Objectives Dyspnea due to neuromuscular disease is very rare in the complementary medicine field. The purpose of this study is to report a case which showed sypmtoms improvement after treatment with Sohaphyang-won. Methods To evaluate the results of this treatment, number of days which the patient had dyspnea, results of an Arterial blood gas analysis, and the patient's lab reports were measured. Results The patient who suffered from severe sudden dyspnea and applying mechanical ventilator, was treated by Sohaphyang-won and acupuncture therapy for about 2 months. He had been diagnosed as dyspnea caused by neuromuscular disease, which in Western medicine there was no specific treatment. But after treated with Sohaphyang-won and acupuncture, his frequency of dyspnea decreased. Conclusions This study suggests that using Sasang constitutuional medical treatment is effective for Soeumin patient with dyspnea induced by neuromuscular disease.

뇌졸중 후 불면을 호소하는 소양인환자 치험 1례 보고

Objective Insomnia is a common symptom among cerebral infarction patients. The purpose of this study is to report a case which showed sypmtoms improvement after treatment with Hyeongbangsabaek-san. Method To evaluate the results of this treatment, Insomnia severity index(ISI), Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI), Korean version of Beck depression inventory(K-BDI), Sleep dairy results were measured. Result The patient who suffered from severe insomnia after cerebral infarction attack was treated by Hyeongbangsabaek-san and acupuncture therapy for about 3 weeks. She refused to take Western medicine for insomnia, and after treated with Hyeongbangsabaek-san and acupuncture, her sleep quality showed improvement. Conclusion This study suggests that using Sasang constitutuional medical treatment is effective for Soyangin patient with insomnia after cerebral infarction attack.

난생신화와 "궤짝신화"의 상관성 고찰 -석탈해신화 화소의 복잡함에 던지는 의문

우리의 건국신화에는 영웅이 알에서 태어난다는 `난생신화`가 심심찮게 등장한다. 우리의 신화 속에서 `알`은 어떤 의미일까? 신화에서의 알은 영웅의 기이한 탄생이 배경이 되는 화소로 여겨져 왔으며, `난생신화`는 `천강신화`와 더불어 건국신화의 중요한 한 유형을 형성하고 있다. 그러면서 통상 건국신화의 유형을 구분할 때, `천강신화`는 북방계의 신화이고, `난생신화`는 남방계의 신화인 것으로 이해하여 왔다. 본고에서는 우리 신화 속 에서의 `알`의 의미를 생명의 탄생에 대한 고대인의 사유를 추론하여 고찰하였으며, 알에 내재된 생명의 탄생에 대한 원리가 천지창조의 원리, 굿의 제의의 형태, 장묘의 형태, 신주단지와 같은 것에서 공유되어지는 개념일 것으로 추론하였다. 반면에 신화에서의 `궤`의 등장은 제주도의 신화를 고찰하여 볼 때, `영웅의 기이한 탄생`이라는 측면보다는 `존재의 변화`와 `공간의 수평적 이동`의 수단으로 화소가 적용되는 경향을 보게 된다. 이러한 `궤`라는 화소의 특징을 `알`이라는 화소와 구분지어 분석해 볼 때, 삼국의 신화에서의 `알`이라는 화소는 `천강신화`와 더욱 결합이 잘 되는 화소이며, 반면에 `궤`라는 화소는 `해양도래 신화`의 형태와 더욱 결합이 잘 되는 화소로 여겨진다. 이는 `궤`를 `알`의 변형된 형태로 보는 기존의 일부 해석과는 달리 `알신화`외 `궤짝신화`가 서로 다른 문화적 배경을 가지고 있는 독립된 화소일 것으로 추정되어지는 부분이다. 이러한 `천강신화`와 `해양도래 신화` 그리고 `알신화`와 `궤짝신화`는 고대 신라의 신화에서는 단순하게 결합되는 것이 아니라, 다소 복합적인 결합을 통해 다양한 신화내용을 형성하고 있다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 필자의 좁은 식견으로 인해 연구의 범위를 국내의 건국신화와 제주도의 신화에 한정 할 수밖에 없었으며, 이러한 화소의 형성배경을 이해하기 위해서는 보다 넓은 범위의 화소관찰이 요구된다고 할 것이다. We can find `Myth of egg` in the birth myth of a nation that has a story of hero who was born from egg. What is the `Meaning of egg in Myth`? The egg in Myth is a element that makes background of hero`s special birth. And when we divide the birth myth of a nation with a type, we do that the `myth of hero from sky world` is belong to a category of myth from north region and the `myth of hero born from egg` is belong to a category of myth from south region. In this paper, I suppose the meaning of egg in myth from imaging ancient`s thought and I suppose that the principle of birth life is affected in principle of creating world, ritual method of `a shaman`s exorcism(so we called Gud)`, ritual method of `Funeral ceremony`, meaning of `Siju-danji`. By the way, when I considered myth in Jeju, appearance of `Gwe` in myth is not meaning for the birth of hero with special method, but meaning that is function `transformation of being` and `horizontal movement in world space`. When I analyze the character of `Gwe in myth` compare with `egg in myth`, the element of egg in myth is well combine with `myth of hero from sky world`, and the element of `Gwe` in myth is well combine with `myth of hero from sea world` also. Thus in this paper, I suppose that `Gwe` is not transform shape of egg in myth that is known and suppose that two types of myth is belong to another background of culture and is independent each other. The `myth of hero from sky world`, `myth of hero from sea world`, `myth of egg` and `myth of Gwe` are combined complex, so it made variable story of myth with corelation.

