Water samples were collected in the Minami-Asakawa River in Tokyo. Mean daily loading and budgets of some bioelements, such as carbon, nitrongen and phosphorus, were estimated. Suspended matter(75%), organic carbons(60%) and ammoium(59%) appeared to be removed by self-purification processes. On the other hand, nitrate, nitrite and chlorophyll a, which were considered to be produced in situ, increased with the river flow. The urban river is not only a transportation channel of bioelements but also a place for their metabolism.

We investigated the ionic characterics and components of KyungGi-Do,YongIn area for evaluation of acidrain precipitation during 1995.6-1996.6. Rain precipitations of this area were not yet acidic condition. But, rain precipitations must be changed to more acidic conditions after the constructions finished, residents were occupied and fuel consumption increased. Thus, We think that the proper counterplans must be proposed.

The purpose of this work was to document the conditions regarding organic solvent exposure to the workers in paint industry. Air concentrations of organic solvents were measured by passive personal samplers and analyzed by a gas chromatography. Urine samples for hippuric test were also taken from 330 workers who have worked at seven domestic factories for more than two years. Amongst 25 organic elements detected in the indoor environment of working places, toluene was the most common element, and methanol showed the highest mean concentration(18.2ppm). A few elements including methylethyl ketone and toluene partially exceeded the Korean Permissible Exposure Limit. A lack of environmental facilities such as exhaust ventilation, automatic cleaning system, and personal safety devices at present work plaus brings about various occupational diseases.

Recently, the concern about groundwater pollution is increasing. And, groundwater was one of the major water resource used as drinking water by eighty percent of the world population, and its utility as industry water, agriculture water, fresh water was increasing. But, when pollution material was found in housing well, by purifying polluted water, the area of doing thorough conservation management was few. Thus, if water resource being regard as unlimited source, the right view of nature and scientific utility were essential because of the problem of its value. The purpose of this study was that investigated groundwater quality pollution condition in the part areas of Kyunggi-do Suwon Si, Yong-In Si, proposed to efficient management plan for pollution occurrence prevention and groundwater quality development by surveying groundwater pollution source. The result of the study was that the groundwater by use purpose could systematically manage water quality since development beginning, management system about groundwater development with use can established.

유성기어는 부피 대비 높은 동력전달 밀도, 다양한 속도비 구현의 장점을 가지고 있는 반면 자동변속기 내의 유성기어는 구조적 특성상 내접과 외접이 동시에 맞물리면서 치접촉 상태 및 위치가 서로 간에 다르고 위상차가 존재하기 때문에 하중이 집중적으로 작용하여 차량에서 소음 문제를 유발시키는 것으로 알려져 있다. 또한, 동시에 높아지는 고객의 소음요구 수준을 만족시키기 위해 많은 제조사들은 초기 컨셉단계부터 유성기어 소음에 강건한 설계구조를 가지기 위한 많은 연구를 수행해 왔음에도 불구하고 자동변속기의 레이아웃 제약 특성과 유성기어 생산공정 중의 품질문제로 여전히 소음 문제가 발생하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 글로벌 OEM 사 준중형 세단에 탑재되는 전륜 8속 자동변속기 소음개발 과정 중 차량에서 유성기어 소음이 발생하여 이를 구조적인 설계 변경없이 정적 전달오차 해석과 시험적 검증을 통해 이를 개선하는 방안에 대해 기술하였다. The planetary gear in the automatic transmission has the advantage of high power transmission density and various speed ratios. However, owing to its structural characteristics, the inner and outer of the planetary gear are contacted simultaneously, and the load is concentrated to cause noise problems in the vehicle. In addition, many manufacturers have conducted many studies to obtain a design structure that is robust to planetary gear noise, since the initial concept stage. However, noise problems still arise owing to the layout constraints of automatic transmissions and quality problems during the planetary gear production process. This study investigated the way to improve planetary gear noise in vehicles during the noise development process of the front-wheel eight-speed automatic transmission mounted on global OEM subcompact sedans through static transmission error analysis and verification without structural design changes.

Water samples were collected every one hour during July 23-24 1987 from the Minami-Asakawa River and sewage effluents into it. Mearldaily loading and budgets of some bioelements, such as carbon, nitrongen and phosphorrs, were estimated. the fluxeds of suspended matter, organic carbons and ammoioum appeared to remove by self-purification pocesses. On the other hand, those of nitrate, nitrite and chlorophyll a, which were considered to be produced in situ, increased with the river flow. From these results, it was suggested that the river is not only the place for transportation of bioelements but also that for their metabolism.
