        The purpose of this study was to detemine toe correlation between the awareness and the status of their won oral diseases. A questionnaire survey form was desinged to determine the awareness of their won oral diseases and asked aoo of the university freshmen students to fill out the al of questionaries. They were then immediately examined for을 새 determine their status of dental hard tissures by using the WHO criteria. Also determined were the CPITN and the needs for orthodontic as well as prosthodontic treatments. The results were then statistically analyzed to determine the correlation coefficiencies between the awareness and the status of oral diseases by using SPSS statistical package. The results suggested the followings; 1. The correlation coefficiencies between the awareness and the status for number of teeth decayed, missed, and indicated for extractions were 0.18, 0.06 and 0.09 respectively. 2. The correlationg coefficiency between the awareness and the status in treated teeth(F component) and CPITN were 0.622 and 0.10 respectively. 3. The agreement between examiners and examiners on the needs for prosthodontic treatments was 87.31% and their sensitivity and specificity were 47.54% and 88.55% respectively. 4. The agreement between examiners and examinees on the needs for orthodontic treatment was 70.40% and their sensitivity and specificity were 77.27% and 69.71% respectively. Data indicate that a majority of respondents are lacking in the awareness of their own oral disease status. Therefore, it is concluded that a regular oral examination, a regular counselling on oral health status as well as specific oral health education for each individual warranted.

        구강안면통증클리닉에 처음 내원한 턱관절장애 환자들의 내원 목표

        Understanding patients' expectation for health visits and providing appropriate care may increase patients' satisfaction with health care, leading to more positive treatment outcome. The study aimed to investigate expectations of the patients with temporomandibular disorders (TMD) at their first visit to university-based orofacial pain clinic and to evaluate any relation with duration of pain, presence of previous treatment, pain severity and pain interference. Inclusion criterion was patients aged over and 18 years old and diagnosed as TMD during 3 months' period from Aug to Nov 2010. They were asked to complete the questionnaires for patients' expectation and the Brief Pain Inventory (BPI) at waiting room prior to consultation. 322 TMD patients participated in the study(M:F=1:1.5, mean age=36 years old). The study indicated that the most important top 3 expectations were 'cure of pain', 'understanding their problem' and 'doctor-patient communication' in order. This finding was not affected by gender, duration and previous treatment history but affected by sub-category of TMD and BPI pain severity and pain interference. 'Pain relief' and 'understanding their problems' were relatively highlighted in the patients with muscle disorders and combination (joint-muscle) disorders of TMD than those with joint disorders who wanted communication and further investigation relatively more (p=0.000). While expectation for pain relief was expected more with increase of pain severity and interference, patients with mild level of pain severity and interference expected communication and further investigation relatively more (p=0.000, 0.017, respectively). Based on the results of the study, though pain relief was the primary concern for TMD patients suffering from pain, their satisfaction with care may be increased by explanation for etiology and mechanism of TMD to make them understand their problems better and doctor-patient communication and collaborative decision-making for treatment. Importance of patient-centered consultations and availability of written material or web sites for patient information should be stressed out.

        IoT 기반 교통안전시설 현장관리 체계 연구

        In order to trust and use autonomous vehicles, safe driving on the road must be guaranteed. For this, the first infrastructure to be equipped with autonomous driving is traffic safety facility. On the other hand, autonomous vehicles(Level 3) and general vehicles are driving on the road, it is necessary to additionally manage existing general traffic safety facilities. In this study, a field management system for traffic safety facilities based on autonomous driving infrastructure was studied, and a pilot field management system was implemented in the demonstration area(Pangyo). The pilot system consists of a GNSS(Global Navigation Satellite System) receiver, a field management equipment, and a field management app. As a result of field demonstration,, it was confirmed that traffic safety facility information was easily transmitted and received even in downtown areas and that could be efficiently operated and managed. It is expected that the results of this study will be used as reference materials for the spread of autonomous driving infrastructure to local governments and infrastructure construction in the future.

