        古新羅·伽郁古墳의 編年에 關하여

        It is of the most importance for us to set up the chronicle of ancient mounds in figuring out the bui1ding period of Three Kingdoms(Silla, Paekch.e, and Kokoorye) tombs. The establishment of tomb chronicle is very indispensab1e in order to grasp and then examine close1y the period of the triangu1ar position of Three Kingdoms. F,ortunate1y, it is possib1e to set up the chronicle of ancient tombs, because Ho-u Tomb represents the clear time. In this treatise, 1 tried to set up the chronicle in the result of researohing the main excavated remains-the crowns, earings, gold bands, and knives-and refering to the chronicle of old Silla to mbs. Ⅰ. The Structure of Ancient Tombs in which Crowns were Found and Those Distributing Spots. The tombs of Old Silla are main1y distributed at Whangnam Dong, Kyo Dong, Rodong Dong, Rose Dong, Pomun Dong, and Whangoh Dong in the Capita1 City of Kyungchoo. The structure of tombs is called Cheksok Mokkwak Pun. The process is the following : The ob1ong grave was vertically dug and a wood case was put into the pit, and the coffin made of wood was 1a仗, and above the wood coffin stream stones were pi1e吐up , and then above stones soi1 was covered. There are two kinds of mound: one mound which contained more the two coffins, the other \vhich contained on1y one coffin. The tombs of Kaya are centra1ized round Rakdong River where Six Kayas ho1d those court,especially Da1sung, Koryung, Changyung, Sung- choo, Sunsan, Eusung, and Yangsan. The structure was classified into three kinds: Stone Case Mound of ertical Orifice Style, Stone Mound of Transversal Style, which belongs to Vertical Orifice, and Stone Mound of Transversal Orifice. Ⅱ. Crowns and Remains Necessary to Research of the Chronicle of Old Mounds. 1. Crowns. A crown consists of an exterior cap, an interior, and another. The forms to overlap the Chinese character (ill, which means a mountain) shape and the form to fix an antler were decorated at the ring of an exterior cap. In the fron t of an interior cap, a bird style and bird fea ther form was formed. The interior of ring, which is touched at head, was added to the cap of barks of birch or of gold silver. The Kaya crown is the same form as the Silla crowns which were originated from the former. 2. Re1ics Indispensable to Research of the Chronic1e of Old Mounds. There are many kinds of reamins. Among those e8rings, bands, and knives are representative works. The earings of Old Si11a and Kaya are together c1assified into three types-plain ring style, thin ring, and thick ring. The gold band, the decoration of leather belt, is formally divided into three kinds (a) plain links are added to the plate of Bochoo (heart form) style, (b) the plate is the form of trileaves, and (c) the oblong plate on which Tangcho letters were ingraved. Large knives are classified into the knife head which is plainly ring, which is formed as trileaves ring, which is three rings, and \yhich is figured as the semi-eIIiptic form. In Old Silla the knife head is de· corated with a single dragon, and with two dragons. Ⅲ. The Relation between the Chronicle of Old Tombs and Relics. 1. The Change of the Structure of Ancient Tombs and the Relation Between Crowns and Remains. In Old Silla the tomb pattern is changed as the following: from the tomb structure of a family grave to a couple with a side coffin, to only couple grave, and then a single coffin grave. Because the Stone Case Mound of Vertical Orifice Style is preceding to the Stone Mound of Transversal Style which belongs to Vertical Orifice, the changing process of crowns, earings, gold bands, and large knives is researched. on the basis of the 59th Mound and 1st Stone Coffin of the 37th Mound in Dalse Myn. 2. The Chronicle of Old Si1la and Kaya Tombs.

