The object of this study is upper class house in Yang-dong village with the purpose of spatial-sociological study of traditional Korean architecture. Space is the basic element of architecture and is fundamental for understanding architecture. Space, however, can be better understood through its social context rather than through its physical or psychological attributes. Space exists in a society, providing the physical environment which frames it Social environment affects the thoght of people who are members of that society. Space is built by the people in a society and is affected by their thought. Spatial-sociological study can explain a mutual relation between people and space through context. It defines characteristics of space based on mutual relations which exist among the people, the culture of society and the environment of society but also having a sociological component, study of architectural space should consider the social context. Since architectural space is built on social and cultural bases, to understand it requires various methods of study Spatial-sociological analysis is one alternative. Using space syntax, this study analyzes houses in Yang-dong village by not only defining attributes of individual houses, but also common attributes of houses in the village. Based on common attributes of houses in the village, the attributes of Yang-dong village houses can be re-defined within the social context. the results from a spatial-sociological analysis of upper class housing of the Yang-dong village are as follows; (1) Related to confucian ideas in Chosun Dynasty : A house has a dualistic center organized with 'an-chae' and 'sarang-chae'. 'an-chae' space is organized unsociably from outside. (2) Related to various space pattern of Yang-dong village House in the Chosun Dynasty period :As variations in the types of space pattern, the village house exhibit different attributes.

Considering the established research about the characteristics of traditional expression in a contemporary korean architecture, there are two critical problems. the one is that the extent of a case is limited to a public building and a large exhibition building. the other is that the angle of research focus on the viewpoint of specific a level. To settle these problems and supplement a established research, this study is to investigate and analyze the characteristics of popular traditional expression in small commercial buildings. In A viewpoint on the expansion of a case and a various angle, A small commercial buildings is selected as a case. because it is felt that the populace's taste vis-a-vis traditional expression. To investigate and analyze, A main analytic criterion is follows. 1) A expressional method on traditional architectural form 2) A expressional aspect by architectural element 3) A expressional aspect in architectural material 4) A expressional aspect in architectural structure. In consequence we can find out the following results in the process of analysis. 1) In expressional method on traditional architectural form, the traditional expression is represented as the imitation and transformation of a traditional folk house forms, and the embodiment of traditional image 2) In expressional aspect by architectural element, the traditional expression elements is mainly represented at a straw roof and a mud-plastered wall 3) the traditional expression material is mainly straw, timber, small wood boards and mud 4) In expressional aspect in architectural structure, the traditional expression is represented from the viewpoint of decorative expression.

이 논문은 학교컨설턴트의 전문성 향상을 위한 교육 프로그램 개발에 관한 것이다. 프로그램은 교수 체제 설계 모형에 근거하여, 목표 수립, 분석, 설계, 개발 단계를 거쳐 개발했다. 그라고 현직 초ㆍ중등 교원을 대상으로 하여 S대학교 중등교육연수원의 직무 연수로 실행, 평가되었다. 학교컨설팅이 교육개혁의 새로운 대안으로 교직사회에 자리 잡기 위해서는 실행의 주체가 되는 학교컨설턴트의 발굴과 양성이 필요하다. 본 논문에서 제시된 학교컨설턴트 교육 프로그램과 그 적용 결과에 대한 논의는 학교컨설턴트라는 새로운 역할에 대한 이론적ㆍ실제적 역량 함양의 기초가 될 것이다. This study was conducted for the purpose of developing educational program for enhancing school consultants' expertise. The program is developed based on ISD(Instructional System Design) model, through the process of goal setting, analysis, designing, and development. And the program was carried out and evaluated as a form of in-service training sponsored by S National University In-service Training Center for Secondary Education. In order for school consulting to be settled in teacher society as a new approach for educational reform, it is needed to find and train school consultants, the main body of implementation. The school consultant educational program developed in this study, and the discussion concerning the result of its application will be the basis in cultivating theoretical and practical competency for the new role-school consultants.

A magneto-rheological (MR) damper allows damping characteristics to be continuously controlled by electric signal, and is frequently applied to semi-active vehicle suspension. Hardware-in-the-loop simulation (HILS) of a road vehicle with MR dampers is crucial to overcome the limitations of actual road tests of the vehicle under various conditions. In this paper, an MR damper HILS system for a bus is introduced to evaluate the running performance of the bus before it actually goes into production. The proposed MR damper HILS system is composed of an National Instruments PXI device for implementing the running dynamics of the bus, an actual MR damper, a hydraulic servo system to drive the MR damper, a loadcell to detect the force acting on the MR damper, and a host computer. Motion dynamics and skyhook logic were realized using the Simulink program through Veristand. The validity of the MR damper HILS system was demonstrated experimentally for bump passing.

The purpose of this study was to find out a composition of the exterior space of upper-class residence in the mid Josun dynasty through Visual Perception. this study newly defines Visual Perception as the visual form and depth of exterior space, directional impulse. By the Visual perception method, The results of this study are as follows. (1) The Each of exterior space has a specific visual form depending on a spacial characteristic, and mainly has the spacial form of a V-shaped vertical plan and a L-shaped vertical plan. (2) The visual depth of exterior space is mainly shown through 'perspective effect' most residential space. However, in 'sarang-madang' and 'an-madang', the visual depth through 'frame effect' is appealed. (3) the directional impulse is mostly caused by 'the partial open of space' and door. the one caused by 'the composition of axis' is shown in most residential space.

The purpose of this study was to look at an architectural space objectively. To that end we made a spatial-sociological analysis. A space is generated in a society within a given social environment. The social environment arises from the context of a way of thinking that is shared by most members of the society. Therefore, we cannot understand the space thoroughly merely by considering the relationship between an architectural space and its social background without regard for the society's metaphysical context understand a space objectively, both the space and the social environment must be considered.