원인불명의 흉부불편감을 호소하는 소양인(少陽人) 치험례

Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of Jihwangbaekho-tang on chest discomfort of unknown cause in a 52-year-old male patient diagnosed with Soyangin. Methods Patient had chest discomfort. But, the cause of this symptom was not identified by various cardiac examinations. The patient was treated with Soyangin Jihwangbaekho-tang for 2 weeks on the basis of Sasang Constitutional Medicine and the symptoms were evaluated by GAS(Global Assessment Scale). Results After using Jihwangbaekho-tang, GAS score has been decreased from 7 to 3. Conclusions This case study suggests that chest discomfort, whose cause is unknown, can be treated when using Sasang Constitutional Medicine.

태음인(太陰人) 위완한병(胃脘寒病)으로 진단한 하지 부종 및 위약감을 호소하는 심부정맥혈전증 여환 1례

Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of Choweseuncheng-tang on Underlying Edema and weakness by Deep Vein Thrombosis(DVT) in a 74-year-old female patient. Methods Patient was treated with Jowiseungcheong-tang. Patient's symptom was assessed NRS, Tape measurement, Motor grade. The treatment was executed three times everyday from May 19th to May 23th, 2017. Patient was observed from May, 18th to May, 23th. Results After 5 days of using Jowiseungcheng-tang, patient's edema symptoms and weakness were evaluated by NRS, Tape measurement, Motor grade. After the treatment, Tape measurement score decreased. The score of Motor grade increased. However, the score of NRS was nonsignificant. Conclusions The results suggest that Jowiseungcheng-tang can be a valuable option in treating Underlying Edema and weakness by DVT.

전신열감을 호소하는 소양인 여환 치험 3례

Objectives The aim of this study was to report improvements on the symptoms of Flushing for three soyangin female patients after using sasang constitutional medicines. Methods The patients were diagnosed with Soyangin Symptomatology and treated with Soyangin sasang constitutional medicines. The patient's subjective symptoms of flushing and discomfort in sleeping were observed using the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) respectively during the treatment period. And the patient's subjective symptoms of the pain were observed using Numerical Rating Scale(NRS). The period of the patient's defecation interval were also observed. Results and Concluions The symptoms of flushing, discomfort in sleeping and the pain improved remarkedly in all respects. In conclusion, this study shows that Sasang Constitutional Medicine can be an effective treatment for Soyangin patient with Flushing.

