ (CIGS) is considered to be one of the effective light-absorbing materials for thin film photovoltaic solar cells. We describe the electrodeposition of CIGS thin films in ambient laboratory conditions, and suggest the electrochemical conditions to prepare stoichiometric CIGS thin films of Ga/(In + Ga) = 0.3. In acidic solutions containing $Cu^{2+}$, $In^{3+}$, $Ga^{3+}$ and $Se^{4+}$ ions, the CIGS films of different Cu/In/Ga/Se chemical compositions were electrodeposited onto Mo/Glass substrate. The structure, morphology and chemical composition of electrodeposited CIGS films were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), respectively.

        생물막을 이용한 상수 원수에서의 암모니아 제거 특성

        The presence of ammonia, usually in the form of ammonium ion(NH_4^+), can enhance bacterial growth in the distribution system and make the production of drinking water more costly if ammonium must be removed to ensure good disinfection. Removal of ammonia by biological oxidation could be economical which prevents excess chlorine dosage. In this research, effects of hydraulic retention time(HRT) and media type on the ammonia removal efficiencies of submerged biofilm reactor were investigated. The biofilm reactors combined the characteristics of high biological solids capture efficiency and good hydraulic control. The results indicate that biofilms can remove over 77 percent of the ammonia with HRT of longer than 2 hr even at low temperature ranging from 14.6 to 16.6℃. The HRT has a significant effect on nitrification. The overall nitrification and efficiency of ammonia removal increase with increasing HRT. It has also been observed that when the fibrous media was used, the ammonia removal, nitrification rate and endurance to shuck improved.
