The crystal structures of fully dehydrated $Pd^{2+}$ - and $TI^{+}$ -exchanged zeolite X, $Pd_{18}TI_{56}Si_{100}Al_{92}O_{384}(Pd_{18}TI_{50-}X$, a = $24.935(4)\AA$ and $Pd_{21}TI_{50}Si_{100}Al_{92}O_{384}(Pd_{21}TI_{50-}X$ a = $24.914(4)\AA)$, have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods in the cubic space group Fd3 at $21(1)^{\circ}C.$ The crystals were prepared using an exchange solution that had a $Pd(NH_3)_4Cl_2\;:TINO_3$ mole ratio of 50 : 1 and 200 : 1, respectively, with a total concentration of 0.05M for 4 days. After dehydration at $360^{\circ}C$ and 2 ${\times}$$10^{-6}$ Torr in flowing oxygen for 2 days, the crystals were evacuated at $21(1)^{\circ}C$ for 2 hours. They were refined to the final error indices $R_1$ = 0.045 and $R_2$ = 0.038 with 344 reflections for $Pd_{18}Tl_{56-}X$, and $R_1$ = 0.043 and $R_2$ = 0.045 with 280 reflections for $Pd_{21}Tl_{50-}X$; I > $3\sigma(I).$ In the structure of dehydrated $Pd_{18}Tl_{56-}X$, eighteen $Pd^{2+}$ ions and fourteen $TI^{+}$ ions are located at site I'. About twenty-seven $TI^{+}$ ions occupy site II recessed $1.74\AA$ into a supercage from the plane of three oxygens. The remaining fifteen $TI^{+}$ ions are distributed over two non-equivalent III' sites, with occupancies of 11 and 4, respectively. In the structure of $Pd_{21}Tl_{50-}X$, twenty $Pd^{2+}$ and ten $TI^{+}$ ions occupy site I', and one $Pd^{2+}$ ion is at site I. About twenty-three $TI^{+}$ ions occupy site II, and the remaining seventeen $TI^{+}$ ions are distributed over two different III' sites. $Pd^{2+}$ ions show a limit of exchange (ca. 39% and 46%), though their concentration of exchange was much higher than that of $TI^{+}$ ions. $Pd^{2+}$ ions tend to occupy site I', where they fit the double six-ring plane as nearly ideal trigonal planar. $TI^{+}$ ions fill the remaining I' sites, then occupy site II and two different III' sites. The two crystal structures show that approximately two and one-half I' sites per sodalite cage may be occupied by $Pd^{2+}$ ions. The remaining I' sites are occupied by $TI^{+}$ ions with Tl-O bond distance that is shorter than the sum of their ionic radii. The electrostatic repulsion between two large $TI^{+}$ ions and between $TI^{+}$ and $Pd^{2+}$ ions in the same $\beta-cage$ pushes each other to the charged six-ring planes. It causes the Tl-O bond to have some covalent character. However, $TI^{+}$ ions at site II form ionic bonds with three oxygens because the super-cage has the available space to obtain the reliable ionic bonds.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing the Radiation Protection(RP) behaviors of endoscopy nurses during endoscopic interventional radiology. Methods: A total of 188 endoscopy nurses working at 30 tertiary or general hospitals participated in this questionnaire-based study. The questionnaire included items on general and job related characteristics, RP knowledge, RP attitude, RP behavior, self-efficacy, and safety climate. Data were collected through online surveys from March 22 to April 10, 2019. Results: Multivariate analysis revealed that RP attitude (β=.65, p<.001), safety climate (β=.12, p=.035), self-efficacy (β=.14, p=.009), and existence of RP protocols (β=.11, p=.038) were significant predictors of better RP behavior. Conclusion: The findings showed that the RP behavior of endoscopy nurses was at high levels and the continuing education for endoscopy nurses and development of a radiation safety management education program were important to improve RP behavior.

This paper presents a new jetting dispenser driven by a piezoelectric actuator at high operating frequency to provide very small dispensing dot size of adhesive in modern semiconductor packaging processes. After describing the mechanism and operational principle of the dispenser, a mathematical model of the structured system is derived by considering behavior of each component such as piezostack and dispensing needle. In the fluid modeling, a lumped parameter method is applied to model the adhesive whose rheological property is expressed by Bingham model. The governing equations are then derived by integrating the structural model with the fluid model. Based on the proposed model, dispensing performances such as dispensing amount are investigated with respect to various input trajectories.