        대한민국 중부지역의 A형간염 항체양성률, 예방접종률 및 항체생성률

        Background/Aims: Acute hepatitis A (HAV) is markedly increasing recently on. Some patients with acute hepatitis A show evere clinical course. The seroprevalence rate of IgG anti-HAV has been changing with the regions and the times. Vaccination and seroconversion rate of HAV are not well known. In this study, we aimed to study the difference of seroprevalence rate of IgG anti-HAV according to various clinical factors and to know the vaccination rate and seroconversion rate below 10 years old in the central region of South Korea including Cheonan city. Methods: Seven hundred seventy two subjects were included in the study from January to September 2009. We analyzed seroprevalence rate of IgG anti-HAV according to sex, age, region, and other viral markers. We interviewed the history of vaccination(1st, 2nd) and analyzed seroconversion rate according to vaccination time below 10 years old. Results: The total seroprevalence rate of IgG anti-HAV was 65.3%. The seroprevalence rate of IgG anti-HAV rate in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th decade was very low (1.9%, 18.8%, 44.8%). The vaccination rate of children was about 50%. The seroconversion rate after 1st, and 2nd vaccination were 85%, 96%. Conclusions: Catch-up vaccination for teenagers and young adults is needed. Immunizing children with HAV vaccine as a routine schedule should be considered. (Korean J Gastroenterol 2011;57:166-172)

        마늘 추출물(Garlic Extract)의 첨가가 육계 생산성, 영양소 소화율, 도체 성상 및 계육 특성에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 마늘 추출물(GE)의 급여가 육계 생산성, 영양소 소화율, 도체 성상 및 계육 특성에 미치는 영향에 대해 조사하기 위하여 1일령 Hubbard 종 Broiler(체중 $44.72{\pm}1.76\;g$) 1,200수를 공시하여 3처리 4반복, 반복당 100수씩 완전 임의 배치하였다. 3개의 처리구는 각각 대조구, 마늘 추출물 (GE) 100 ppm, 200 ppm 첨가구로 나누어, 육계 전기(0~3주)와 육계 후기(4~5주) 총 5주 동안 사양 시험을 진행하였다. 마늘 추출물(GE) 100 ppm과 200 ppm을 사료에 첨가하여 실험한 결과 증체량과 사료 섭취량에서는 GE 100 ppm 첨가구가 대조구에 비해 높게 나타났지만 통계적 유의성은 인증되지 않았다(p>0.05). 후기의 사료 요구율은 GE 100 ppm 첨가구가 대조구에 비해 개선되었다(p<0.05). 영양소 소화율에서는 GE 100 ppm 첨가구와 GE 200 ppm 첨가구의 건물 소화율이 대조구에 비해 개선되었다(p<0.05). 산패도는 계육의 보존 기간을 늘려주는 주요한 요소인데, 마늘 추출물 급여시 계육의 산패도가 저장 8일과 12일차에 대조구에 비해 유의적으로 낮게 나타났다(p<0.05). 육색 측정에서는 가슴살의 명도, 적색도와 황색도를 조사하였는데, 명도에서 GE 200 ppm 첨가구가 대조구에 비해 높게 나타났다(p<0.05). 본 실험의 결과 육계 사료 내 GE의 첨가는 육계의 생산성에는 영향을 미치지 못한 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 계육의 보존 기간을 늘려주는 주요한 요소인 산패도와 소비자들의 기호성을 높여주는 육색(명도)을 개선시킨 것으로 볼 때 육계 사료 내 GE의 첨가는 계육의 육질 개선에 효과가 있는 것으로 판단된다. The objective of the current study was to evaluate the effects of garlic extract (GE) supplementation on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, carcass characteristics and meat composition in broilers. Dietary treatment were control (corn-soy based diet, 0 ppm), and diets added with 100 or 200 ppm GE. Starter and finisher diets were fed from 0 to 3 wk and 4 to 5 wk, respectively. Supplementation of GE had no effect on weight gain, but there was trend towards improvement in growth rate in birds fed diets containing 100 ppm GE during overall period, while birds fed 100 ppm GE had better feed efficiency (p<0.05) than birds fed control diet during finisher period. Birds fed GE had greater (p<0.05) nutrient digestibility of dry matter than birds fed control diet. The TBARS values of breast muscle obtained from birds fed 100 and 200 ppm GE were lower than breast muscle of control birds on day 8 and 12 of storage. The breast muscle of birds fed 200 ppm GE had higher (p<0.05) $L^*$ values than breast muscle of birds fed control and 100 ppm GE diets. The carcass characteristics, meat and bone composition, CIE $a^*$ and $b^*$ values did not differ among the dietary treatments. In conclusion, supplementation of GE enhanced feed efficiency and nutrient digestibility in broilers.

