In order to predict the water vapor condensation characteristics which occurs on the inside of the automobile headlamp lens, the CFD analysis was used in this study. Water vapor condensation on the inside surface of the head lamp lens is an essential factor that affects secure front view and headlamp life. One of the headlamps of automobile which is one of the most popular in Korea was chosen for the present analysis. In the basis of the experimental data of automobile given by a manufacturer, boundary conditions were defined and free convection of the air inside the headlamp and radiation from the bulb to the other surfaces are considered. As a result, temperature distribution of the inside surface of the headlamp lens are approximately the same as the experimental result.

This study focus on verification of the thermal efficiency of volumetric receiver with 5㎾th Dish-type solar thermal system. Spiral flow path shaped on receiver and working fluid(steam) flow along the this flow path. Porous material for radiation-thermal conversion used in former researches are substituted with the stainless steel wall installed along the spiral shaped flow path. Numerical analysis for the flow path and temperature distributions are carried out. Numerical results are compared with experimental data. Using the numerical model, the heat transfer characteristics of spiral type receiver for dish-type solar thermal systems are known and the thermal performance of the receiver can be estimated.

LED has the merits of high reliability, semi-permanent life, rapid-response and its small size for use as light source of head lamp. But the dependence of its performance and life on temperature affect on its practical use. Which dependence makes problem when the LED is heated up to a higher temperature level by self-generation of heat, due to “highly integration” to get enough quantity of light. To solve this problem, effective cooling system is needed that consider conduction, convection and radiation. This study points out the limits of natural convection cooling system and propose of forced convection with heat sink. Also, it describes a correlation between heat sink area and fluid velocity using numerical analysis to optimize the cooling system.

A numerical and experimental studies are carried out to investigate the transient heat transfer characteristics of 5㎾th dish-type solar air receiver. Measured solar radiation and temperatures at several different locations are used as boundary conditions for numerical simulation. Many parameters' effects (reflectivity of the reflector, the thermal conductivity of the receiver body, transmissivity of the quartz window, etc.) on the thermal performance are investigated. Discrete Transfer Method is used to calculate the radiation heat exchange in the receiver. A transient heat transfer model is developed and the rate of radiation, convection and conduction heat transfer are calculated. Comparing the experimental and numerical results, good agreement is obtained. Using the numerical model, the transient heat transfer characteristics of volumetric air receiver for dish-type solar thermal systems are known and the transient thermal performance of the receiver can be estimated.

In this study, chemical reactor was designed to be used for operating with dish type solar thermal system. Scaled-up device, performance verified on hydrogen production in laboratory scale experiment, was tested by dish type solar thermal system in field. In the result, various conditions of experiment device and chemical reactor were studied for system operating in the field to cycle repetition. Lab scale ferrite-conversion rate were 24~76%. 5-times sequential 2-step water splitting cycles were performed in this experiment. Ferrite-conversion rate were formed from 4.49 to 29.97% and hydrogen production rate were formed from 0.19 to 1.54 mmol/g-ferrite.

The two-step water splitting thermochemical cycle is composed of the T-R (Thermal Reduction) and W-D (Water Decomposition) steps. The reaction temperature necessary for this thermochemical cycle can be achieved by a dish-type solar thermal collector. The purpose of this study is to validate a water splitting device in the field. The validation results show that the foam device, when loaded with NiFe2O4/m-ZrO2 powder, was successfully achieved hydrogen production with 9 repeated cycles under field conditions. Two foam device used in this study were tested for validation before an experiment was performed. The lab scale ferrite-conversion rate was in the range of 24~76%. Two foam devices were designed to for structural stability in this study. In the results of the experiments, the hydrogen percentage of the weight of each foam device was 6.145 and 6.228 NL/(kg·h) on average, and the conversion rates 4.49~29.97 and 2.55~58.83%, respectively.

Purpose: Sexuality is a fundamental element of human life and is closely related to mental health. This study was conducted to understand domestic research trends on gender, mental health, and psychological well-being through an integrated review. Methods: Through four domestic databases, 15 papers were finally selected using the search terms 'sex', 'mental health', and 'psychological well-being'. Results: Fifteen papers have been published since 2000 and 10 documents have been published since 2010. A majority of the studies were basic research and reviews, and these included four qualitative studies. Depending on the subject, we classified five articles into three themes by the developmental stages (youth, married women, and the elderly), eight sexual minority studies, and two other studies (right to sexual self-determination, and dating for people with disabilities). Conclusion: A more open social concern and approach to sex, the most basic human need, is warranted. The field of nursing practice requires more attention.

Jeju Province was designated as 'the island of world peace' at the country level in 2005. Taking this opportunity, the study on which 'Jeju peaceful model' has been various. It is representative from among others that 'the peaceful zone mode towards a neutral or demilitarization', 'the island model of peace․prosperity․welfare towards making a special economic zone' and 'the model of peace island towards academy․culture․tourism level', and so on. But the one has character which can be discussed at a central government level, then the other and the third have characters which can be discussed at a local government level. Although the Jeju peaceful model has not set concretely yet, the peaceful events is held various and it is also prepared continuously. This situation is an evidence that central government, local government, NGO, and scholars make an effort to seek a peace model of Jeju in various fields, while it means that everyone has an oppose each others. Variety of peace discussion has contributed in appearance of Jeju peaceful model that propriety and relevance is included, rising interest in peace. But a concrete and realistic discussion of peace that the local residents in Jeju can realized directly does not become accomplished specially yet. Today concept of peace is appreciated that positive one which be free from structural violence or restraint various rather than native one which contrary to war. In this level currently the most structural restraint that local residents has been undergoing is economic inequality. The analysis about economic stable degree of residents each person approach the most basic peace that must enjoyed as human. Actually after the foreign exchange crisis in 1997 neoliberalism economic and welfare policies made local residents suffer from bankrupt and unemployment. and the problem of the poor is appearing one of the most structural non-peace issue by reflecting the economic polarization deepen over time. This paper insists that peace model of Jeju should embrace concept of economic equality from now on, and present that its one is called 'economic welfare community'. A social democracy theory were introduced to explain alternative theory that can contribute to relieves income gap between the rich and poor. Also this paper presents that a possibility of Jeju peaceful model towards easing and narrowing of economic unequality, its model is examined through Swedish model base on social democracy. Sweden is a representative social democracy country. So Swedish believes that it is important worth that policies of pro-laborer, distribution putting first, and unionism. This worth makes to appear corporatism system, universalism welfare, and positive hiring policy, and its policies achieve that national high-income and narrowing of the gap between the rich and poor. Of course Sweden is revising their policies including welfare policy for relieving the financial burden. But they are not give up its own social democracy, in the process of seeking an alternative plan for adapt themself to new change in the international society. Therefore, Jeju needs to be concerned about Swedish model to promote economic peace model of Jeju style. We should be carrying on study on Swedish social democracy model, so have to found 'Island of peace, Jeju' as 'economic peaceful community' that minimized the gap between the rich and poor. By doing so, Jeju can be the most anthropocentric and effective peace area in the world. That is 'peaceful model of Jeju type' to our duty to do as positive concept of peace.
