視覺造形에 關한 硏究 : Study on the Visual Formation

The expression of visual language for the formation has been very important for the moderns regardless of the west and the east. Because it has been existing for the human life. The design has spoken for the ideal of our time. The designer has been a scientist and artist, doing the role of a social reformer, achieving our perfection. The visual expression has been thought as that of the effect of the function, which is the communication of the conception throught the visual sense, and that of the perception and feeling of the form and he form the color. Our best should be done for the design improvement, from a small board on the Street to the outdoor advertisement and the exports packages, and from a bottle cup to a new city planning, for the realization of a better life and society. To solve the problem in this area, the subject of form and color and the perception has been examined. Now we are trying to experince the visual perception by arranging those esements in the space intentionally, by observing the nature and discovering of what elements the form of the object is composed. In 1919. Bauhaus was found in Germany. It exerted an innovating influence on the architecture creating new beauty of rationality and function in the industrial technology, on the arts and crafts, the commercial design, the photography, the typography and on the stage setting. A new idea is presented after considering how the symbolization and illustration as the visual formation has been applied in our society. The statement, is made briefly, on the optical pattern's new expression in the poster, the magazine, the catalogue cover, in the newspaper advertisement, the packing, and in wall deeoration of buildings, and on the poster's expression technique and the visual effect of the idea. The effect of beauty of spatial composition from the plane poster to the three dementional showwindow display was taken care of. Finally. we should study the wide range of the visual language for the formation demanded essentially according to the reformation of mind and maten'al, having a new understanding of the visual formation resulted from the change of human thought caused by social variation.

Packaging is a art of being known, a science, and a technic to transfer and sell a merchandise. Packaging is not only a act persuing a beauty that protects the contents of merchandise at reasonable price and meets the need of fashion but also a design for consumer to know easily about distinction of manufacture, brand, and contents. The economic development and the increase of export help the packaging design it is that advance. In my opinion, domestikation of synthetical resin packaging is made a turning point in the field of packaging by the increase of export in quantity, variaty of export, and increase of income. It was mentioned in the preface that packaging design is placed a emphasis on in world market these day and I'm going to look at what packaging ask for on the sort as a part of advertise. Considering the sales method in the past, whether or not consumer got a good impression depended on service made by clerk. Recently sales methods differ gradually and department store and supermarket run by self-service is prevailing. Packaging is speechless salesman, and visual communication backs up the salesman and is starting point. If packaging design, although excellent, don't communicate through media, it is impossible to look forward to active sales. It is impossible to sell merchandise without media but advertising design regarded as communication is important to enterprise with respect to management and vitality of enterprise. The consumer have close relationship with a merchandise that differs from that of the past. It that situation, the consumer is free in choosing the merchandise so that packaging design plays a role of speechless sales. However, though packaging is good, and up-to-date consumer don't like packaging unlike contents of merchandise. When we design packaging for food, we make a design light, comfortable in reply to housewife due to safety and sanitary packaging. Recently, the same kind of merchandise appears in the market due to new product of large scale devidend in detail. In this situation, the discrimination and informationization of merchandise and study of packaging design is to understand and to communicate merchandise education of packaging design that is recognized, widely in industry appears to be needed. Korea design and packaging center opens exhibition of industrial design, packaging international packaging, to promote a packaging design, but recognition of people is making because of lack of positive production by massmedia and enterprise. From now on, we make effort to develop a packaging design, so as for world to understand over characteristic merchandise appearing in world market.