        폐상피세포에서 Triptolide에 의한 NF-${\kappa}B$ 의존성 IL-8 유전자 전사활성 억제기전

        연구배경 : 폐상피세포가 능동적으로 IL-8을 분비한다는 것은 주지의 사실이다. NF-${\kappa}B$는 IL-8 발현 조절에 있어서 가장 중요한 역할을 담당하는 전사인자이다. Triptolide는 최근 밝혀진 NF-${\kappa}B$ 억제제로서 중국한약제인 뇌공등 (Tripterygium Wilfordii)에서 추출된약제이다. 연자들은 새로운 NF-${\kappa}B$ 억제제인 triptolide가 폐상피세포에서 NF-${\kappa}B$ 의존성 IL-8 유전자의triptolide가 염증성 폐질환에서 새로운 치료제로서의 가능성을 확인하기 위하여 본 연구를 시행하였다. 방법 : 폐상피세포로서 A549 사용하였고 triptolide는 미국의 Pharamagenesis(Palo Alto, CA)사로부터 제공받았다. NF-${\kappa}B$ 활성유도물질로는 IL-$1{\beta}$(R&D)와 PMA(Sigma)를 이용하였다. IL-8 유전자의 발현은 RT-PCR과 ELISA를 이용하여 측정 하였다. NF-${\kappa}B$의존성 IL-8 유전자의 전사활성을 평가하기 위하여는 IL-8 NF-${\kappa}B$ luciferase construct를 안정적으로 유전자주입한 A549 IL-8 NF-${\kappa}B$ luciferase 세포주를 제조해 사용하였고 NF-${\kappa}B$ DNA 결합은 electromobility shift assay(EMSA)를 이용하였다. p65 전사활성을 assay하기 위해서는 Gal4-p65 fusion protein expression system을 유전자주입과 luciferase assay를 통하여 시행하였다. Transcriptional coactivator의 역할을 규명 하가 위하여서는 CBP(CREB-binding protein)와 SRC-1(steroid receptor coactivator-1) 발현 벡터를 유전자 주입하고 luciferase assay를 이용하여 확인하였다. 결과 : Luciferase assay로 triptolide가 PMA와 IL-$1{\beta}$자극에 의한 IL-8 NF-${\kappa}B$ 활성을 의미있게 감소시킴을 확인하였다. IL-8 ELISA와 RT-PCR로 triptolide가 PMA와 IL-$1{\beta}$ 자극에 의해 유도되는 IL-8 발현을 각각 단백질과 mRNA 수준에서 억제함을 관찰하였다. Triptolide가 PMA와 IL-$1{\beta}$에 의한 IL-8 NF-${\kappa}B$의 전사활성을 억제시킨 반면 EMSA와 $I{\kappa}B{\alpha}$ Western blot을 이용한 실험에서는 triptolide가 NF-${\kappa}B$ DNA 결합과 $I{\kappa}B{\alpha}$의 분해에 전혀 영향을 미치지 못함을 확인하였다. 이러한 전사활성 억제와 DNA 결합 간의 불일치의 원인으로서는 DNA 결합 이후에 발생하는 핵내 에서의 transactivation에 triptolide가 영향을 미치리라고 생각되어 p65 transactivation study를 Gal4-p65T A(p65의 transactivation domain) fusion protein 발현 시스템과 luciferase assay를 이용하여 시행한 결과 triptolide가 p65 transactivation을 억제함으로써 NF-${\kappa}B$를 억제함을 확인하였다. 그러나 CBP나 SRC-1과 같은 coactivator의 역할을 규명하기 위한 유전자주입 실험에서 triptolide에 의한 p65 transactivation 억제에 대해 CBP나 SRC-1의 과발현이 별다른 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 결론 : Triptolide는 폐상피세포에서 NF-${\kappa}B$ 의존성 IL-8 유전자의 전사활성을 억제하고 그 기전은 $I{\kappa}B{\alpha}$ 경로가 아닌 핵내에서의 p65 transactivation 억제에 의해 발생하며 이에는 CBP나 SRC-1과 같은 coactivator가 관여하지 않음을 확인하였다. Background : NF-${\kappa}B$ is the most important transcriptional factor in IL-8 gene expression. Triptolide is a new compound that recently has been shown to inhibit NF-${\kappa}B$ activation. The purpose of this study is to investigate how triptolide inhibits NF-${\kappa}B$-dependent IL-8 gene transcription in lung epithelial cells and to pilot the potential for the clinical application of triptolide in inflammatory lung diseases. Methods : A549 cells were used and triptolide was provided from Pharmagenesis Company (Palo Alto, CA). In order to examine NF-${\kappa}B$-dependent IL-8 transcriptional activity, we established stable A549 