      • 쌍곡선 근사에 의한 현장타설말뚝의 항복하중 판정

        본 연구에서는 일반 토사층에 선단지지된 현장타설말뚝의 재하시험결과로부터 얻은 하중-침하 량곡선을 쌍곡선으로 회귀분석하고 여기에 곡률방정식을 이용하여 최대곡률을 나타내는 하중을 항복하중으로 규정하는 판정법을 개발하였다. 그러나 하중과 침하량의 단위 또는 축척에 따라 최대곡률점의 위치가 변하고 따라서 항복하중도 다르게 판별된다(원상연, 1995). 따라서 하중과 침하량을 정규화(normalization)하고 정규화된 침하량(x축)과 하중축(y축)의 축척이 1:1이 되도록 함으로써 하중과 침하량의 단위와 축척에 상관없이 유일한 최대곡률점을 찾을 수 있었다. 본 논문에서 기존의 판정 법들을 이용하여 각각의 항복하중을 구하고 이들의 평균값을 기준으로 하여 정규화 과정을 검토하였다. 이 판정법을 현장타설말뚝에 대한 연직재하시험결과에 적용하여 연직항복하중을 판정하고, 이 결과를 기존의 판정 법들에 의한 항복하중과의 비교를 실시하였다. This study develops a new method for interpreting the yield load from load tests on drilled shaft foundations ended on general soils, which is defined as a point where the maximum curvature on the hyperbolic-approximated load-settlement curve occurs. How ever, the point of maximum curvature is a variable depending on the units and scales of the load and settlement. Therefore, to obtain a unique maximum curvature point, both the load and settlement must be normalized by proper parameters, respectively, and be expressed on the same scaled arses(1:1). Normalization has been processed so that the yield load by the new interpretation is to be close to the average of yield loads interpreted by other methods investigated in this study. The quantitative comparison between the new criterion and other conventitonal methods is presented.

      • 수소 혼합에 따른 CNG 엔진 특성에 관한 연구

        These day, in recent natural gas engine designs, blending hydrogen with compressed natural gas is considered. The mixture of CNG and hydrogen is named HCNG. Hydrogen allows leaner air-fuel ratio and retarded spark timing. These can reduce NOx considerably without use of exhaust after-treatment equipment. Hydrogen enrichment could significantly extend the lean operation limit and decrease burn duration. However, NOx emissions were increased with hydrogen addition at a certain air-fuel ratio due to hydrogen’s fast burn speed. Also hydrogen addition leads to a higher combustion temperature at a constant spark timing. If spark timing was optimized to MBT, the advantage of hydrogen’s high burn speedcan be taken without obvious increase in NOx emissions while the hydrogen fraction increases. In this study, the experiment were carried out to compare with CNG and H₂ fractions 30% of HCNG blends in aspect of the engine performances. The retarded spark timing was evaluated with HCNG at higher air-fuel ratios and. The results indicated that the NOx, THC, CO, CO₂ and CH₄ emissions were reduced with catalyst.

      • 수소-천연가스 혼소 엔진 개발에 관한 연구

        A turbocharged lean burn natural gas engine was upgraded to operate on a blend oh hydrogen and natural gas (HCNG). Lean burn is widely accepted as an effective approach to simultaneously improve spark ignition engine"s thermal efficiency and decrease NOx and CO₂ emissions. In this study, the experiment showed that hydrogen enrichment could significantly extend the lean operation limit, so it was found to improve the engine"s lean burn ability and CNG blend for H₂ fractions between 0 ~ 40 vol% then compare the HCNG with CNG engine performances. The HCNG calibration included operation at higher air-fuel ratios and retarded spark timing. The results indicated that the NOx, THC, CO and CO₂ emissions were reduced. It consider that hydrogen was increased due to fast burning speed and low exhaust gas temperature. The efficiency for HCNG is greater than CNG for the same λ value, and the difference in efficiency, between HCNG and CNG for the same λ increses with increasing excess air ratio.
