Study on the Handling Qualities Enhancement of Fixed-wing Aircraft Using Adaptive Neural Network

This paper intends to propose the integrated design framework of a model-following controller (MFC) combined with both an adaptive neural network (ANN) and a linear observer to enhance the handling qualities (HQ) of a fixed-wing aircraft. To achieve this objective, the HQ requirements (HQRs) applicable to a light sports aircraft and the controller structure have been defined. And, the controller design parameters are optimized to meet HQRs using the CONDUITr. Thereby, the integrated design environment can determine the control gains and ANN’s tuning parameters in an optimum manner and the level of HQ achievable with the designed parameters can be automatically evaluated. The paper tries to clarify the effect of the ANN with the linear observer on the HQ enhancement. To achieve this, the control laws in the attitude command response types have been designed and their tracking performances are investigated with and without ANN elements to identify the improved HQ with the ANN. In addition, a series of comparative simulation studies on the effects of external disturbances on the attitude tracking performance are carried out to show the enhanced robustness with the proposed controller structure. The results show that the ANN control can dramatically improve the level of HQ and provide the favorable robustness to external disturbances. Therefore, the results of the present study can provide the efficient ways of the HQ enhancement by adopting the ANN in the conventional MFC structure and by designing the controller parameters with the integrated design processes of CONDUITr.

Security infrastructure of Educational Network responds to threats by collecting and analyzing security events from various information protection system based on the integrated management system. Even if this system provides useful and detailed information to the administrator, there are some problems that this system does not provide effective response process and management systems for various threatening situations and the simultaneous threat processes. To solve this problem, we propose and develop security agents that enable the administrator to effectively manage integrated security for Educational Network. The proposed solution provides the administrator with efficient management techniques and process scheduling for various security events so that the administrator can response promptly to problems with the initial threat to Educational Network. 교육망의 보안 인프라는 통합관리시스템을 기준으로 다양한 정보보호시스템의 보안 이벤트를 수집하고 분석을 통하여 위협을 관리하고 대응한다. 이러한 체계는 관리자에게 유용하고 자세한 정보를 제공하지만, 다양한 위협 상황과 동시 다발적인 위협에 대해서 효과적인 대응 프로세스와 관리체계를 제공하지 못하고 있는 문제점을 많이 가진 교육망에 대한 해결방안으로 관리자에게 다양하고 세부적인 정보 제공보다는 관리자가 초기 위협에 신속하게 대응할 수 있도록 관리기술과 다양한 보안 이벤트들의 처리 스케줄링을 통해서 통합보안관리가 가능하도록 보안 에이전트를 제안 개발하였다.

저칼륨혈증은 다양한 원인으로 나타날 수 있으나 amphoter-in B 외의 항생제와의 관련성은 잘 알려져 있지 않아 간과되기 쉽다. Nafcillin 투여 시 비록 가능성은 낮게 보고되고 있으나 장기간 고용량이 투여되는 환자에게서는 심각한 저칼륨혈증이 발생할 수 있으므로 임상의사들은 이를 숙지하여 칼륨 농도를 반드시 추적 관찰하고 조기에 교정해야 하겠다. Hypokalemia is a common finding in various clinical settings; it is associated with diuretic use and loss of potassium via the gastrointestinal tract. Less common causes are renal tubular acidosis, diabetic ketoacidosis, excess insulin, primary hyperaldosteronism, and medications, such as amphotericin B. Nafcillin, a narrow-spectrum penicillin class antibiotic, which is selectively prescribed for methicillin-susceptible Staphylococcal aureus infections, and is commonly associated with gastrointestinal side effects, such as nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. However, in rare cases it can cause hypokalemia, which is usually overlooked. Severe hypokalemia was detected in a 59-year-old male patient hospitalized due to traumatic cerebral hemorrhage who received 12 g of nafcillin per day for more than 2 weeks for sepsis caused by methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus epidermidis. We confirmed the association between nafcillin and hypokalemia through further evaluation and a review of the relevant literature. Clinicians should be aware of hypokalemia as a complication when using high doses of nafcillin. (Korean J Med 2021;96:139-142)

In this paper, we have studied on the flight path generation using polynomial and the flight path tracking control using guidance law, speed hold system, ACAH (Attitude Command Attitude Hold) system. The modeling section of the flight path is divided into five regions, and each region is modeled by a 7<SUP>th</SUP> order polynomial. The flight paths were defined as maneuver library. MTEs (Mission Task Elements) of aeronautical design standard (ADS)-33 have been used to construct the Maneuver library. The Line-of-Sight(LOS) method and classical control method were applied to design the guidance law, speed hold system, and ACAH system for tracking the flight path. Simulation was performed to show that it is possible to generate mission flight path by combining the maneuver libraries. Also, it is shown that the trajectory tracking control is possible. Therefore, since the results of this study enable the real-time trajectory generation and the tracking control, it will be useful to improve the probability of mission success and survivability of UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle).