소양인(少陽人) 상소증(上消證)으로 진단한 배뇨장애를 호소하는 신경인성 방광 남환 1례

Objective The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of Yanggyuksanhwa-tang on Neurogenic bladder by Frontotemporal dementia in a 65-year-old male patient. Method Patient was treated with Yanggyuksanhwa-tang. Patient's symptom was assessed Total Frequency of urination, Frequency of nocturia, single voided volume. The treatment was executed three times everyday from March, 21th to March 29th of 2018. Patient was observed from March, 20th to March, 30th. Results During 8 days of Yanggyuksanhwa-tang, patient's symptoms were evaluated by Total Frequency of urination, Frequency of nocturia, single voided volume. After the treatment, Total Frequency of urination, Frequency of nocturia decreased. Single voided volume increased. Conclusion The results suggest that Yanggyuksanhwa-tang can be a valuable option in treating Neurogenic bladder by Frontotemporal dementia.

The purpose of this study is to find out the distribution process of Jeju Wolpyeong Pioneer farms and to reveal the status of Ctesiphon. To this end, a literature review was conducted to analyze the process of introducing Jeju by pioneering farmers and Ctesiphon. In addition, the characteristics of Ctesiphon placement of pioneer farms were analyzed through the aerial photographs of Jeju Island after 1967. Finally, we analyzed the status of the remaining seven Wolpyeong pioneer farms with 13 Ctesiphon.

간병인의 전동휠체어 사용에 대한 만족도 조사

본 논문은 전동휠체어를 사용하는 장애인을 관리하고 보조하는 간병인을 대상으로 전동휠체어의 만족도에 대한 것이다. 전동휠체어 만족에 대한 설문은 일상생활에서 가장 많이 사용하는 항목들을 전문가 의견과 간병인들의 의견을 통해 안정성, 조작성, 만족도 항목의 사용성 공통 항목들을 선택하였다. 또한 간병인의 일반적 특성, 간병 경력, 간병시간, 간병의 어려움과 전동휠체어 무게의 문제점을 개선하기 위해 접이식 전동휠체어 개발에 대한 의견도 조사하였다. 대상자는 전동휠체어를 사용하는 장애인을 보조하는 간병인 50명이었다. 연령대는 평균 54.54세이었고, 간병 경험은 80.98개월이었고, 하루 간병 평균시간은 9.80시간이었다. 전동휠체어 사용에 대한 만족도는 안전성, 조작성, 항목에서는 대부분 만족하였으나, 무게와 세척에 대한 만족도 항목에서 만족도가 떨어지는 것을 알 수 있었다. 전동휠체어의 가장 큰 문제점은 무게가 무겁고 조작하기 힘들고, 간병인들을 옮기기가 힘들다는 의견이 가장 많았으며. 접이식 전동휠체어에 대한 선호도는 높은 것으로 조사되었다. 간병인들은 전동휠체어 사용만족도 조사에서 무게가 가볍고, 보관 및 세척이 편리한 전동휠체어 개발의 필요성을 강조하였다. 따라서 이를 관리하고 보조하는 간병인들의 특성을 반영한 접이식 전동휠체어 개발이 필요하다 The purpose of this study was to investigate caretakers’ demands and request in electric wheelchairs. The survey included the usability questionnaire (safety, operability, satisfactions) which were selected by opinions of caretakers and specialist of rehabilitation for electric wheelchairs. The survey also included questionnaires consisting of such questions as to demographic information, care experience, care time, and care burden, and demand for folding electric wheelchairs. Participants were fifty caretakers of electric wheelchair users. Caretakers’ average age was 54.54years, and the average duration of their care experience was 80.98 months with average care time 9.80 hours per day. In safety and operability, most of participants were mostly satisfied. However, in satisfaction of weight and clean of electric wheelchairs was dissatisfied. They reported that the biggest problem of electric wheelchairs were too heav and difficult to control and that the greatest difficulty in helping electric wheelchair users was helping them with transfer to and from the wheelchair. They also need their prefer to develop folding electric wheelchairs. In this study, caretakers emphasized necessity of development light, easy to storage and clean electric wheelchairs. In conclusion, it is required to develop folding electric wheelchairs to reflect caretaker’s opinions.
