This study analyzes each rhythm of the Buddhist Dance, which was passed on from Tae Heung Kang to Soon Seo Han, and discusses the relationship between the rhythm and the dance move for the purpose of identifying the aesthetic characteristics of Soon Seo Han’s the Buddhist Dance. There are three main findings in this study. First, the dynamic and dramatic effects are emphasized through a type of Korean traditional dance move. Second, there are some unique dance moves that cannot be observed in the other versions of the Buddhist Dance. Third, Soon Seo Han’s version of the Buddhist Dance follows a dramatic narrative format based on the theme of ‘a Buddhist monk’s anguish and return to his religion’ and this format is the most distinguishing feature of her dance. Soon Seo Han’s version of the Buddhist Dance possesses scarcity and value as it employs the dramatic format, a rare feature in Korean traditional dance, while continuing the legacy of the Nun’s Dance.

본 연구는 지역의 향토 문화적 특징이 잘 보존되어 있는 영남 지방과 호남 지방 운심게작법의 음악적 형식과 동작의 구성에 대한 비교 및 민속무용적 성격에 대해 고찰하고자 한다. 영남 불모산 운심게작법과 전라북도 운심게작법은 전체적인 구성방법의 차이로 인해 음악적 형식 및 동작의 구성에서 차이점을 나타내고 있다. 음악적으로는 두 지방 모두 운심공양진언을 어장스님이 범음 하였으나 영남 지방은 범음을 중심으로 하고 호남 지방은 태징 장단과 구음을 중심으로 하는 차이점을 나타내고 있다. 또한 동작의 구성 및 민속무용적 성격에 대해 분석한 결과 전체적으로 우리 민속춤 고유의 정신인 정중동의 아름다움을 내포하고 있었으나 춤의 전체적인 이미지는 상이 하였다. 영남 불모산 운심게작법은 단순하고 간결하며 고고한 춤사위를 지니며 학춤을 형상화 하고 있는데 비해, 전라북도 운심게작법은 춤사위가 유연하면서도 부드럽고 보다 흥겹고 민속적인 요소가 많이 등장 하며 잉어춤을 형상화 하고 있다. 연구결과, 운심게작법은 원류는 하나이나 지리적 차이와 각 지방의 상이한 문화적 특성으로 인해 각 지방마다 서로 다른 형식과 구성을 취하며 오늘날에 거행하는 형태로 전승되었음을 확인 하였다. The purpose of this study is to compare Unshimghe Dances of Gyeongsang and North Jeolla Provinces in order to identify the differences between them. Their local cultural characteristics are presented in terms of music and movements. Mt, Bulmo Unshimghe Dance in Gyeongsang Province and Unshimghe Dance in North Jeolla Province differ in terms of music form and composition of movements, because of the difference in general composition methods, Musically, Unshim offering mantra of both provinces are recited by Rev, Uhjang. However, Gyeongsang Province focus more on the music and North Jeolla Province focuses on gong rhythm and oral sound. In addition, in terms of movement, general images of the two dances are different even though shape, aesthetic elements, and meaning are quite similar. Mt. Bulmo Unshimghe Dance in Gyeongsang Province is rather simple and lofty and North Jeolla Province``s Unshimghe Dance is supple, tender, and cheerful, with more folk elements. As a result of this study, it is identified that Unshimghe Dances of the two regions originated from one root but passed down in different forms and compositions that are performed today, because of geographical differences and different cultural traits.

일반논문 : 한국무용분야 학술연구동향의 계량서지학적 분석

학문의 지식체계를 연구하는 계량서지적 분석을 통하여, 한국무용분야의 지적구조를 분석하고 트렌드를 예측하였다. 국내외적으로 계량서지학적 분석을 이용하여 학문 분야의 지적구조를 규명하는 연구는 활발히 수행되어 왔으나 예술분야 특히 무용분야의 계량서지학적 분석에 대한 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 한국무용분야 석·박사 학위논문의 서명에 나타난 단어를 계량서지학적으로 분석하여 한국무용분야 연구의 지식체계를 시각화하였다. 세부연구과제로는 한국무용의 명칭인 무용, 춤, 무의 사용 빈도분석을 실시하였고, 무용가와 작품명의 상관관계, 한국무용과 문화예술 장르의 관계, 한국 무용의 사회적 기능에 대한 분석, 예술경영요소와의 연구동향 등 한국무용분야의 현상과미래의 발전방향을 제시하였다. Investigating and analyzing the knowledge structures in masters`` and doctors`` thesises in Korean dance will allow us to understand the common problems of Korean dance in today`s society and the development process of research and find the future image of Korean dance. It is necessary to understand the current status to discuss the identity of Korean dance, and bibliometrically analyzing the knowledge structure of studies that are related to Korean dance will be the starting point of this discussion. Therefore, this study bibliometrically analyzed and structured the titles of masters`` and doctors`` thesises in the field of Korean dance. As result, based on the analysis, this reserch suggest a direction for Korean dance to be developed as a more systemic discipline. Also, in details, this study bibliometrically analyzed the frequency of the use of terms that refer to Korean dance, interrelations between dance artists and work titles, research trends in the field in relation with cultural and arts genre, social functions and managerial elements.