Objective: To investigate the clinical, laboratory, radiologic characteristics, and joint involvement of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in Korean. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed initial medical records of 210 patients diagnosed as rheumatoid arthritis in Seoul, Sanggye, and Ilsan Paik Hospital, Inje University. Evaluation included age, sex, disease duration, duration of morning stiffness, joint involvement, the number of tender and swollen joints, rheumatoid factor, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), C-reactive protein (CRP), and bony erosion in simple X-ray. Results: In total 210 patients, mean age was 50.1±13.5 years, and male to female ratio was 1 to 5.6. Mean duration of arthritis was 51.8±72.6 months and positive rate of rheumatoid factor was 66.7%. Mean time interval between symptom onset and first visit was 14.1±19.1 months. Bony erosion rate was 15.3% in early RA patients, who had been diagnosed as RA within 1 year. The order of frequency of joint involvement was as the follows; metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joints, wrist joints, proximal interphalangeal (PIP) joints, metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joints, ankle joints, and knee joints. It was noted that the joints on the right and left sides behaved in like fashion. This pattern was not different with early RA. The titer of rheumatoid factor showed poor correlations with variables of clinical activity (ESR, CRP, duration of morning stiffness, and number of tender and swollen joints). Conclusion: In Korea, clinical manifestations and joint involvement of RA patients were not different from other published studies. The most commonly involved joints are MCP joints, wrist joints, PIP joints, and MTP joints.

Renal manifestations of systemic sclerosis are proteinuria, hypertension, azotemia and renal crisis. Mild proteinuria is common, but the nephrotic syndrome occurring in association with systemic sclerosis has been rarely reported. The majority of nephrotic syndrome cases are caused by glomerulonephritis in patients with an overlap syndrome of SLE and systemic sclerosis. This report suggests that the nephrotic syndrome can be an infrequent sequel of systemic sclerosis alone without glomerulopathy. A 38-year old woman was suffering from visual loss and headaches. She had Raynaud`s phenomenon and thickened skin on nearly whole body. Urine protein was 4,950 mg/day and serum albumin level was 2.7 g/dL. The result of renal biopsy was renovasculopathy-compatible with systemic sclerosis.

B cells play an important role in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). High levels of B cell activating factor (BAFF) are detected in autoimmune diseases. BAFF and BAFF receptor (BAFF-R) are expressed in B and T cells of RA synovium. The study was undertaken to identify the NF-κB signal pathway involved in the induction of BAFF-R in human B cells. Immunohistochemical staining of NF-κB p65, NF-κB p50, BAFF, and BAFF-R was performed on sections of synovium from severe and mild RA and osteoarthritis (OA) patients. Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were isolated from control and RA patients and B cells were isolated from controls. BAFF-R was analyzed by flow cytometry, realtime PCR and confocal staining after treatment with NF-κB inhibitors. NF-κB p65, NF-κB p50, BAFF, and BAFF-R were highly expressed in severe RA synovium relative to mild RA synovium or OA synovium. BAFF-R expression was reduced by NF-κB inhibitors in PBMCs and B cells from normal controls. We also showed reduction in expression of BAFF-R via inhibition of the NF-κB pathway in PBMCs of RA patients. BAFF/BAFF-R signaling is an important mechanism of pathogenesis in RA and that BAFF-R reduction by NF-κB blocking therapy is another choice for controlling B cells in autoimmune diseases such as RA.

The crystal structures of fully dehydrated Ni2+- and Tl+ -exchanged zeolite X (Ni17Tl58-X, and Ni12Tl68-X; X=Si100Al92O384) have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction techniques in the cubic space group Fd3 at $21(1)^{\circ}C$ (a=24.380(4) $\AA$, 24.660(4) $\AA$, respectively). Their structures have been refined to the final error indices R1=0.037 and R2=0.043 with 485 reflections, and R1=0.039 and R2=0.040 with 306 reflections, respectively, for which I >36(I). In Ni17Tl58-X, 17 Ni2+ ions per unit cell were found at only two sites: 15 at site I at the center of the hexagonal prism (Ni-O=2.203(9) $\AA)$ and the remaining 2 at site II near single six-oxygen rings in the supercage (Ni-O=2.16(3) $\AA).$ Fifty-eight Tl+ ions were found at five crystallographic sites: 28 at site II (Tl-O=2.626(8) $\AA)$, 2 at site I' in the sodalite cavity near the hexagonal prism (Tl-O=2.85(1) $\AA)$, another 2 at site II' in the sodalite cavity (Tl-O=2.77(1) $\AA).$ The remaining 26 were found at two nonequivalent Ⅲ' sites with occupancies of 23 and 3. In Ni12Tl68-X, 12 Ni2+ ions per unit cell were found at two sites: 10 at site I (Ni-O=2.37(2) $\AA)$ and the remaining 2 at site II (Ni-O=2.13(2) $\AA).$ Sixty-eight Tl+ ions were found at five crystallographic sites: 28 at site II (Tl-O=2.63(1) $\AA)$, 12 at site I' (Tl-O=2.62(1) $\AA)$, 2 at site II' (Tl-O=3.01(2) $\AA)$, and the remaining 26 at two III' sites with occupancies of 23 and 3. It appears that Ni 2+ ions prefer to occupy site I and II, in that order. The large Tl+ ions occupy the remaining sites, I', II, II' and two different III' sites. In both crystals, only the Ni2+ ions at site II were reduced and migrated to the external surface of zeolite X when these crystals were treated with hydrogen gas.