IL-8-NF-${\kappa}B$-luc. cells and performed luciferase assays. IL-8 gene expression was measured by RT-PCR and ELISA. A Western blot was done for the study of $I{\kappa}B{\alpha}$ degradation and an electromobility shift assay was done to analyze NF-${\kappa}B$ DNA binding. p65 specific transactivation was analyzed by a cotransfection study using a Gal4-p65 fusion protein expression system. To investigate the involvement of transcriptional coactivators, we perfomed a transfection study with CBP and SRC-1 expression vectors. Results : We observed that triptolide significantly suppresses NF-${\kappa}B$-dependent IL-8 transcriptional activity induced by IL-$1{\beta}$ and PMA. RT-PCR showed that triptolide represses both IL-$1{\beta}$ and PMA-induced IL-8 mRNA expression and ELISA confirmed this triptolide-mediated IL-8 suppression at the protein level. However, triptolide did not affect $I{\kappa}B{\alpha}$ degradation and NF-$_{\kappa}B$ DNA binding. In a p65-specific transactivation study, triptolide significantly suppressed Gal4-p65T Al and Gal4-p65T A2 activity suggesting that triptolide inhibits NF-${\kappa}B$ activation by inhibiting p65 transactivation. However, this triptolide-mediated inhibition of p65 transactivation was not rescued by the overexpression of CBP or SRC-1, thereby excluding the role of transcriptional coactivators. Conclusions : Triptolide is a new compound that inhibits NF-${\kappa}B$-dependent IL-8 transcriptional activation by inhibiting p65 transactivation, but not by an $I{\kappa}B{\alpha}$-dependent mechanism. This suggests that triptolide may have a therapeutic potential for inflammatory lung diseases.

        거대한 간내 혈종을 주소로 내원한 간세포암종 환자

        Spontaneous intrahepatic bleeding is a rare condition. In the absence of trauma, intrahepatic hematoma may be due to underlying liver disease. We report a case of hepatocellular carcinoma in the patient who had huge intrahepatic hematoma without definite intrahepatic tumor at the time of initial presentation. A 54-year-old man was admitted to our hospital with a sudden onset of upper abdominal pain. Initial abdominal CT scan showed huge hematoma measuring more than 13 cm in diameter in the right lobe of the liver. However, there was no enhancing lesion in the liver. Laboratory data showed high alanine aminotransferase, alpha-fetoprotein and positive HBsAg. The MRI and angiography could not also depict any mass in the liver. The patient was treated with percutaneous drainage on the intrahepatic hematoma. The cytology from drainaged blood revealed no malignant cell. After hematoma decreased, follow-up CT scan depicted an enhancing tumor in the liver. He underwent right hepatic lobectomy and histopathological examination showed hepatocellular carcinoma.
